Abstract
Description

Claims (29)
- 近位端から遠位端まで延びる埋め込み可能な医療デバイスの多腔ボディであって、
第1の複数部材を有する第1の管状部材と、第2の複数部材を有する第2の管状部材とを含み、
前記第1の複数部材及び前記第2の複数部材の内の一方の対は、前記第1の管状部材及び前記第2の管状部材を固定的に噛み合わせるために、前記第1の複数部材及び前記第2の複数部材の内の他方を受け取る受取り部分を形成しており、前記第1の管状部材及び前記第2の管状部材は前記多腔ボディの近位端から遠位端を通って延びる複数の内腔を形成し、該複数の内腔はその中で細長形部材を受け取る、前記多腔ボディ。 - 前記第1の複数部材及び前記第2の複数部材の内の他方の隣接する部材間に延在する壁部分を更に含み、前記複数の内腔は、前記壁部分及び前記受取り部分を形成する前記第1の複数部材及び前記第2の複数部材の前記一方の隣接する対によって形成される請求項1に記載の多腔ボディ。
- 前記多腔ボディの前記近位端に沿って印加されるトルクは、前記第1の管状部材及び前記第2の管状部材を介して前記多腔ボディの前記遠位端まで伝達される請求項1に記載の多腔ボディ。
- 前記第1の複数部材は放射状に内側に延び、且つ前記第2の複数部材は放射状に外側に延びる請求項1に記載の多腔ボディ。
- 医療デバイス及び治療の内の1つを送出するために、前記第2の管状部材内の中心に形成された内側内腔を更に含む請求項4に記載の多腔ボディ。
- 前記第1の管状部材は第1の材料から形成され、且つ前記第2の管状部材は前記第1の材料とは異なる第2の材料から形成される請求項1に記載の多腔ボディ。
- 前記多腔ボディの前記遠位端に沿って軸方向に離間される複数のセンサを更に含み、前記細長形部材は該複数のセンサに結合された導体を含む請求項1に記載の多腔ボディ。
- 前記複数のセンサは、位置センサ、操縦センサ、絶対圧センサ、温度センサ、酸素センサ、pHセンサ、及び音響センサの内の1つを含む請求項7に記載の多腔ボディ。
- 前記多腔ボディの前記遠位端に沿って位置決めされる固定部材を更に含み、前記細長形部材は前記固定部材に結合された撓み部材を含み、該撓み部材は撓んでいない位置と撓んだ位置との間に前記多腔ボディの前記遠位端を進めるため、前記多腔ボディの前記近位端に沿って印加される引張力を伝達する請求項1に記載の多腔ボディ。
- 前記導体は、ツイストペアの導体を形成する、第1の遠位セグメントを有する第1のワイヤ及び第2の遠位セグメントを有する第2のワイヤを含み、且つ前記複数のセンサは第1の端部から第2の端部まで延びる巻き取られた導電性ワイヤを含み、前記第1の端部の一部分は前記第1の遠位セグメント周囲に螺旋状に噛み合わされ、前記第2の端部は前記第2の遠位セグメント周囲に螺旋状に噛み合わされる請求項7に記載の多腔ボディ。
- 前記多腔ボディの前記遠位端に沿って軸方向に離間される複数の電極を更に含み、前記細長形部材は該複数の電極に結合される導体を含む請求項1に記載の多腔ボディ。
- 前記第1の管状部材は複数の絶縁セグメントを含み且つ該複数の絶縁セグメントの1つ又は複数はその中に形成された前記第1の複数の部材を含む請求項1に記載の多腔ボディ。
- 前記多腔ボディの前記遠位端に沿った複数の長手方向の場所に沿って位置決めされた複数の固定部材を更に備え、前記細長形部材は前記複数の固定部材に結合された複数の撓み部材を含み、該複数の撓み部材は、撓んでいない位置と撓んだ位置との間に前記多腔ボディの前記遠位端を進めるために、前記多腔ボディの前記近位端に沿って印加される引張力を伝達する請求項1に記載の多腔ボディ。
- 前記多腔ボディの前記遠位端に沿って位置決めされる第1の固定部材と、前記多腔ボディの前記遠位端に沿って前記第1の固定部材から近位に位置決めされる第2の固定部材とを更に含み、前記細長形部材は、該第1の固定部材に結合される第1の撓み部材及び第2の撓み部材並びに該第2の固定部材に結合される第3の撓み部材及び第4の撓み部材を含み、前記第1の撓み部材及び前記第2の撓み部材は、第1の湾曲部分を形成するために、第1の部分の撓んでいない位置と第1の部分の撓んだ位置との間に前記多腔ボディの前記遠位端の第1の部分を進め、前記第3の撓み部材及び前記第4の撓み部材は、第2の湾曲部分を形成するために、第2の部分の撓んでいない位置と第2の部分の撓んだ位置との間に前記多腔ボディの前記遠位端の第2の部分を進める、請求項1に記載の多腔ボディ。
- 前記第1の部分及び前記第2の部分は前記多腔ボディの前記遠位端に沿って第3の湾曲部分を形成する請求項14に記載の多腔ボディ。
- 前記第1の撓み部材を受け取る前記複数の内腔の第1の内腔は、前記第2の撓み部材を受け取る前記複数の内腔の第2の内腔から前記第1の管状部材及び前記第2の管状部材の周囲に約180°に位置決めされ、前記第3の撓み部材を受け取る前記複数の内腔の第3の内腔は、前記第4の撓み部材を受け取る前記複数の内腔の第4の内腔から前記第1の管状部材及び前記第2の管状部材の周囲に約180°に位置決めされる、請求項15に記載の多腔ボディ。
