Abstract
Description
本出願は2004年1月29日出願の米国仮特許出願第60/540,216号の利益を主張する。
(a)約10〜約90重量%の少なくとも1種のエチレン/酢酸ビニル共重合体、
(b)約5〜約35重量%の少なくとも1種の粘着付与樹脂、
(c)0〜約45重量%の少なくとも1種のポリオレフィン、および
(d)0〜約30重量%のフィラー
を含む組成物の使用を提供する。
(b)約5〜約25重量%の少なくとも1種の粘着付与樹脂、
(c)約5〜約45重量%の少なくとも1種のポリオレフィン
を含む組成物の使用が好ましい。
(b)約5〜約25重量%の少なくとも1種の粘着付与樹脂、
(c)約25〜約45重量%の少なくとも1種のポリオレフィン
を含む組成物の使用がより好ましい。
本発明の樹脂組成物の成分(a)は少なくとも1種のエチレン/酢酸ビニル共重合体を含む。エチレン/酢酸ビニル共重合体は限定されないが、好ましくは2〜40重量%、特に6〜30重量%の酢酸ビニル単位含有率を有する。エチレン/酢酸ビニルポリマーは場合により、無水マレイン酸またはマレイン酸のような、不飽和カルボン酸またはその誘導体での変性をはじめとする、当該技術で周知の方法によって変性されてもよい。エチレン/酢酸ビニル共重合体は好ましくは、ASTM D−1238に従って測定された、0.1〜40g/10分、特に0.3〜30g/10分のメルトフローレイトを有する。
粘着付与剤は差別化基材への接着性を高めるために主として使用される。
本発明での使用に好適なポリオレフィンは、オレフィンモノマーが2〜20個の炭素原子を有するポリオレフィンから選択される。成分(c)の任意のポリオレフィンは限定されず、例えば、プロピレン、エチレン、ブテン、ヘキセンまたはオクテンのホモポリマーまたは共重合体、好ましくはホモポリマーであることができる。
本発明の組成物はまた。場合によりフィラーをはじめとする追加の成分を含有してもよい。フィラーの添加は、組成物の耐熱性を高め、剥離シール特性に影響を及ぼすための方法として機能することができる。

EVA−2:DuPontから入手可能な30のMIのエチレン/酢酸ビニル(17重量%)共重合体
EVA−3:DuPontから入手可能な8のMIのエチレン/酢酸ビニル(12重量%)共重合体
EVA−4:DuPontから入手可能な3のMIのエチレン/酢酸ビニル(10重量%)共重合体
PE−1:3.5のMIのエチレンと1−ブテンとの共重合体(Exxon MobilからExact(登録商標)3035として入手可能な)
PE−2:3.5のMIのエチレンと1−オクテン(12重量%オクタン)との共重合体(DuPont Dow ElastomersからEngage(登録商標)8450して入手可能な)
Tack−1:Loos & Dilworth,Inc.からPiccolyte(登録商標)C115として入手可能なポリ−リモネンから誘導された粘着付与樹脂
Tack−2:EastmanからRegalite R1125として入手可能な粘着付与樹脂
Antiox−1:酸化防止剤Irganox(登録商標)1010
Antiox−2:酸化防止剤Anox(登録商標)20
メルトインデックス(MI)は、ASTM D−1238、条件Eに従って、2160グラム重量を用いて190℃で測定し、MIの値をグラム/10分単位で報告する。密度はASTM D−792に従って測定した。融点(m.p.)は、ASTM D−3418に従って示差走査熱量測定法(DSC)によって測定した。Vicat軟化点はASTM D−1525に従って測定した。
「P」−基材からきれいに剥離する
「FT」−フィルム裂け(寸断)
「FB」−フィルム破壊
「CL」−コーティング浮き上がり
「ZP」−ジッパー剥離
「T」−タック
「NT」−タックなし
「D」−層間剥離
実施例1、3、および5の組成物を含むフィルムを製造し、PCTFEを含むフィルムにヒートシールした。フィルムは、(外層からシール層へ)2ミル箔/タイ層として0.5ミルエチレン酸共重合体(8.7重量%メタクリル酸、10のMI)/1ミル試験組成物を含む構造を有した。シールを、Sentinelシーラーを用いて1秒の保圧時間で40psiで製造して1インチシール幅を提供した。
実施例1、3、および5の組成物を含むフィルムを実施例14〜16についての記載に従って製造し、PCTFEを含むフィルムにヒートシールした。PCTFEフィルムをMedipak Model CP−2l包装機(上方および下方成形温度115℃)を用いてブリスターパックブランクへ前もって熱成形した。実施例フィルムを、2,500psiのシール圧力および25容器毎分で様々な温度で成形フィルムのPCTFE面にヒートシールした。
