Abstract
【解決手段】基材上に少なくとも離型層、アンカー層、金属蒸着層、接着層を積層した金属光沢熱転写記録媒体において、基材と離型層の間に転写制御層を設ける金属光沢転写記録媒体である。さらに、前記記載の転写制御層がポリアミド樹脂からなる金属光沢熱転写記録媒体である。特にポリアミド樹脂の軟化点は、70〜120℃が好ましい。

Description
第2発明は、前記記載の転写制御層がポリアミド樹脂からなることを特徴とする第1発明記載の金属光沢熱転写記録媒体である。
第3発明は、前記記載のポリアミド樹脂の軟化点が70〜120℃であることを特徴とする第1、2発明記載の金属光沢熱転写記録媒体である。
μm程度が適当である。基材の背面には、必要により、サーマルヘッドに対するスティッキングを防止するために耐熱保護層を設けることが好ましい。
レフィン−無水マレイン酸共重合ワックスなどの合成ワックスなどの1種もしくは2種以上が使用できる。
着色剤に顔料を用いると、顔料が粒子状の形態をとるため転写層の切れ剤として働くが、染料を用いると染料は、蒸着アンカー層中に分子状態で溶け込んだ状態となり、顔料のように切れ剤として働くことがない。そのため、染料を用いたカラー金属光沢熱転写記録媒体の印像は、面状剥離を起こしやすいものとなる。染料を用いたカラー金属光沢熱転写記録媒体であっても、本発明の構成の転写層を形成したカラー金属光沢熱転写記録媒体であれば、カラーの高光沢の印像を面状剥離がなく得ることが出来る。
前記転写制御層上に下記組成の離型層塗工液を塗布、乾燥して塗布量0.5g/m2の離型層を形成した。

下記のプリンタを使って、被転写体にバーコードパターンを熱転写した。評価基準に沿って評価した。評価結果は、表2の通りであった。
使用熱転写プリンタ:SD−2(マーケム社製)
被転写体:厚み50μmのOPPフィルム
評価基準
(1)印像転写性
◎転写制御層なしと同等な高感度印刷可能
○転写制御層なしにくらべ若干感度低下が見られる
△転写制御層なしにくらべ感度低下が見られる
(2)面状剥離
○印像に面状剥離なし
×印像に面状剥離が見られる
Claims (3)
- 基材上に、少なくとも離型層、アンカー層、金属蒸着層、接着層を積層した金属光沢熱転写記録媒体において、基材と離型層の間に転写制御層を設けたことを特徴とする金属光沢熱転写記録媒体。
- 転写制御層がポリアミド樹脂からなることを特徴とする請求項1記載の金属光沢熱転写記録媒体。
- ポリアミド樹脂の軟化点が70〜120℃であることを特徴とする請求項1、2記載の金属光沢熱転写記録媒体。