- 前記細長形部材は、導体、液体送出針、及び撓み部材の1つ又は複数を含み、該撓み部材は、撓んでいない位置と撓んだ位置との間に前記多腔ボディの前記遠位端を進めるために、前記多腔ボディの前記近位端に沿って印加される引張力を伝達する請求項1に記載の多腔ボディ。
- 近位端から遠位端まで延びる埋め込み可能な医療デバイスの多腔ボディであって、
第1の複数部材を有する第1の管状部材と、第2の複数部材を有する第2の管状部材とを含み、
前記第1の複数部材及び前記第2の複数部材の内の一方の対は、前記第1の管状部材及び前記第2の管状部材を固定的に噛み合わせるために前記第1の複数部材及び前記第2の複数部材の内の他方を受け取る受取り部分を形成し、
更に前記第1の複数部材及び前記第2の複数部材の内の他方の隣接する部材の間に延在する壁部分と、前記近位端から前記多腔ボディの前記遠位端を通って延び且つ前記壁部分及び前記受け取り部分を形成する前記第1の複数部材及び前記第2の複数部材の内の1つの隣接する対によって形成される複数の内腔とを含み、
前記複数の内腔はその中で細長形部材を受け取る多腔ボディ。 - 前記第1の管状部材は第1の材料から形成され且つ前記第2の管状部材は前記第1の材料とは異なる第2の材料から形成される請求項18に記載の多腔ボディ。
- 前記多腔ボディの前記遠位端に沿って軸方向に離間された複数のセンサを更に含み、前記細長形部材は前記複数のセンサに結合された導体を含む請求項19に記載の多腔ボディ。
- 前記複数のセンサは、位置センサ、絶対圧センサ、温度センサ、酸素センサ、pHセンサ、及び音響センサの内の1つを含む請求項20に記載の多腔ボディ。
- 前記多腔ボディの前記遠位端に沿って位置決めされる固定部材を更に備え、前記細長形部材は前記固定部材に結合される撓み部材を含み、該撓み部材は撓んでいない位置と撓んだ位置との間に前記多腔ボディの前記遠位端を進めるため、前記多腔ボディの前記近位端に沿って印加される引張力を伝達する請求項20に記載の多腔ボディ。
- 前記導体は、ツイストペアの導体を形成する、第1の遠位セグメントを有する第1のワイヤ及び第2の遠位セグメントを有する第2のワイヤを含み、且つ前記複数のセンサは第1の端部から第2の端部まで延びる巻き取られた導電性ワイヤを含み、前記第1の端部の一部分は前記第1の遠位セグメント周囲に螺旋状に噛み合わされ、前記第2の端部は前記第2の遠位セグメント周囲に螺旋状に噛み合わされる請求項22に記載の多腔ボディ。
- 前記多腔ボディの前記遠位端に沿って軸方向に離間された複数の電極を更に含み、前記細長形部材は該複数の電極に結合される導体を含む請求項19に記載の多腔ボディ。
- 前記多腔ボディの前記遠位端に沿った複数の長手方向の場所に沿って位置決めされる複数の固定部材を更に含み、前記細長形部材は該複数の固定部材に結合される複数の撓み部材を含み、該複数の撓み部材は、撓んでいない位置と撓んだ位置との間に前記多腔ボディの前記遠位端を進めるために、前記多腔ボディの前記近位端に沿って印加される引張力を伝達する請求項24に記載の多腔ボディ。
- 前記多腔ボディの前記遠位端に沿って位置決めされる第1の固定部材と、前記多腔ボディの前記遠位端に沿って前記第1の固定部材から近位に位置決めされる第2の固定部材とを更に含み、前記細長形部材は、該第1の固定部材に結合される第1の撓み部材及び第2の撓み部材並びに該第2の固定部材に結合される第3の固定部材及び第4の撓み部材を含み、前記第1の撓み部材及び前記第2の撓み部材は、第1の湾曲部分を形成するために、第1の部分の撓んでいない位置と第1の部分の撓んだ位置との間に前記多腔ボディの前記遠位端の第1の部分を進め、前記第3の撓み部材及び前記第4の撓み部材は、第2の湾曲部分を形成するために、第2の部分の撓んでいない位置と第2の部分の撓んだ位置との間に前記多腔ボディの前記遠位端の第2の部分を進める請求項24に記載の多腔ボディ。
- 前記第1の部分及び前記第2の部分は、前記多腔ボディの前記遠位端に沿って第3の湾曲部分を形成する請求項26に記載の多腔ボディ。
- 前記第1の撓み部材を受け取る前記複数の内腔の第1の内腔は、前記第2の撓み部材を受け取る前記複数の内腔の第2の内腔から前記第1の管状部材及び前記第2の管状部材の周囲に約180°に位置決めされ、且つ前記第3の撓み部材を受け取る前記複数の内腔の第3の内腔は、前記第4の撓み部材を受け取る前記複数の内腔の第4の内腔から前記第1の管状部材及び前記第2の管状部材の周囲に約180°に位置決めされる請求項27に記載の多腔ボディ。
- 前記細長形部材は、導体、液体送出針、及び撓み部材の1つ又は複数を含み、該撓み部材は、撓んでいない位置と撓んだ位置との間に前記多腔ボディの前記遠位端を進めるために、前記多腔ボディの前記近位端に沿って印加される引張力を伝達する請求項19に記載の多腔ボディ。
