Abstract
Description
Claims (22)
- 心臓弁であって:
第一のアンカーフレームであって、前記第一のアンカーフレームを通る開口を画定する表面を有する第一のアンカーフレームと;
前記第一のアンカーフレームと結合した二つ以上の小葉であって、前記心臓弁の開口を通る液体の一方向の流れのために開いた状態と閉じた状態の間を反復して動く二つ以上の小葉と;
前記心臓弁が完全に展開した形態で前記第一のアンカーフレームを通る開口を画定する前記表面上で垂直に伸びる二つ以上のアンカー部材と;を備える、
ことを特徴とする心臓弁。 - 前記第一のアンカーフレームが予め定められた周縁を有する管状部材を含む、ことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の心臓弁。
- 前記管状部材がリング構造形態を含む、ことを特徴とする請求項2に記載の心臓弁。
- 前記二つ以上のアンカー部材が各々第一の端を含み、前記第一の端が第一の予め定められた形から第二の予め定められた形に動いて前記心臓弁を予め定められた場所にアンカー固定する、ことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の心臓弁。
- 前記心臓弁を前記予め定められた場所にアンカー固定した後に前記開口の外側での液体の漏れを防ぐために前記第一のアンカーフレームに封止物質を含む、ことを特徴とする請求項4に記載の心臓弁。
- 前記封止物質が前記液体と接触すると体積が膨張する、ことを特徴とする請求項4に記載の心臓弁。
- 前記二つ以上のアンカー部材が各々さらに第二の端を含み、前記第一の端及び前記第二の端が第一の予め定められた関係から第二の予め定められた関係に動いて前記心臓弁を前記予め定められた場所にアンカー固定する、ことを特徴とする請求項4に記載の心臓弁。
- 前記二つ以上のアンカー部材に隣接して展開部材を含み、前記展開部材が前記二つ以上のアンカー部材の前記第一の端と前記第二の端を前記第一の予め定められた関係に拘束する、ことを特徴とする請求項7に記載の心臓弁。
- 前記展開部材を前記二つ以上のアンカー部材から引っ込めることにより、前記アンカー部材の前記第一の端と前記第二の端が前記第二の予め定められた関係に動くことが可能になる、ことを特徴とする請求項8に記載の心臓弁。
- 前記第一のアンカーフレームと前記展開部材の間に配置された封止物質を含み、前記展開部材を除去して前記心臓弁を前記予め定められた場所にアンカー固定すると、前記封止物質が前記心臓弁の開口の外側での液体の漏れを防止する、ことを特徴とする請求項9に記載の心臓弁。
- 第二のアンカーフレームであって、前記第二のアンカーフレームを通る開口を画定する表面を有する第二のアンカーフレームと;
前記第一のアンカーフレームと第二のアンカーフレームの間で伸びる支柱であって、前記二つ以上の小葉は前記第一のアンカーフレームと前記支柱に結合される支柱と;
前記第二のアンカーフレームの表面から伸びる二つ以上のアンカー部材と;を含む、
ことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の心臓弁。 - さらに基端と先端を含む送達カテーテルを含み、前記心臓弁が前記送達カテーテルの前記基端と前記先端の間に配置される、ことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の心臓弁。
- 前記送達カテーテルが:
前記送達カテーテルの前記基端から前記先端の方へ伸びる第一の送達管腔、第二の送達管腔、及び第三の送達管腔と:
第一の配置ガイド、第二の配置ガイド、及び第三の配置ガイドであって、その各々は細長体と管腔を有し、各々がそれぞれ前記第一の送達管腔、前記第二の送達管腔、及び前記第三の送達管腔内に長手方向に移動して前記第一の配置ガイド、前記第二の配置ガイド、及び前記第三の配置ガイドの一部が前記送達カテーテルの前記先端を超えて伸びることができるように配置される、第一、第二、第三の配置の配置ガイドと;を含み、
