Claims (20)
- 電流(iOLED)が流れる際に発光する発光手段(8)と、
前記発光手段(8)と直列に接続される電流制御手段(4)と、
第1のスイッチング信号によって制御される第1のスイッチング手段(10)を介して前記電流制御手段(4)の制御電極に接続される制御線(S)と、
を備える発光ディスプレイの素子であって、
前記制御線(S)が、第2のスイッチング信号によって制御される第2のスイッチング手段(12)を介して電流制御手段(4)および発光手段(8)の共通の回路ポイントに接続されてなる、前記発光ディスプレイの素子。 - 前記第1のスイッチング手段(10)は、制御線(S)と電流制御手段(4)の前記制御電極との接続を解除する場合には、前記制御信号が保持される信号保持手段(6)が電流制御手段(4)の制御電極に接続される、請求項1に記載の素子。
- 前記制御線(S)は、第1の動作モードにおいて前記制御信号を電流制御手段(4)に供給し、さらに、第2の動作モードにおいて電流制御手段(4)および/または発光手段(8)の電気的パラメータを測定するように、使用される、請求項1または2に記載の素子。
- 前記制御線(S)は、電流測定手段および/または電圧測定手段(16、18)、および直流電流供給手段および/または直流電圧供給手段にそれぞれ切り替え可能に接続される、請求項3に記載の素子。
- 測定された電気的パラメータを検索可能に保持し、関連付けられたメモリを有する、請求項3または4に記載の素子。
- 格納された値を評価し、格納された電気的パラメータを用いて生成した制御信号を前記制御線(S)に供給する制御回路が設けられる、請求項5に記載の素子。
- 請求項1〜6のうちの一項以上に記載の素子が行および/または列に配列されてなる、発光ディスプレイ。
- 前記制御線(S)が、行および/または列に配列された複数の素子に接続されてなる、請求項7に記載の発光ディスプレイ。
- 共通の第1および/または第2のスイッチング信号が、行および/または列に配列された素子の複数の第1および/または第2のスイッチング手段(10、12)に供給される、請求項8に記載の発光ディスプレイ。
- 前記制御線が、当該制御線に直流電圧または直流電流を供給する制御回路に直流電圧の点において接続される請求項7〜9のうちの一項に記載の発光ディスプレイ。
- 請求項1〜6のうちの一項に記載の発光ディスプレイの素子を動作させる方法であって、
第1の動作モードにおいて前記発光手段(8)による光の照射を発生させる制御信号が前記素子に供給され、第2の動作モードにおいて前記素子の各コンポーネント(4、8)の電気的パラメータが測定される、前記方法。 - 前記第1のスイッチング手段をサイクルの最初に閉じるステップと、
前記格納された電気的パラメータを考慮して生成した、所望の光束に対応する制御信号を前記制御線(S)を介して前記電流制御手段(4)に供給するステップと、
第1のスイッチング手段(10)をサイクルの最後に開くステップと、
を含む、第1の動作モードにおいて発光ディスプレイの素子を動作させる、請求項11に記載の方法。 - 前記第1および第2のスイッチング手段(10、12)を閉じるステップと、
電流測定手段を介して前記制御線(S)を基準電位に接続するステップと、
前記電流制御手段(4)を介して短絡電流を測定するステップと、
前記測定された電流をメモリに格納するステップと
前記第2のスイッチング手段(12)を開くステップと、
を含む、第2の動作モードにおいて電流制御手段(4)の電気的パラメータを測定し、発光ディスプレイの素子を動作させる、請求項11に記載の方法。 - 前記第1のスイッチング手段(10)を閉じるステップと、
前記電流制御手段(4)の信号保持手段(6)に所定の制御信号を格納するステップと、
前記第1のスイッチング手段(10)を開くステップと、
前記第2のスイッチング手段(12)を閉じるステップと、
電流測定手段を介して前記制御線(S)を基準電位に接続するステップと、
前記測定された電流をメモリに格納するステップと、
前記第2のスイッチング手段(12)を開くステップと、
を含む、第2の動作モードにおいて電流制御手段(4)の電気的パラメータを測定し、発光ディスプレイの素子を動作させる、請求項11に記載の方法。 - 前記第1のスイッチング手段(10)を閉じるステップと、
前記電流制御手段(4)の信号保持手段(6)に所定の制御信号を格納するステップと、
前記第1のスイッチング手段(10)を開くステップと、
前記第2のスイッチング手段(12)を閉じるステップと、
前記制御線(S)を電圧測定手段に接続するステップと、
前記測定された電圧をメモリに格納するステップと、
前記第2のスイッチング手段(12)を開くステップと、
を含む、第2の動作モードにおいて前記発光手段(8)の電気的パラメータを測定し、発光ディスプレイの素子を動作させる、請求項11に記載の方法。 - 前記制御信号の様々な所定値ついて当該方法を繰り返して実行する、請求項14または15に記載の方法。
- 前記測定された電気的パラメータが制御回路に供給され、該制御回路が測定された電気的パラメータを用いて第1のスイッチング手段(4)および/または発光手段(8)の特性曲線のファミリーを計算する、請求項13〜16のうちの一項に記載の方法。
- 前記第1および第2のスイッチング手段(10、12)は、列または行に配列された複数の素子から、素子を選択するために使用される、請求項11〜17のうちの一項に記載の方法。
- 列または行に配列された複数の発光素子は、並列に駆動され、各行または列が連続的に駆動される、請求項11〜18のうちの一項以上に記載の方法。
- 前記発光ディスプレイ(100)の個々の素子または素子のグループのための供給電圧が、個々のコンポーネントまたはコンポーネント(4、8)のグループの測定された電気的パラメータに依存して設定される、請求項11〜19のうちの一項以上に記載の方法。
