Abstract

Claims (21)
- カテーテルと、
該カテーテルに連結されるステントとを有し、該ステントはステントフレームワークを備え、該ステントフレームワークは、相互連結された複数のストラットおよびクラウンを備えた少なくとも1つのステントセグメントと、該ステントセグメントの周方向に隣接するクラウンの間に連結された複数のリングセグメントを備えた少なくとも1つの剛性増強リングとを有し、
該剛性増強リングは、ステントが配置されると、ステントフレームワークの長手方向軸線の回りで周方向に配向されることを特徴とする脈管状態を治療するシステム。 - 前記剛性増強リングは、ステントが配置されるときのステントフレームワークの過大拡大を最小限にすることを特徴とする請求項1記載のシステム。
- 前記剛性増強リングは配置リコイルを低減させることを特徴とする請求項1記載のシステム。
- 前記カテーテルは、ステントの拡大に使用される膨張可能なバルーンを有していることを特徴とする請求項1記載のシステム。
- 前記カテーテルは、引込めることによりステントの拡大を可能にするシースを有していることを特徴とする請求項1記載のシステム。
- 前記ステントフレームワークは、剛性増強リングを備えた少なくとも1つの端セグメントを有していることを特徴とする請求項1記載のシステム。
- 前記ステントフレームワークは、剛性増強リングを備えていない少なくとも1つの端セグメントを有していることを特徴とする請求項1記載のシステム。
- 前記ステントフレームワークは、金属ベースまたはポリマーベースのいずれか一方からなることを特徴とする請求項1記載のシステム。
- 前記金属ベースは、ステンレス鋼、ニチノール、タンタル、MP35N合金、コバルトベース合金、プラチナ、チタン、適当な生体適合性合金、適当な生体適合性材料およびこれらの組合せからなる群から選択されることを特徴とする請求項8記載のシステム。
- 前記ステントフレームワークはチューブから切断されることを特徴とする請求項1記載のシステム。
- 少なくとも1つのステントセグメントのクラウンは、溶接継手により、隣接するステントセグメントの対応クラウンに連結されていることを特徴とする請求項1記載のシステム。
- 前記少なくとも1つのステントセグメントは、成形継手により、隣接するステントセグメントの対応クラウンに連結されていることを特徴とする請求項1記載のシステム。
- 前記ステントは、心臓血管ステント、末梢ステント、腹部大動脈瘤ステント、大脳ステント、頚動脈ステント、脈管内ステント、大動脈弁ステントまたは肺動脈弁からなる群から選択されることを特徴とする請求項1記載のシステム。
- 前記ステントフレームワークには薬剤−ポリマーコーティングが設けられていることを特徴とする請求項1記載のシステム。
- 前記ステントフレームワークに取付けられかつ該ステントフレームワークの中央ルーメン内に配置されるバイオプロテーゼ弁を更に有していることを特徴とする請求項1記載のシステム。
- 前記バイオプロテーゼ弁はウシの頚静脈弁からなることを特徴とする請求項15記載のシステム。
- 相互連結された複数のストラットおよびクラウンを備えた少なくとも1つのステントセグメントと、該ステントセグメントの周方向に隣接するクラウンの間に連結された複数のリングセグメントを備えた少なくとも1つの剛性増強リングとを有するステントフレームワークを有し、
前記剛性増強リングは、ステントが配置されると、ステントフレームワークの長手方向軸線の回りで周方向に配向されることを特徴とするステント。 - 前記ステントフレームワークには薬剤−ポリマーコーティングが設けられていることを特徴とする請求項17記載のステント。
- 前記ステントフレームワークに取付けられかつ該ステントフレームワークの中央ルーメン内に配置されるバイオプロテーゼ弁を更に有していることを特徴とする請求項17記載のステント。
- バイオプロテーゼ弁を備えたステントを、カテーテルを介して目標領域に配給する段階と、
ステントを拡大させてバイオプロテーゼ弁を配置する段階と、
ステントが拡大されるときに、ステントの少なくとも1つの剛性増強リングを形成する段階とを有することを特徴とする脈管状態を治療する方法。 - ステントが拡大されるときに、ステントの少なくとも1つの剛性増強リングを形成する前記段階は、ステントの周方向に隣接するクラウンの間に連結された複数のリングセグメントを実質的に真直化することからなり、剛性増強リングは、ステントの長手方向軸線の回りで周方向に配向されることを特徴とする請求項20記載の方法。