Claims (14)
- (i)(a)約10〜約90重量%の少なくとも1種のエチレン/酢酸ビニル共重合体、
(b)約5〜約35重量%の少なくとも1種の粘着付与樹脂、
(c)0〜約45重量%の少なくとも1種のポリオレフィン、および
(d)0〜約30重量%のフィラー
を含む組成物を選択する工程と、
(ii)工程(i)の前記組成物をポリクロロトリフルオロエチレンフルオロポリマーと接触させる工程と、
(iii)工程(i)の前記組成物を工程(ii)の前記ポリクロロトリフルオロエチレンフルオロポリマーにヒートシールするために十分な熱および圧力を十分な時間かける工程と
を含む容易に剥離可能な開封特性を備えた気密ヒートシールの製造方法。 - 前記組成物が
(a)約30〜約60重量%の少なくとも1種のエチレン/酢酸ビニル共重合体、
(b)約5〜約25重量%の少なくとも1種の粘着付与樹脂、
(c)約5〜約45重量%の少なくとも1種のポリオレフィン
を含む請求項1に記載の方法。 - 前記組成物が
(a)約35〜約60重量%の少なくとも1種のエチレン/酢酸ビニル共重合体、
(b)約5〜約25重量%の少なくとも1種の粘着付与樹脂、
(c)約25〜約45重量%の少なくとも1種のポリオレフィン
を含む請求項2に記載の方法。 - 前記組成物の成分(a)が2種以上の異なるエチレン/酢酸ビニル共重合体の混合物を含む請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記組成物が成分(a)向けの3種のエチレン/酢酸ビニル共重合体および粘着付与剤の混合物を含む請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記組成物がポリクロロトリフルオロエチレンフルオロポリマーへのヒートシールのための成分(a)向けの2種のエチレン/酢酸ビニル共重合体、粘着付与剤およびポリオレフィンの混合物を含む請求項1に記載の方法。
- (i)(a)約10〜約90重量%の少なくとも1種のエチレン/酢酸ビニル共重合体、
(b)約5〜約35重量%の少なくとも1種の粘着付与樹脂、
(c)0〜約45重量%の少なくとも1種のポリオレフィン、および
(d)0〜約30重量%のフィラー
を含む組成物を選択する工程と、
(ii)箔、紙、ポリエステル、ポリアミド、ポリオレフィン、ポリエチレン・ビニルアルコール、ポリエチレン酢酸ビニル、エチレン/(メタ)アクリル酸共重合体およびそのアイオノマー、ポリ塩化ビニル、ポリ塩化ビニリデンならびに酸無水物変性ポリオレフィンよりなる群から選択された少なくとも1つの追加の材料を選択する工程と、
(iii)工程(i)の前記組成物を工程(ii)の前記材料とおよびポリクロロトリフルオロエチレンフルオロポリマーと接触させる工程と、
(iv)工程(i)の前記組成物をシール層として使用して、工程(ii)の前記材料を工程(iii)の前記ポリクロロトリフルオロエチレンフルオロポリマーにヒートシールするために十分な熱および圧力を十分な時間かける工程と
を含む多層構造体の製造方法。 - 前記組成物が
(a)約30〜約60重量%の少なくとも1種のエチレン/酢酸ビニル共重合体、
(b)約5〜約25重量%の少なくとも1種の粘着付与樹脂、
(c)約5〜約45重量%の少なくとも1種のポリオレフィン
を含む請求項7に記載の方法。 - 前記組成物が
(a)約35〜約60重量%の少なくとも1種のエチレン/酢酸ビニル共重合体、
(b)約5〜約25重量%の少なくとも1種の粘着付与樹脂、
(c)約25〜約45重量%の少なくとも1種のポリオレフィン
を含む請求項8に記載の方法。 - 前記組成物の成分(a)が2種以上の異なるエチレン/酢酸ビニル共重合体の混合物を含む請求項7に記載の方法。
- 前記組成物が成分(a)向けの3種のエチレン/酢酸ビニル共重合体および粘着付与剤の混合物を含む請求項7に記載の方法。
- 前記組成物がポリクロロトリフルオロエチレンフルオロポリマーへのヒートシールのための、成分(a)向けの2種のエチレン/酢酸ビニル共重合体、粘着付与剤およびポリオレフィンの混合物を含む請求項7に記載の方法。
- (a)約10〜約90重量%の少なくとも1種のエチレン/酢酸ビニル共重合体、
(b)約5〜約35重量%の少なくとも1種の粘着付与樹脂、
(c)0〜約45重量%の少なくとも1種のポリオレフィン、および
(d)0〜約30重量%のフィラー
を含む組成物と
ポリクロロトリフルオロエチレンフルオロポリマーとを含むパッケージ。 - ブリスターパッケージである請求項13に記載のパッケージ。
