Abstract
【解決手段】真空掃除機などの表面処理機器(200)は、本体(210)と、表面処理ヘッド(230)と、支持体組立品(220)とを備える。支持体組立品は、本体(210)を表面に沿って転動させることを可能にするために本体(210)に回転可能に装着される。支持体組立品(220)は、また、表面攪拌装置を駆動するモータなどの、機器の構成部材を収容する。それに代えて、あるいは付加的に、支持体組立品は、流体の流れを受け入れる流体導入口(531)と、流体を排出する流体排出口(535)と、フィルタあるいは吸気装置など、入口が受け入れた流体の流れに作用する手段とを収容することができる。

Description
図3〜13に示される実施形態は、平坦な中央領域および先細の末端領域を有する樽状ローラを有する。図18〜21は、代替的なローラ形状の範囲を示す。このリストは、網羅的であることを意図するものではなく、例示されていない他の形状も本発明の範囲内に含まれるものとする。ローラ、または転動部材の集合体は、図18に示されるような実質的に球形を有することもできるし、図19に示されるような切り落とし面811、812を備えた球形を有することもできる。真球体は、質量中心と表面との距離が一定に保たれるため、本体が直進位置から転向されるときにローラを転向するのに必要な力が一定に保たれるという利点を有する。また、ローラ組立品の幾何学的中心と外面との距離が一定に保たれるため、本体が長手軸211を中心に回転されるときにヨーク235とクリーナヘッド230との間の継手237の高さが一定に保たれる。これによって、本体とクリーナヘッド230との接続要件が簡素化される。
再び図6および7を参照すると、本体210とクリーナヘッド230との間の接続は、アーム243の長手軸に対して傾斜した平面に形成された継手237を有するヨーク235を介してなされる。継手が配置される平面238の角度を、ここに示される角度から変えることができる。継手の平面238がアーム243の長手軸に垂直になるように継手237を形成することは許容できるが、ヨークを回転させてもアーム243(およびクリーナヘッド230)が転向しないため、本発明の十分な利点を提供しない。平面238が、アーム243の長手軸に対して傾斜し、(機械を前進位置にして)床表面に対して実質的に垂直になるように継手237を形成すると、良好な結果が提供される。平面238を図6に示される位置まで傾斜させ、またはさらに傾斜させると、本体が長手軸を中心に回転するときにクリーナヘッド230が移動する範囲が大きくなる。

Claims (23)
- 表面処理機器であって、
ユーザ操作可能であるハンドルを有する本体と、表面処理ヘッドと、前記本体に取り付けられ、前記ハンドルによって、前記機器を表面に沿って転動させることを可能にするために前記本体に対して転動するように構成された支持体組立品と、を備え、
前記表面処理ヘッドはヨークによって本体に接続され、前記ヨークの少なくとも一部は流体の流れを運ぶことを特徴とする機器。 - ダクトが前記ヨークのアームに配置され、
前記ダクトは、流体の流れを前記表面処理ヘッドから前記本体へ運ぶように構成されていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の機器。 - 前記ヨークは、湾曲した1対のアームを備えることを特徴とする請求項1又は2に記載の機器。
- 前記ヨークは1対の末端を備え、それぞれの末端は、前記本体に接続されていることを特徴とする請求項1〜3のいずれか一項に記載の機器。
- 前記ヨークは、前記本体に旋回可能に接続されていることを特徴とする請求項1〜4のいずれか一項に記載の機器。
- 前記ヨークは、前記本体に前記支持体組立品のそれぞれの末端において旋回可能に接続されていることを特徴とする請求項5に記載の機器。
- 前記ヨークは、前記支持体組立品の回転軸に略一致した軸の周りに旋回可能であることを特徴とする請求項5又は6に記載の機器。
- 前記ヨークと前記表面処理ヘッドの間に、旋回可能な接続をさらに備えることを特徴とする請求項1〜7のいずれか一項に記載の機器。
- 前記ヨークと前記表面処理ヘッドとの間の前記接続は、中間アームによることを特徴とする請求項8に記載の機器。
- 前記旋回可能な接続は、前記ヨークの中央部分を前記表面処理ヘッドに接続していることを特徴とする請求項8又は9に記載の機器。
- 前記支持体組立品は、少なくとも1つの構成部材を収容していることを特徴とする請求項1〜10のいずれか一項に記載の機器。
- 前記構成部材は、前記支持体組立品の転動面が前記構成部材の周りに回転するように、前記支持体組立品内に取り付けられていることを特徴とする請求項11に記載の機器。
- 前記支持体組立品は、流体の流れを受け入れるための流体導入口と、流体を排出するための流体排出口と、を備え、前記構成部材は、前記導入口を通して受け入れた前記流体の流れに作用する手段を備えていることを特徴とする請求項11又は12に記載の機器。
- 前記流体導入口は、前記本体と前記支持体組立品との間に支持を与えるように構成された導入ダクトを備えていることを特徴とする請求項13に記載の機器。
- 前記流体排出口は、前記本体と前記支持体組立品との間に支持を与えるように構成された排出ダクトを備えていることを特徴とする請求項13又は14に記載の機器。
- 前記流体排出口は、前記支持体組立品の転動面に複数の孔を備えていることを特徴とする請求項13〜15に記載の機器。
- 前記本体は、前記流体の流れから取り込まれた物質を分離するための分離装置を備えていることを特徴とする請求項1〜16のいずれか一項に記載の機器。
- さらなるダクトが、流体の流れを前記ヨークの少なくとも一部から前記分離装置へ運ぶことを特徴とする請求項17に記載の機器。
- 前記流体導入口は、前記分離装置から流体の流れを受け入れることを特徴とする請求項17又は18に記載の機器。
- 前記流体の流れに作用する手段は、フィルタを備えていることを特徴とする請求項13〜19に記載の機器。
- 前記支持体組立品は、ハッチを含むことを特徴とする請求項1〜20のいずれか一項に記載の機器。
- 前記流体の流れに作用する手段は、インペラと該インペラを駆動するモータとを有する吸気生成手段を備えていることを特徴とする請求項13〜21のいずれか一項に記載の機器。
- 真空掃除機の形態をとる請求項1〜22のいずれか一項に記載の表面処理機器。
