Abstract
【解決手段】ガスケットは、燃焼室を取り囲むボア孔22が形成され、積層されたビード板20、シム板30およびビード板21を備える。ビード板20および21は、両者を互いに結合する切り込みかしめ部51を含む。ビード板20、シム板30およびビード板21は、これらの板材を互いに結合するエンボスかしめ部61を含む。切り込みかしめ部51は、ビード板20および21の表面に切れ目が生じるように形成され、ボア孔22から相対的に遠くに配設されている。エンボスかしめ部61は、ビード板20、シム板30およびビード板21の表面に切れ目が生じないように形成され、ボア孔22から相対的に近くに配設されている。

Claims (6)
- 内燃機関のシリンダヘッドとシリンダブロックとの合わせ面に介挿されるガスケットであって、
燃焼室を取り囲むボア孔が形成され、積層された複数の板材を備え、
前記複数の板材は、その表面に成形された凹凸形状からなり、前記複数の板材を互いに結合する第1かしめ部および第2かしめ部を含み、
前記第1かしめ部は、前記複数の板材の表面に切れ目が生じるように形成され、前記ボア孔から相対的に遠くに配設され、前記第2かしめ部は、前記複数の板材の表面に切れ目が生じないように形成され、前記ボア孔から相対的に近くに配設される、ガスケット。 - 前記複数の板材の表面に成形される凹凸形状の高さは、前記第2かしめ部よりも前記第1かしめ部の方が高い、請求項1に記載のガスケット。
- 前記第1かしめ部は、前記複数の板材の外縁に配設され、前記第2かしめ部は、前記ボア孔に隣り合って配設される、請求項1または2に記載のガスケット。
- 前記合わせ面を平面的に見た場合に、前記シリンダブロックは、互いに直交する長手方向と短手方向とを有し、
前記第1かしめ部に生じた切れ目の開口面は、前記長手方向に延在する、請求項1から3のいずれか1項に記載のガスケット。 - 前記シリンダブロックは、前記燃焼室の周囲に形成され、冷却水が流通するウォータジャケットを含み、
前記シリンダブロックは、前記ウォータジャケットが前記合わせ面に開口するオープンデッキブロックである、請求項1から4のいずれか1項に記載のガスケット。 - 前記第2かしめ部は、前記ウォータジャケットと重なるように形成されている、請求項5に記載のガスケット。
