Abstract
Description
1.(発明の分野)本発明は、聴覚方法およびシステムに関する。さらに詳細には、本発明は、言語受信閾値(SRT)を改善し、高周波数空間定位キューを保存し、かつ中耳または内耳に伝達する改善された高周波数応答を有する方法およびシステムに関する。そのようなシステムは、正常なまたは障害のある聴覚に対して聴覚プロセスを向上させるために使用され得る。
本発明は、言語受信閾値を改善し、かつ高周波数空間定位キューを中耳または内耳に保存する改善された高周波数応答を有する聴覚システムおよび方法を提供する。

Claims (27)
- ユーザの外耳道に入る周囲の音を捕えるように該ユーザの該外耳道内に配置可能な入力トランスデューサと、
該入力トランスデューサから電気的信号を受信する送信器アセンブリであって、該送信器アセンブリは、6.0kHz〜20kHzの範囲で周波数応答帯域幅を有する信号プロセッサを含み、該送信器アセンブリは、該ユーザの中耳または内耳に配置された出力トランスデューサにフィルタがかけられた信号を配信するように構成され、該フィルタがかけられた信号は、該入力トランスデューサによって受信された該周囲の音を表す、送信器アセンブリと
を備え、
該入力トランスデューサおよび該送信器アセンブリの構成は、該周囲の音が該ユーザの中耳に直接的に到達することを可能にする開いた外耳道を提供する、聴覚システム。 - 前記周波数応答帯域幅は、7kHz〜13kHzの範囲における高周波数定位キューを前記ユーザの中耳に配信することを可能にする、請求項1に記載の聴覚システム。
- 前記入力トランスデューサと前記送信器アセンブリの少なくとも一部分とを収納するオープンチャンバを有するシェルであって、該シェルの外面は前記ユーザの前記外耳道の特徴と嵌合するように構成され、
該シェルは、該外耳道の入口に隣接して配置されるように構成された第1の端と、鼓膜の近くに配置されるように構成された第2の端とを備え、該第2の端は、該外耳道の入口の外側からの前記周囲の音が直接的に該ユーザの前記中耳に到達することを可能にする1つ以上の開口部を備えている、シェルを備えている、請求項1記載の聴覚システム。 - 前記送信器アセンブリは、光学送信器を備えている、請求項1に記載の聴覚システム。

- 前記送信器アセンブリは、前記信号プロセッサから信号を受信する電磁気送信器と送信素子とを備え、該電磁気送信器は該送信素子を介して前記フィルタがかけられた信号を前記出力トランスデューサに配信する、請求項1に記載の聴覚システム。
- 前記信号プロセッサ、前記電磁気送信器、および前記送信素子は前記ユーザの前記外耳道内に配置されている、請求項7に記載の聴覚システム。
- 前記信号プロセッサは、前記ユーザの耳介の背後に位置し、前記電磁気送信器、および前記送信素子は該ユーザの前記外耳道内に配置されている、請求項7に記載の聴覚システム。
- 前記出力トランスデューサは、前記中耳の音響部材に結合され、該トランスデューサは、前記送信素子から前記フィルタがかけられた信号を受信するように構成されている、請求項7に記載の聴覚システム。

- ユーザの外耳道内に入力トランスデューサを配置することと、
該入力トランスデューサによって受信された周囲の音を示す信号を送信器アセンブリに送信することと、
約6.0kHzよりも大きい帯域幅を有する信号プロセッサで該送信器アセンブリにおいて信号にフィルタをかけることと、
該フィルタがかけられた信号を該ユーザの中耳または内耳に配信することと

該入力トランスデューサおよび該送信器アセンブリの配置は、フィルタがかけられていない周囲の音が直接的に該ユーザの該中耳に到達することを可能にする、方法。 - 前記信号プロセッサは、約6kHzと約20kHzとの間の帯域幅を有する、請求項16に記載の方法。
