Abstract
【解決手段】本発明の携帯用表示装置は、液晶表示パネル104と、液晶表示パネル104へ光を供給するための光源となる発光ダイオード112と、液晶表示パネル104及び発光ダイオード112などを収納するとともに、発光ダイオード112の少なくとも2側面を覆うように形成されているモールドフレーム116とを備え、発光ダイオード112の側面を覆うモールドフレーム116に開口部117が形成されていることを特徴とする。

Claims (6)
- 液晶表示パネルと、
前記液晶表示パネルへ光を供給するための光源を含むバックライトアセンブリと、
前記液晶表示パネル及び前記光源を収納するとともに前記光源の少なくとも2側面を覆うように形成されているモールドフレームとを含み、
前記光源の側面を覆うモールドフレームの少なくとも一つの領域には少なくとも一つの開口部が形成されていることを特徴とする携帯用表示装置。 - 前記開口部は、前記モールドフレームを貫通する管状に形成されていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の携帯用表示装置。
- 前記開口部の断面は円形であることを特徴とする請求項2に記載の携帯用表示装置。
- 前記バックライトアセンブリは、前記光源の片側に位置して前記光源から供給される光を前記液晶表示パネルへ供給する導光板をさらに含むことを特徴とする請求項1から請求項3のいずれか1項に記載の携帯用表示装置。
- 前記モールドフレームは、前記光源の側面のうち前記導光板と隣接する側面を除いた残りの側面を全て覆うように形成されていることを特徴とする請求項4に記載の携帯用表示装置。
- 前記光源は発光ダイオードであることを特徴とする請求項1から請求項5のいずれか1項に記載の携帯用表示装置。
