Abstract
Description
本発明は、折り畳み式の眼内レンズに関しする。特に、後嚢の混濁(PCO)を低減でき、眼内レンズを安定させ、および/または、眼内レンズの容積を小さくでき、階段状縁部を伴い、眼内レンズと一体的に形成された少なくとも1つのハプティック(haptic)を有する折り畳み式眼内レンズに関する。
眼内レンズ(IOL)のような、折り畳み式眼科用レンズは、例えば、白内障により生来の眼の水晶体を除去しなければならない場合に、生来の水晶体と置き換えるために使用される。3ピースIOLは、通常、レンズのセンタリングおよび安定化のために堅強な固定部材またはハプティックが内部に与えられた柔軟で折り畳める材料により作られた光学体(optic)を含む。ハプティックまたは固定部材が、光学体と同じ折り畳める材料から作られ、光学体と一体的に形成された1ピースILOも用いられている。
Claims (33)
- 折り畳み式眼内レンズであって、
光学領域と、該光学領域を全体に取り囲む周辺領域とを伴う光学体であって、前面と、該前面に実質的に対向する後面と、光学体縁部と、光軸とを有し、該前面が中心面と、周辺面と、該中心面と該周辺面との間で、かつ該周辺面より後方に配置された窪んだ環状面とを含む光学体と、
該周辺領域と一体として形成されたハプティックであって、
末端部後面と基端部後面と、
該基端部後面と該末端部後面との境界に配置された階段状縁部と、
該光学体縁部と該階段状縁部との間に配置された側面縁部とを含み、かつ該基端部
後面と該光学体の該後面とが連続面を形成している、少なくとも一つのハプティックと、
該光学体縁部、該側面縁部および該階段状縁部と、該連続面との交差により形成された縁部の角部と、を含むことを特徴とする折り畳み式眼内レンズ。 - 上記末端部後面が、実質的に光軸と垂直であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の折り畳み式眼内レンズ。
- 上記ハプティックが、上記末端部後面と、実質的に対向するハプティック前面との間の上記光軸に沿った距離に等しい、ハプティックの厚さにより特徴付けられる請求項1に記載の折り畳み式眼内レンズ。
- 上記ハプティックの厚さが、光学体縁部の上記光軸に沿った厚さより大きいか、または略同じであることを特徴とする請求項3に記載の折り畳み式眼内レンズ。
- 上記ハプティックまたは上記光学体縁部の、上記光学軸に沿った厚さの少なくとも一つが、約0.2mm又はそれ未満〜約1mm又はそれより大きい値の範囲内であることを特徴とする請求項3に記載の折り畳み式光学レンズ。
- 上記ハプティックまたは上記光学体縁部の、上記光学軸に沿った厚さの少なくとも一つが、約0.4mm〜約0.5mmの範囲内であることを特徴とする請求項3に記載の折り畳み式光学レンズ。
- 上記階段状縁部が高さHを有し、かつ上記光学体縁部が厚さTを有することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の折り畳み式眼内レンズ。
- 上記高さHが、上記厚さTよりもかなり小さいことを特徴する請求項7に記載の折り畳み式眼内レンズ。
- 上記高さHが、上記厚さTより大きいか、略同じであることを特徴とする請求項7に記載の折り畳み式眼内レンズ。
- 上記高さHが、約0.1mmであることを特徴とする請求項7に記載の折り畳み式眼内レンズ。
- 上記厚さTが、約0.4mm〜約0.5mmの範囲内であることを特徴とする請求項7に記載の折り畳み式眼内レンズ。
- 上記末端部後面が、光軸に垂直な平面に対して、角度を有して配置されていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の折り畳み式眼内レンズ。
- 上記角度が、少なくとも約2度〜約12度又はそれより大きい値の範囲内であることを特徴とする請求項12記載の折り畳み式眼内レンズ。
- 上記周辺面の少なくとも一部分が、光軸に垂直な平面に対し、角度を有して配置されていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の折り畳み式眼内レンズ。
- 上記角度が、約5度〜少なくとも約50度の範囲内であることを特徴とする請求項14に記載の折り畳み式眼内レンズ。
- 上記角度が、約15度〜約35度の範囲内であることを特徴とする請求項14に記載の折り畳み式眼内レンズ。
- 上記階段状縁部の少なくとも一部分が、実質的に直線を形成していることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の折り畳み式眼内レンズ。
