Abstract
【解決手段】(A)ジルコニウム化合物、ケイ素化合物、キレート剤が溶解している溶液、および/または、(B)前記の(A)溶液組成物にカルシウム、亜鉛、チタン、セリウム、イットリウムから選ばれる少なくとも1種以上の水溶性化合物を含有し、鉄系、亜鉛系、アルミ系の金属の表面上に塗装下地剤として優れた防錆力、耐食性、塗装密着性を発揮する皮膜を形成できるクロムを含有しないことを特徴とするジルコニウムを主成分とする金属表面処理剤の溶液組成物。

Description
(1)炭酸が配位したジルコニウム錯体またはジルコニウムの炭酸塩がアニオンとして、対カチオンとしてアンモニアまたはアルキルアミンが錯塩もしくは複塩として存在する溶液にシランカップリング剤またはその加水分解縮合物とキレート剤を含有する溶液組成物
(2)(1)の溶液にチタン化合物を含む溶液組成物
(3)(1)の溶液に亜鉛化合物を含む溶液組成物
から優れた耐食性、防錆力、塗装密着性を持つジルコニアを主成分とする塗布型の溶液組成物が作成できる。
(式中、R1、R2、R3、R4は水素または炭素数が1〜10のアルキル基であって、R1〜R4中少なくとも一つがアルキル基を示し、R1〜R4はそれぞれ同じでも異なっていてもよい。)
1000mLビーカー中に28%アンモニア水600gの中に二酸化炭素をバブリングしながら撹拌している中に85 %ジルコニウム(IV)ブトキシド1−ブタノール溶液を85gを滴下して約2時間バブリングしながら反応を行う。その後、分液ロートに白色懸濁液を移し、1時間放置してブタノール分と水溶液を分離させ、ジルコニウム炭酸錯体が溶解した水溶液を回収する(酸化ジルコニウム換算濃度3wt%)。
ケイ酸化合物層の積層コートに用いる溶液組成物は実施例1よりジルコニウムの濃度が低い溶液を用いた。
300mLビーカーに実施例1の方法にならい合成した酸化ジルコニウム換算で5wt%のジルコニウム錯体含有溶液87.5g、アンモニア水の中で二酸化炭素をバブリングしながらチタンテトライソプロポキシドを反応させた酸化チタン換算濃度5wt%のチタン含有溶液24.1g、N−2−(アミノエチル)−3−アミノプロピルトリエトキシシラン1g、エチレンジアミンを0.07g加えて全体が250gになるよう精製水で希釈して調製した。
実施例1の方法にならい合成した酸化ジルコニウム換算で2.5wt%のジルコニウム錯体含有溶液250gに、N−2−(アミノエチル)−3−アミノプロピルトリエトキシシラン1g、エチレンジアミンを0.07g、ジルコニウムと同じモル濃度になるよう塩基性炭酸亜鉛5.6gを添加して室温撹拌して溶解させ調製した。
鉄板:日本テストパネル株式会社製 標準試験板 自動車用鋼板
亜鉛鋼板:日本テストパネル株式会社製 標準試験板 シルバーアロイ
試験板の寸法:0.8mm×70mm×75mm
試験板をアルカリ性脱脂剤No.104S(ケミコート社製)を用いて50℃、2分間の条件で脱脂処理を行った。
続いて水洗後、表面に水ハジキが見られない事を確認してからコート処理を行った。
液温は室温(18〜22℃)で行った。
前処理で洗浄した鉄板および亜鉛鋼板を実施例1の溶液組成物に2分間浸漬した後100℃の乾燥機の中で10分間乾燥して作成した。
前処理で洗浄した鉄板および亜鉛鋼板を実施例2の溶液組成物に2分間浸漬した後100℃の乾燥機の中で10分間乾燥して作成した。
前処理で洗浄した鉄板および亜鉛鋼板を実施例3の溶液組成物に2分間浸漬した後100℃の乾燥機の中で10分間乾燥して作成した。作成した皮膜の表面を測定したところ実施例5、6とほぼ同程度の膜厚だった。
