Abstract
【解決手段】性状の異なる少なくとも2種類の燃料(第1燃料F1,第2燃料F2)の内の少なくとも1種類が燃焼室CCに導かれ又は当該少なくとも2種類の燃料からなる混合燃料が燃焼室CCに導かれて主に理論空燃比運転される多種燃料内燃機関において、その燃焼室CC内に導かれる燃料の着火性及び耐ノック性を判定する燃料特性判定手段(電子制御装置1)と、その燃料の着火性が良ければ圧縮自着火拡散燃焼モードを設定し、その燃料の着火性が悪く耐ノック性が良ければ予混合火花点火火炎伝播燃焼モードを設定し、その燃料の着火性と耐ノック性の双方が悪ければスパークアシスト圧縮自着火拡散燃焼モードを設定する燃焼モード設定手段(電子制御装置1)と、これにより設定された燃焼モードで運転させる燃焼制御実行手段(電子制御装置1)と、を備えること。

Claims (3)
- 性状の異なる少なくとも2種類の燃料の内の少なくとも1種類が燃焼室に導かれ又は当該少なくとも2種類の燃料からなる混合燃料が燃焼室に導かれて主に理論空燃比運転される多種燃料内燃機関であって、
前記燃焼室内に導かれる燃料の着火性及び耐ノック性について判定する燃料特性判定手段と、
前記燃焼室内に導かれる燃料の着火性が良ければ圧縮自着火拡散燃焼モードを設定し、前記燃焼室内に導かれる燃料の着火性が悪く耐ノック性が良ければ予混合火花点火火炎伝播燃焼モードを設定し、前記燃焼室内に導かれる燃料の着火性と耐ノック性の双方が悪ければスパークアシスト圧縮自着火拡散燃焼モードを設定する燃焼モード設定手段と、
該燃焼モード設定手段により設定された燃焼モードで運転させる燃焼制御実行手段と、
を備えたことを特徴とする多種燃料内燃機関。 - 前記燃料特性判定手段は、前記燃焼室内に導かれる燃料の蒸発性又はPM/スモーク発生特性を更に判定するよう構成し、前記燃焼モード設定手段は、前記燃焼室内に導かれる燃料が蒸発性の悪いものである又はPMやスモークを発生させ易いものであるときに、圧縮自着火拡散燃焼モードを選択しないように構成したことを特徴とする請求項1記載の多種燃料内燃機関。
- 前記燃焼モード設定手段は、前記燃焼室内に導かれる燃料が複数種類の燃焼モードを設定対象とすることのできる燃料特性を備えている場合、燃費性能及びエミッション性能又はその何れかに優れた燃焼モードの選択を行うように構成したことを特徴とする請求項1又は2に記載の多種燃料内燃機関。