- 上記階段状縁部の少なくとも一部分が、弓形であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の折り畳み式眼内レンズ。
- 上記階段状縁部の半径方向にテーパーが付けられていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の折り畳み式眼内レンズ。
- 上記階段状縁部の少なくとも一部分が、丸みを帯びた先端を形成していることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の折り畳み式眼内レンズ。
- 上記階段状縁部の光軸に沿った厚さが、変化していることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の折り畳み式眼内レンズ。
- 上記階段状縁部の少なくとも一部分が、上記ハプティックの側面と一致していることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の折り畳み式眼内レンズ。
- 上記階段状縁部が、約0.05又はそれ未満〜約1mm又はそれより大きい値の範囲内の高さを有することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の折り畳み式眼内レンズ。
- 上記階段状縁部が、約0.05mm〜少なくとも約0.2mmの範囲内の高さを有することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の折り畳み式眼内レンズ。
- 上記階段状縁部が、約0.2mm〜約0.5mmの範囲内の高さを有することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の折り畳み式眼内レンズ。
- 折り畳み式眼内レンズであって、
光学領域と、該光学領域を全体に取り囲む周辺領域とを伴う光学体であって、前面と、該前面に実質的に対向する後面と、光学体縁部と、光軸とを有する光学体と、
該周辺領域と一体として形成されたハプティックであって、
末端部後面と基端部後面と、
該基端部後面と該末端部後面との境界に配置された階段状縁部と、
該光学体縁部と該階段状縁部との間に配置された側面縁部とを含み、かつ該基端部後面と該光学体の該後面とが連続面を形成している少なくとも一つのハプティックと、
該光学体縁部、該側面縁部および該階段状縁部と、該連続面との交差により形成された縁部の角部と、を含みかつ、該末端部後面が光軸に垂直であることを特徴とする折り畳み式眼内レンズ。 - さらに上記ハプティックが、光軸に垂直な前面を含むことを特徴とする請求項26に記載の折り畳み式眼内レンズ。
- 折り畳み式眼内レンズの製造方法であって、
光学領域と該光学領域を全体に取り囲む周辺領域とを伴う光学体であって、前面と、該前面に実質的に対向する後面と、光学体縁部と、光軸とを有し、該前面が中心面と、周辺面と、該中心面と該周辺面との間で、かつ該周辺面より後方に配置された窪んだ環状面とを含む光学体を与える工程と、
該周辺領域において、末端部後面と、基端部後面と、該基端部後面と該末端部後面との境界に配置された階段状縁部とを含む少なくとも一つのハプティックを一体的に形成する工程と、
該光学体縁部と該階段状縁部との間に配置された側面縁部を形成する工程と、
該基端部後面と該光学体の該後面とが、連続面となるように形成する工程と、
該光学体縁部、該側面縁部および該階段状縁部と、該連続面との交差を含む縁部の角部を形成する工程と、を含むことを特徴とする折り畳み式眼内レンズの製造方法。 - 上記末端部後面が、実質的に光軸に垂直であることを特徴とする請求項28に記載の製造方法。
- 折り畳み式眼内レンズであって、
光学領域と該光学領域を全体に取り囲む周辺領域とを伴う光学体であって、前面と、該前面に実質的に対向する後面と、光学体縁部と、光軸とを有し、該前面が中心面と、周辺面と、該中心面と該周辺面との間で、かつ該周辺面より後方に配置された窪んだ環状面とを含む光学体と、
光軸を通る平面に形成された断面プロファイルであって、該窪んだ環状面および該周辺面と該平面との交差する部分を含み、連続し、滑らかで、不連続点フリーである断面プロファイルと、を含むことを特徴とする折り畳み式眼内レンズ。 - さらに、断面プロファイルが、光学体縁部を含むことを特徴とする請求項30に記載の折り畳み式眼内レンズ。
- 上記断面プロファイルが、複数の弓形の部分よりなることを特徴とする請求項30に記載の折り畳み式眼内レンズ。
- 上記断面プロファイルの少なくとも一部分が、上記光軸に平行な直線に対し、鋭角を有して配置されたことを特徴とする請求項30に記載の折畳み式眼内レンズ。
