Abstract

Claims (10)
- 印字ヘッドモジュールであって、
1つ以上のポンピングチャンバを含む印字ヘッド本体であって、
各ポンピングチャンバが印刷液供給源から印刷液を受け取るように構成された受取り端部と、該ポンピングチャンバから該印刷液を噴射する噴射端部とを含む、印字ヘッド本体と、
ノズルプレートであって、該ノズルプレートは、該ノズルプレートを貫通して形成された1つ以上のノズルを含み、ノズルが各ポンピングチャンバと流体的に連絡しており、該ノズルからの噴射のための該ポンピングチャンバの噴射端部から印刷液を受け取る、ノズルプレートと、
該ノズルプレートと接続された1つ以上の圧電アチュエータであって、該圧電アチュエータが、各ポンピングチャンバ上に配置され、該ポンピングチャンバを歪めて加圧することにより、該ポンピングチャンバの噴射端部と流体的に連絡している対応するノズルから印刷液を噴射させるように構成された圧電物質を含む圧電アチュエータと
を含む、印字ヘッドモジュール。 - 印刷液供給源アセンブリであって、該印刷液供給源アセンブリは、前記ポンピングチャンバの受取り端部と流体的に連絡しているタンクを含む、印刷液供給源アセンブリをさらに含み、該印刷液供給源アセンブリは、

前記印字ヘッド本体の裏面に形成された少なくとも1つの印刷液チャネルであって、該印刷液チャネルは、該少なくとも1つの印刷液チャネルが、複数のポンピングチャンバの開口部および前記タンクと流体的に連絡しており、印刷液が該タンクから該少なくとも1つの印刷液チャネルに入り、該複数のポンピングチャンバの開口部へと向けられる印刷液チャネル
をさらに含む、請求項2に記載の印字ヘッドモジュール。 - 前記少なくとも1つの印刷液チャネルが、前記複数のポンピングチャンバの前記開口部に傾けられた少なくとも2つの側面を含む、請求項3に記載の印字ヘッドモジュール。
- ノズル面および該ノズル側面と実質的に平行かつ反対に存在する裏面を有する印字ヘッドモジュールを含む印字ヘッドシステムであって、該印字ヘッドモジュールは、
1つ以上のポンピングチャンバを含む印字ヘッド本体であって、各ポンピングチャンバが、印刷液供給源から印刷液を受け取るように構成された受取り端部と、該ポンピングチャンバから該印刷液を噴射すさせるための噴射端部とを含む、印字ヘッド本体と、
ノズルプレートを貫通して形成された1つ以上のノズルを含む該ノズルプレートであって、該ノズルが、各ポンピングチャンバと流体的に連絡しており、該ノズルからの噴射のための該ポンピングチャンバの噴射端部から印刷液を受け取る、ノズルプレートと、
該ノズルプレートと接続された1つ以上の圧電アチュエータであって、1つの圧電アチュエータが各ポンピングチャンバ上に配置され、該ポンピングチャンバを歪めて加圧することにより、該ポンピングチャンバの噴射端部と流体的に連絡している対応するノズルから印刷液を噴射させるように構成された圧電物質を含む圧電アチュエータと、
該1つ以上の対応するノズルを噴射させる該印字ヘッドモジュールの該ノズル面と接続され、該1つ以上のポンピングチャンバを選択的に加圧するように該1つ以上の圧電アチュエータに信号を供給して該1つ以上の圧電アチュエータと電気的に結合されたフレキシブル回路と
を含む、印字ヘッドシステム。 - 印字ヘッドモジュールとキャップとを包含する印字ヘッドシステムであって、
該印字ヘッドモジュールは、1つ以上のポンピングチャンバを含む印字ヘッド本体であって、各ポンピングチャンバが印刷液供給源から印刷液を受け取るように構成された受取り端部と、該ポンピングチャンバから該印刷液を噴射させるための噴射端部を含む、印字ヘッド本体と、
ノズルプレートであって、該ノズルプレートは、該ノズルプレートを貫通して形成された1つ以上のノズルを含み、該ノズルが各ポンピングチャンバと流体的に連絡しており、該ノズルから噴射のための該ポンピングチャンバの噴射端部から印刷液を受け取る、ノズルプレートと、
該ノズルプレートに接続された1つ以上の圧電アチュエータであって、該圧電アチュエータは、1つの圧電アチュエータが各ポンピングチャンバ上に配置され、該ポンピングチャンバを歪めて加圧することにより、該ポンピングチャンバの噴射端部と流体的に連絡している対応するノズルから印刷液を噴射させるように構成された圧電物質を含む、圧電アチュエータとを含み、
該キャップは、該ノズルプレートに取り付けられ、該ノズルプレートを貫通して形成された該1つ以上のノズルに接続する1つ以上のアパーチャを含み、該キャップは、該キャップが、作動したときに、該1つ以上の圧電アチュエータに含まれる圧電物質が歪むのに十分な間隙を提供しながら、該1つ以上の圧電アチュエータをカバーするように構成されている、印字ヘッドシステム。 - 印字ヘッドシステムは、前記キャップは、該キャップの外面と前記1つ以上の圧電アチュエータとを結合させる電気的伝導層でコーティングされた1つ以上のビアをさらに含み、前記印字ヘッドシステムは、
前記印字ヘッドモジュールのキャップの外面と接続され、前記1つ以上のポンピングチャンバを選択的に加圧するように該1つ以上の圧電アチュエータに信号を供給して、前記1つ以上の対応するノズルを噴射させるように、該1つ以上のビアによって該1つ以上の圧電アチュエータに電気的に結合されたフレキシブル回路
