Abstract
【解決手段】屋根支持エネルギー変換システム10は、複数の太陽エネルギー変換タイル組立体とを備える。太陽エネルギー変換タイル組立体は、太陽エネルギーを電気エネルギーに変換する光起電タイル組立体100、および太陽エネルギーを熱エネルギーに変換するサーマルタイル組立体を選択的に備えることができる。また、エネルギー変換システム10には、屋根構造14から流れ落ちる雨の運動エネルギーを電気エネルギーに変換する水力発電システム200と、移動する空気の運動エネルギーを電気エネルギーに変換する風力エネルギー変換システム300とを組み込むことができる。これらからの電気エネルギーを受けるエネルギー管理システム20は、バッテリーを組み込んでおり、さらに生成されたエネルギーを公共配電網に転送することを可能にする接続システム30を有している。

Description
添付図面の図3から図13に示されるように、光起電タイル組立体(以下、単に「組立体」という)100の実施形態は、少なくとも1つの(この特定の実施形態においては、4つの)固体領域114を有するベースタイル112を備える。固体領域114には、釘あるいはネジなど機械的な留め具が打ち込まれ、これにより、ベースタイル112が屋根構造など基礎的な構造に固定される。固体領域にはあらかじめドリルされていないすなわち機械的な留め具のための孔が形成されていないことが想定されており、したがって、組み付けを行う人は留め具に最適な場所を選択することができる。しかしながら、この実施形態の変形例においては、1つあるいはそれ以上のそのような孔を形成することができる。
添付図面の図14から図16には、家12の屋根13から流れ落ちる水の運動エネルギーを電気エネルギーに変換する水力発電システム200の実施形態を示す。システム200は、タービン216と、少なくとも1つの縦樋220とを備える。タービン216は、ロータ218と、ロータ218によって駆動される発電機219とを備える。少なくとも1つの縦樋220は、屋根13から流れ落ちる水を受ける上端部222を有する。縦樋220は、上端部222からそれぞれの出口226a,226b(以下、まとめて「出口226」という)へと延びる水路224a,224b(以下、まとめて「水路224」という)を備える。それぞれの出口226は、ロータ218を同じ方向に回転をさせるために、それぞれの出口226から流れてくる水をロータ218上に誘導するように配置される。本明細書において以下により詳細に説明するように、水路224は、さらに、水路224aが水路224bへとオーバーフローするように構成されている。
添付図面の図17および図18には、勾配屋根構造14に加えて1つあるいはそれ以上の風力駆動タービン312と、カバー316とを備える建物12の風力エネルギー変換システム300の実施形態を示す。タービン312は勾配屋根構造14に装着される。屋根構造は第1勾配を有する。カバー316は、勾配屋根構造14上にタービン312の上方で支持されている。カバー316は、第1勾配より小さい、つまり勾配屋根構造14の勾配より小さい第2勾配を有する。
Claims (14)
- 屋根枠構造と、
複数の太陽エネルギー変換タイルであって、前記屋根枠構造の少なくとも一部に固定されるベースタイルと、対応するベースタイルに取り付けられる1つあるいはそれ以上のカバータイルとを備えており、前記ベースタイルは、隣接した端に沿って互いにシールするように係合するように構成されて実質的に防水であるクラッディングを前記屋根構造の前記一部に形成する太陽エネルギー変換タイルと、
を備える屋根支持エネルギー変換システム。 - 前記エネルギー変換タイルは、(a)太陽エネルギーを電気エネルギーに変換する複数の光起電タイル、あるいは(b)太陽エネルギーを熱エネルギーに変換する複数のサーマルタイル、あるいは(c)少なくとも1つの光起電タイルと少なくとも1つのサーマルタイルとの組合せのいずれかを備えている、
請求項1に記載のエネルギー変換システム。 - 前記屋根枠構造は、互いに上方向に向かって収束する少なくとも2つの傾斜辺を備えている、
請求項2に記載のエネルギー変換システム。 - 前記複数の太陽エネルギー変換タイルは、少なくとも1つの光起電タイルと、少なくとも1つのサーマルタイルとを備えており、前記光起電タイルが前記サーマルタイルよりも高い位置で前記屋根構造の前記一部に固定されるようにタイルが配置されている、
請求項3に記載のエネルギー変換システム。 - 前記光起電タイルおよび前記サーマルタイルの両方のカバータイルが、実質的に同一の外観であるそれぞれの露出面を有するように形成されている、
請求項2から4のいずれかに記載のエネルギー変換システム。 - 複数のカバータイルは、各ベースタイルに取り付けられており、前記カバータイルの少なくとも2つが互いにオーバーラップしている、
請求項1から5のいずれかに記載のエネルギー変換システム。 - 前記ベースタイルは、断熱機能を前記屋根枠構造に提供するように形成されている、
請求項1から6のいずれかに記載のエネルギー変換システム。 - 前記屋根の前記一部から流れ落ちる水の運動エネルギーを電気エネルギーに変換するように構成される水力発電システムをさらに備える、
請求項1から7のいずれかに記載のエネルギー変換システム。 - 前記水力発電システムは、1つあるいはそれ以上の樋と、1つあるいはそれ以上の縦樋と、1つあるいはそれ以上の水力タービンとを備えており、
前記樋および前記縦樋は、前記屋根枠構造の前記一部から流れ落ちる雨水を集めるように配置され、これにより、その1つのあるいは各水力タービンを駆動する水の流れが生じる、
請求項8に記載のエネルギー変換システム。 - 前記屋根枠構造によって支持され、移動する空気塊の運動エネルギーを電気エネルギーに変換する1つあるいはそれ以上の風力タービンを有する風力エネルギー変換システムをさらに備える、
請求項1から9のいずれかに記載のエネルギー変換システム。 - 前記風力システムは、前記屋根枠構造とともに、前記屋根枠構造へと上へ流れて前記1つあるいはそれ以上の風力タービンを通るように移動する空気を誘導する風のトンネルを形成するように、前記1つあるいはそれ以上の風力タービンを覆うカバーをさらに備えている、
請求項10に記載のエネルギー変換システム。 - 前記太陽エネルギー変換タイル、水力発電システムおよび前記風力エネルギー変換システムから電気エネルギーを受けて管理するエネルギー管理システムをさらに備える、
