Claims (30)
- 外壁と、遠位端と、近位端とからなり、前記遠位端と近位端の間に存在するルーメンを備え、案内ワイヤの遠位端の近くに配置可能な組み合わせセンサハウジングと、
前記案内ワイヤに固定するため前記センサハウジングから近位に配置されるコイルと、
前記組み合わせセンサハウジングの外壁に固定される圧力センサと、
前記組み合わせセンサハウジングのルーメンの中で前記遠位端の方に、かつ、前記圧力センサのすぐ近くに配置される流れセンサと
からなる組み合わせセンサチップ。 - 請求項1による組み合わせセンサチップであって、前記組み合わせセンサハウジングは、さらに切り抜き部を備え、前記圧力センサは、その外表面が前記外壁と実質的に面一であるように、前記切り抜き部に取り付けられることを特徴とする組み合わせセンサチップ。
- 請求項2による組み合わせセンサチップであって、前記圧力センサは、前記組み合わせセンサハウジングの中で片持ち位置に取り付けられていることを特徴とする組み合わせセンサチップ。
- 請求項1による組み合わせセンサチップであって、前記圧力センサは、さらに、ダイヤフラムを含むことを特徴とする組み合わせセンサチップ。
- 請求項1による組み合わせセンサチップであって、前記圧力センサは、さらに、半導体結晶を含むことを特徴とする組み合わせセンサチップ。
- 請求項1による組み合わせセンサチップであって、前記流れセンサは、前記圧力センサと実質的に同じ位置で流れ速度を測定することを特徴とする組み合わせセンサチップ。
- 請求項1による組み合わせセンサチップであって、前記流れセンサは、前記組み合わせセンサハウジングの遠位端に配置されることを特徴とする組み合わせセンサチップ。
- 請求項1による組み合わせセンサチップであって、前記コイルは、さらに、前記組み合わせセンサハウジングの近位端に結合される放射線不透過性のチップコイルと、前記放射線不透過性のチップコイルと結合され案内ワイヤに結合可能な近位コイルとを備えることを特徴とする組み合わせセンサチップ。
- 近位端および遠位端と、それらの間に存在するルーメンと、外壁とを備える可撓性の細長い部材と、
前記細長い部材のルーメンのすくなくとも一部の中に同軸に位置されるコア・ワイヤと、
前記細長い部材の遠位端に結合される組み合わせセンサハウジングであって、外壁と、遠位端と、近位端と、それらの間のルーメンとを備える組み合わせセンサハウジングと、
前記組み合わせセンサハウジングに固定される圧力センサと、
前記組み合わせセンサハウジングのルーメンの中に、前記圧力センサのすぐ近くに配置されている流れセンサと、
前記圧力センサから実質的に前記可撓性の細長い部材の近位端に長手方向に存在している複数の電気コネクタと、
前記流れセンサから実質的に前記可撓性の細長い部材の近位端に長手方向に存在している複数の電気コネクタと
からなる案内ワイヤアッセンブリ。 - 請求項9による案内ワイヤアッセンブリであって、前記組み合わせセンサハウジングは、さらに、ルーメンと内壁とを備え、前記圧力センサは、前記組み合わせセンサハウジングのルーメンの中に、前記組み合わせセンサハウジングの壁に接触することなく、突き出ていることを特徴とする案内ワイヤアッセンブリ。
- 請求項9による案内ワイヤアッセンブリであって、前記圧力センサが半導体結晶からなることを特徴とする案内ワイヤアッセンブリ。
- 請求項9による案内ワイヤアッセンブリであって、前記細長い管状部材は、さらに、前記管状部材のルーメンの内面の上に配置され前記管状部材の全長にわたって存在する縦長の凹部を備え、
前記流れセンサおよび前記圧力センサからの前記複数の電気コネクタの少なくとも1つが、前記縦長の凹部の中に位置されることを特徴とする案内ワイヤアッセンブリ。 - 請求項12による案内ワイヤアッセンブリであって、前記細長い管状部材は、さらに、その前記ルーメンの内面の上に配置され前記管状部材の全長にわたって存在する複数の縦長の凹部を備え、前記流れセンサおよび前記圧力センサからの前記複数の電気コネクタが、別の縦長の凹部の中に個々に位置されることを特徴とする案内ワイヤアッセンブリ。
- 請求項12による案内ワイヤアッセンブリであって、絶縁材料が前記電気伝導体と前記コア・ワイヤの間に配置されることを特徴とする案内ワイヤアッセンブリ。
- 請求項14による案内ワイヤアッセンブリであって、前記コア・ワイヤの外径が、前記可撓性の細長い部材の内径と実質的に同じ寸法であることを特徴とする案内ワイヤアッセンブリ。
- 請求項9による案内ワイヤアッセンブリであって、前記可撓性の細長い管状部材は、さらに、複数の同軸ポリイミド層を備え、前記圧力センサおよび前記超音波変換器からの前記複数の電気コネクタが、前記管状部材の複数のポリイミド層の間に埋め込まれることを特徴とする案内ワイヤアッセンブリ。