前記展開部材の別々の部分が、前記第一の配置ガイド、前記第二の配置ガイド、及び前記第三の配置ガイドの管腔を通って伸びて前記二つ以上のアンカー部材の前記第一の端と前記第二の端を前記第一の予め定められた関係で保持し、前記展開部材の前記別々の部分を前記管腔を通して引っ込めて前記心臓弁を前記第一、前記第二、及び前記第三の配置ガイド及び前記送達カテーテルから解放することができる、
ことを特徴とする請求項12に記載の心臓弁。 - 前記第一、前記第二、及び前記第三の配置ガイドが前記送達カテーテルの先端を超えて伸びると、前記第一のアンカーフレームが第一の予め定められた形態から完全に展開した形態に広がる、ことを特徴とする請求項13に記載の心臓弁。
- 前記送達カテーテルが前記先端に隣接して配置された第一の膨張可能なバルーンと前記カテーテルの細長体の中で前記第一の膨張可能なバルーンから前記先端まで長手方向に伸びる第一の膨張管腔を含み、前記第一の膨張可能なバルーンは少なくとも部分的に前記第一のアンカーフレームの前記開口内に配置され、前記第一の膨張可能なバルーンが膨張して心臓弁を完全に展開した形態に広げる、ことを特徴とする請求項13に記載の心臓弁。
- 前記心臓弁が:
第二のアンカーフレームであって、前記第二のアンカーフレームを通る開口を画定する表面を有する第二のアンカーフレームと;
前記第一のアンカーフレームと前記第二のアンカーフレームの間に伸びる支柱であって、前記二つ以上の小葉は前記第一のアンカーフレームと前記支柱に結合される支柱と;
前記第二のアンカーフレームの前記表面から伸びる二つ以上のアンカー部材と;
を含み、
前記送達カテーテルが前記先端に隣接して配置された第二の膨張可能なバルーンと前記カテーテルの細長体の中で前記第二の膨張可能なバルーンから前記先端まで長手方向に伸びる第二の膨張管腔を含み、前記第二の膨張可能なバルーンは前記第一の膨張可能なバルーンから離れて少なくとも部分的に前記第二のアンカーフレームの前記開口内に配置され、前記第二の膨張可能なバルーンが膨張して前記心臓弁を完全に展開した形態に広げる、
ことを特徴とする請求項15に記載の心臓弁。 - 心臓弁の第一のアンカーフレームであって、前記第一のアンカーフレームを通る開口を画定する表面を有する第一のアンカーフレームを形成するステップと;
前記第一のアンカーフレーム上に、二つ以上のアンカー部材であって前記心臓弁の完全に展開した形態で前記第一のアンカーフレームを通る開口を画定する表面上で垂直に伸びるアンカー部材を形成するステップと;
二つ以上の小葉であって、前記心臓弁の開口を通る液体の一方向の流れのために開いた状態と閉じた状態の間で反復して動く二つ以上の小葉を前記第一のアンカーフレームと結合するステップと;を含む、
ことを特徴とする方法。 - 前記第一のアンカーフレームを形成するステップが、前記第一のアンカーフレームを予め定められた周縁を有するリング構造形態に形成するステップを含む、ことを特徴とする請求項17に記載の方法。
- 第一の膨張可能なバルーンを少なくとも部分的に前記第一のアンカーフレームを通る開口内に配置するステップと;
前記第一の膨張可能なバルーンを膨張させて、前記心臓弁の前記第一のアンカーフレームを第一の予め定められた形態から完全に展開した形態に広げるステップと;
を含むことを特徴とする請求項17に記載の方法。 - 前記心臓弁の前記第一のアンカーフレームを第一の予め定められた形態に拘束するステップ;及び
前記第一の予め定められた形態にある前記第一のアンカーフレームを完全に展開した形態に解放するステップ;を含む、
ことを特徴とする請求項17に記載の方法。 - 前記第一のアンカーフレームに封止物質を設けるステップを含む、ことを特徴とする請求項17に記載の方法。
- 前記心臓弁の第二のアンカーフレームであって、前記第二のアンカーフレームを通る開口を画定する表面を有する第二のアンカーフレームを形成するステップと;
前記第二のアンカーフレームに二つ以上のアンカー部材を形成するステップと;
前記第一のアンカーフレームと前記第二のアンカーフレームを支柱で結合するステップと;
前記二つ以上の小葉を前記第一のアンカーフレーム及び前記支柱に結合するステップと;を含む、
ことを特徴とする請求項17に記載の方法。