前処理で洗浄した鉄板および亜鉛鋼板を実施例4の溶液組成物に2分間浸漬した後100℃の乾燥機の中で10分間乾燥して作成した。作成した皮膜の表面を測定したところ実施例5、6とほぼ同程度の膜厚だった。
前処理で洗浄した鉄板および亜鉛鋼板を実施例1の溶液組成物に2分間浸漬した後に常温乾燥して作成した。
前処理で洗浄した鉄板および亜鉛鋼板を表面調整剤No.ケミクロンS−2(ケミコート製)で処理したのち、リン酸亜鉛皮膜化成処理液No.5700M(ケミコート社製)を用いて50℃、2分間の条件で浸漬処理した後、120℃の乾燥機の中で10分間乾燥した。
前処理で洗浄した鉄板および亜鉛鋼板をリン酸鉄化成処理液FF−7(ケミコート社製)を用いて、50℃の液温中に2分間スプレー処理後、水洗して120℃の乾燥機の中で10分間乾燥して作成した。
シランカップリング剤やキレート剤を含まない酸化ジルコニウム換算で4wt%のジルコニウム錯体含有溶液に、前処理で洗浄した鉄板および亜鉛鋼板を2分間浸漬した後100℃の乾燥機の中で10分間乾燥して作成した。
実施例2で使用した、3−アミノプロピルトリエトキシシランの1wt%水溶液に、前処理で洗浄した鉄板および亜鉛鋼板を2分間浸漬した後100℃の乾燥機の中で10分間乾燥して作成した。
下記の条件で実施例および比較例で作成した試験板に塗装を行った。
塗料:デリコン #300(大日本塗料(株)製)
塗装方法:溶剤スプレー塗装
焼き付け条件:120℃ 20分
塗装した試験板は、塗装面にカッターナイフでXにカットを入れてJIS−Z2371に規定された塩水噴霧試験を240時間実施した。その後、テープ剥離試験を行い、剥離幅を測定した。テープ剥離の方法についてはJIS−K−5400の塗料一般試験方法に規定された方法に準じて実施した。
Claims (5)
- (A)ジルコニウム化合物が酸化ジルコニウム換算で0.01wt%から25wt%、ケイ素化合物が0.001wt%から30wt%、キレート剤が1ppmから10000ppm溶解している溶液、および/または、
(B)前記の(A)溶液組成物にカルシウム、亜鉛、チタン、セリウム、イットリウムから選ばれる少なくとも1種以上の水溶性化合物をジルコニウムのモル濃度に対して0.1倍量から10倍量含有している溶液が鉄系、亜鉛系、アルミ系の金属の表面上に塗装下地剤として優れた防錆力、耐食性、塗装密着性を発揮する皮膜を形成できるクロムを含有しないことを特徴とするジルコニウムを主成分とする金属表面処理剤の溶液組成物。 - 請求項1記載の溶液組成物において、前記ジルコニウム化合物は、ジルコニウムの炭酸錯体のアンモニウム塩溶液またはジルコニウムの炭酸塩のアンモニウム塩溶液であることを特徴とするジルコニウムを主成分とする金属表面処理剤の溶液組成物。
- 請求項1記載の溶液組成物において、前記ケイ素化合物はシランカップリング剤またはその加水分解縮合物を含有する溶液であることを特徴とするジルコニウムを主成分とする金属表面処理剤の溶液組成物。
- 請求項1〜3のいずれか一つの溶液組成物を金属表面上にディップ法、フローコート法、流し塗り、カーテンコート法、スピンコート法、スプレーコート法、エアレススプレーコート法、バーコート法、ロールコート法、刷毛塗りなどのいずれの方法で塗布後、無水洗で10〜1000℃の温度で1秒〜5時間乾燥することにより、0.1nm〜10μmのジルコニウムを主成分とする高い防錆力、耐食性、塗装密着性を発揮する皮膜を形成させる工程を含むことを特徴とする表面処理方法。
- 請求項4記載の表面処理方法において、形成した皮膜の上に更にケイ酸化合物層を積層コートすることにより更に優れた防錆力、耐食性、塗装密着性を発揮することを特徴とする表面処理方法。