- 請求項16による案内ワイヤアッセンブリであって、前記コア・ワイヤの外径は、前記可撓性の細長い部材の内径と実質的に同じであることを特徴とする案内ワイヤアッセンブリ。
- 近位端および遠位端と、それらの間に存在するルーメンと、外壁とを備える可撓性の細長い管状部材であって、さらに、外壁のルーメンの内面の上に配置される縦長の凹部を備え、この縦長の凹部が、前記管状部材のルーメンの中に同軸に位置される1本以上の電気伝導体ワイヤを収容するため前記管状部材の全長にわたって存在する、可撓性の細長い部材と、
前記細長い管状部材のルーメンのすくなくとも一部に同軸に位置されるコア・ワイヤと、
とからなる案内ワイヤアッセンブリ。 - 請求項18による案内ワイヤアッセンブリであって、前記管状部材が、さらに、前記管状部材のルーメンの中に同軸に位置される複数の電気コネクタを個々に収容するための、前記のルーメンの内面の上に配置され前記管状部材の全長にわたって存在する複数の縦長の凹部を備えることを特徴とする案内ワイヤアッセンブリ。
- 請求項18による案内ワイヤアッセンブリであって、前記コア・ワイヤの外径が前記管状部材の内径と実質的に同じ寸法であることを特徴とする案内ワイヤアッセンブリ。
- 患者の脈管構造の中の狙いの領域で血圧と速度を測定する方法であって、
組み合わせセンサハウジングを患者の脈管構造の中に挿入するステップであって、この組み合わせセンサハウジングは、そのハウジングに固定された圧力センサと、そのハウジングの遠位端の近くに配置された超音波変換器とを備えている、ステップと、
前記組み合わせセンサハウジングを患者の脈管構造の中の狙いの領域に進めるステップと、
前記圧力センサから測定値を得るステップと、
同時に前記超音波変換器から測定値を得るステップと、
前記圧力センサからの測定値と前記超音波変換器からの測定値を解析して、狙いの領域の圧力と流れ速度を決定するステップと
からなる方法。 - 請求項21による方法であって、さらに、制御コンソールを提供するステップを備え、
前記圧力センサから測定値を得ること、前記超音波変換器から測定値を得ること、さらに、前記測定値を解析することが前記制御コンソールを用いて行われることを特徴とする方法。 - 請求項21による方法であって、前記狙いの領域は血管狭窄を含むことを特徴とする方法。
- 請求項23による方法であって、さらに、
第1の流速状態で前記狭窄の遠位側で血圧と速度を測定し、
第2の流速状態で前記狭窄の遠位側で血圧と速度を測定し、
測定値を比較して前記狭窄の過酷さを決定する
ことを特徴とする方法。 - 近位端および遠位端と、それらの間の内部通路とを備えるハウジングと、
前記ハウジング内の内部通路と連通する開口と、ロック位置と非ロック位置との間の動きのため前記ハウジングを操作するためのねじとを有する先端部であって、前記先端部が非ロック位置にあるときに案内ワイヤがコネクタの中に挿入可能であり、前記先端部がロック位置にあるときに前記案内ワイヤが前記コネクタにより固定して係合される、先端部と、
前記ハウジングの前記内部通路内に前記先端部に近位に配置され、かつ、前記案内ワイヤと係合するコレット/ベアリング・アセンブリであって、前記案内ワイヤが前記コネクタに結合されているときに前記案内ワイヤの回転を許容するコレット/ベアリング・アセンブリと、
前記ハウジングの内部通路内に配置されるコンタクトハウジングであって、案内ワイヤ上の1以上の伝導バンドと連通する1以上の電気的接触部を備えるコンタクトハウジングと
からなる案内ワイヤコネクタ。 - 請求項25による案内ワイヤコネクタであって、さらに、先端部と前記ハウジングとに結合される保持装置とを備え、この保持装置は前記先端部の回転を制限するように構成され、前記先端部は、さらに、ロック位置で前記保持装置に係合する停止タブを備えることを特徴とする案内ワイヤコネクタ。
- 請求項25による案内ワイヤコネクタであって、前記コンタクトハウジングは、前記ハウジングの内部通路の近位領域に位置されることを特徴とする案内ワイヤコネクタ。
- 請求項25による案内ワイヤコネクタであって、非ロック位置で前記案内ワイヤが前記コレット/ベアリング・アッセンブリの中に挿入可能であり、ロック位置で前記コレット/ベアリング・アッセンブリが前記案内ワイヤに係合することを特徴とする案内ワイヤコネクタ。
- 請求項25による案内ワイヤコネクタであって、前記コレット/ベアリング・アッセンブリは、前記案内ワイヤが回転するとき、前記ハウジングの前記内部通路に相対的に回転することを特徴とする案内ワイヤコネクタ。
- 請求項25による案内ワイヤコネクタであって、前記コンタクトハウジングが、前記ハウジングの内部通路に固定されることを特徴とする案内ワイヤコネクタ。
