Description
本発明に係る駆動装置は、第1回転電機と第2回転電機とを備える。第1回転電機は、片方向にのみ回転可能である、上記の回転電機のいずれかである。第2回転電機は、両方向に回転可能に設けられた回転シャフトと、回転シャフトに固設されたコア体と、コア体に埋設された永久磁石と、コア体の軸方向端面に対向して設けられたエンドプレートとを有する。第2回転電機の回転シャフトには、冷媒が流通可能な第1冷媒通路が形成されている。第2回転電機のエンドプレートとコア体の軸方向端面との間には、第1冷媒通路に連通する第2冷媒通路が形成されている。第2回転電機の第2冷媒通路の内部には、第2冷媒通路を周方向に仕切る隔壁が形成されている。第2回転電機のエンドプレートには、第2冷媒通路から冷媒を排出可能な排出口が、隔壁の延在方向に沿ってエンドプレートの外周部に形成されている。また、第2回転電機の回転シャフトには、第1冷媒通路から第2冷媒通路へ冷媒を導入する導入口が形成されており、導入口は、導入口と回転中心とを結ぶ直線により、隣接する隔壁の形成する角が二等分されるように形成されている。
図1は、実施の形態1の、回転電機が適用されるハイブリッド車両の構成を示す概略図である。図1に示すように、本実施の形態に係るハイブリッド車両は、エンジン100と、駆動ユニット200と、PCU300と、バッテリ400とを含んで構成される。駆動ユニット200は、ケーブル500を介してPCU300と電気的に接続される。また、PCU300は、ケーブル600を介してバッテリ400と電気的に接続される。
実施の形態1で説明した隔壁および経路壁の形成されている回転電機は、車軸に直結される主機モータなど片方向にのみ回転可能である回転電機に好適である。一方、たとえば減速機の役割も果たすモータなど、両方向に回転可能であっていずれの方向への回転頻度も同等であるような回転電機には、冷媒の流れが一方向に規定される実施の形態1の回転電機は適さない場合がある。そこで、両方向への回転に対応した冷媒の流れにすることで、両方向に回転可能な回転電機に好適な冷却構造を提供することができる。
Claims (5)
- 回転可能に設けられた回転シャフトと、
前記回転シャフトに固設されたコア体と、
前記コア体に埋設された永久磁石と、
前記コア体の軸方向端面に対向して設けられたエンドプレートとを有し、
前記回転シャフトには、冷媒が流通可能な第1冷媒通路が形成されており、
前記エンドプレートと前記コア体の前記軸方向端面との間には、前記第1冷媒通路に連通する第2冷媒通路が形成されており、
前記第2冷媒通路の内部には、前記第2冷媒通路を周方向に仕切る隔壁と、前記第2冷媒通路へ導入された冷媒を前記永久磁石が配置されている前記軸方向端面の外周縁領域にまで導く経路壁とが形成されている、回転電機。 - 前記回転シャフトには、前記第1冷媒通路から前記第2冷媒通路へ冷媒を導入する導入口が形成されており、
前記エンドプレートには、前記第2冷媒通路から冷媒を排出可能な排出口が形成されており、
前記導入口は、前記隔壁に対して回転方向後方側に位置するように形成されており、
前記排出口は、前記導入口と回転中心とを結ぶ直線に対して回転方向後方側に位置するように形成されている、請求項1に記載の回転電機。 - 前記経路壁は、前記隔壁に沿うように、前記隔壁の回転方向後方側に形成されており、
前記導入口は、前記隔壁と前記経路壁との間に形成されている、請求項2に記載の回転電機。 - 前記排出口は、前記エンドプレートの外周部に形成されている、請求項2または請求項3に記載の回転電機。
- 第1回転電機と第2回転電機とを備える駆動装置において、
前記第1回転電機は、片方向にのみ回転可能である、請求項1から請求項4のいずれかに記載の回転電機であって、
前記第2回転電機は、
両方向に回転可能に設けられた回転シャフトと、
前記回転シャフトに固設されたコア体と、
前記コア体に埋設された永久磁石と、
前記コア体の軸方向端面に対向して設けられたエンドプレートとを有し、
前記回転シャフトには、冷媒が流通可能な第1冷媒通路が形成されており、
前記エンドプレートと前記コア体の前記軸方向端面との間には、前記第1冷媒通路に連通する第2冷媒通路が形成されており、
前記第2冷媒通路の内部には、前記第2冷媒通路を周方向に仕切る隔壁が形成されており、
前記エンドプレートには、前記第2冷媒通路から冷媒を排出可能な排出口が、前記隔壁の延在方向に沿って前記エンドプレートの外周部に形成されており、
前記回転シャフトには、前記第1冷媒通路から前記第2冷媒通路へ冷媒を導入する導入口が形成されており、
前記導入口は、前記導入口と回転中心とを結ぶ直線により、隣接する前記隔壁の形成する角が二等分されるように形成されている、回転電機である、駆動装置。
