Abstract
【解決手段】自動車用スプラッシュシールド10は、ヒンジ15によって連結された後側展開部13と本体部11にそれぞれ形成され、タイヤの回転中心から離れる方向に延びる立壁20,20’を有している。立壁20と20’の間には、ヒンジ15を中心とした揺動を可能とするために切欠21が形成されている。切欠21は、立壁20と20’の間に延びる遮蔽部材22によって塞がれている。

Claims (4)
- 車体パネルに沿って取り付けられ、タイヤの上方を覆う自動車用スプラッシュシールドであって、
自動車の前後方向に並んで配置された複数の分割部と、
前記分割部を互いに揺動可能に連結するヒンジと、
前記分割部の側端縁に、前記タイヤの回転中心から離れる方向に立ち上がるように形成された立壁であって、該立壁は、互いに隣接する2つの前記分割部にそれぞれ形成され、前記ヒンジに対応する位置の切欠を挟んで互いに隣接して配置された2つの立壁を少なくとも含む、立壁と、
前記切欠を覆うように前記2つの立壁の少なくとも一方に固定された遮蔽部材と、
を有する自動車用スプラッシュシールド。 - 前記遮蔽部材は前記立壁の端縁から延長するように形成され、前記立壁の端縁に沿って折り曲げられて、前記切欠を覆う位置に配置されている、請求項1に記載の自動車用スプラッシュシールド。
- 前記立壁の端縁の、前記遮蔽部材が折り曲げられている部分に沿って形成された突条をさらに有する、請求項2に記載の自動車用スプラッシュシールド。
- 前記遮蔽部材は、前記2つの立壁の両方に固定されている、請求項1から3のいずれか1項に記載の自動車用スプラッシュシールド。
