Description
Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1.眼内に移植される眼内レンズであって: 光学的軸及び周縁を有する光学的領域と、上記光学的領域の境界を定める外縁 領域とを含む光学要素であって、上記外縁領域は上記光学的領域の上記外縁の軸 方向最大厚みよりも大きな軸方向最大厚みを有するとともに、上記光学要素が通 常の光学的状態から、上記眼内レンズが切り口を介して眼内に挿入されることを 許容する変形挿入状態に弾性的に変形されることのできるように構成された光学 要素; 上記外縁領域に結合され、上記光学要素を眼内に保持するために上記外縁領域 から外方に延びる1又は複数の固定メンバー: から構成される眼内レンズ。 2.上記光学的領域の上記外縁は実質的に一定の厚みを有する請求項1記載 の眼内レンズ。 3.上記光学的領域は上記1又は複数の固定メンバーからフリーである請求 項1記載の眼内レンズ。 4.上記変形挿入状態は上記眼内レンズが約3.0mmを超えない大きさの 強膜トンネル状切り口を通過されることを許容するようになっている請求項1記 載の眼内レンズ。 5.上記1又は複数の固定メンバーは上記光学要素に対して概ね接線方向に 延びる基端部分を有する請求項1記載の眼内レンズ。 6.上記光学的領域は光学的に透明な材料で形成され、上記外縁領域は光学 的に同じ透明材料で製造された外縁領域を有する実質的に同一の眼内レンズに比 して眩しさを減少させるように構成されている請求項1記載の眼内レンズ。 7.上記外縁領域は少なくとも部分的に粗くなっている請求項1記載の眼内 レンズ。 8.上記光学的領域及び上記外縁領域は同じ材料で製造されている請求項1 記載の眼内レンズ。 9.上記光学要素はシリコンベース材料で形成されている請求項1記載の眼 内レンズ。 10.上記光学的領域が少なくとも約20ジオプトリ強度を有し、上記光学 要素が約5.8平方mmを超えない最大断面積を有し、上記光学的領域少なくと も約1.40の屈折率を有する請求項1記載の眼内レンズ。 11.上記光学的領域が上記光学的軸に沿って約0.65mm以上の厚みを 有し、上記軸方向における上記外縁領域の最大厚みが約0.305以上である請 求項10記載の眼内レンズ。 12.眼内に移植される眼内レンズであって: 光学要素が通常の光学的状態から、上記眼内レンズが切り口を介して眼内に挿 入されることを許容する変形挿入状態に弾性的に変形されることのできるように 構成され、上記光学要素が光学的軸と、上記光学要素の境界を定めるとともに上 記光学的領域に比して減少された光学的パワーを有する外縁領域とを含む光学要 素; 上記外縁領域に結合され、上記外縁領域から外方に延びて上記光学的領域が1 又は複数の固定メンバーからフリーであるようにしてなる1又は複数の固定メン バー: から構成される眼内レンズ。 13.上記外縁領域はその光学的パワーが実質的に非効果的である請求項1 2記載の眼内レンズ。 14.上記変形挿入状態は上記眼内レンズが約3.2mmを超えない大きさ の強膜トンネル状切り口を通過されることを許容するようになっている請求項1 2記載の眼内レンズ。 15.上記変形挿入状態は上記眼内レンズが約3.0mmを超えない大きさ の強膜トンネル状切り口を通過されることを許容するようになっている請求項1 2記載の眼内レンズ。 16.上記1又は複数の固定メンバーは各々上記光学要素に対して概ね接線 方向に延びる基端部分を有するフィラメントから構成される請求項12記載の眼 内レンズ。 17.上記光学的領域は光学的に透明な材料で形成され、上記外縁領域は光 学的に同じ透明材料で製造された外縁領域を有する実質的に同一の眼内レンズに 比し、眩しさを減少させるように構成されている請求項12記載の眼内レンズ。 18.上記外縁領域は少なくとも部分的に粗くなっている請求項12記載の 眼内レンズ。 19.上記光学的領域が少なくとも約20ジオプトリ強度を有し、上記光学 要素が約5.8平方mmを超えない最大断面積を有し、上記光学的領域少なくと も約1.40の屈折率を有する請求項12記載の眼内レンズ。 20.上記光学要素がシリコンベース材料で形成されている請求項12記載 の眼内レンズ。
