Abstract
【解決手段】注液孔16から電池ケース6内に電解液を注入したのちに、注液孔16を封止栓17で塞いで封止栓17を注液孔16の周辺部に溶接することで、注液孔16が封口される。封止栓17は、アルミニウム層25とニッケル層26とを上下に接合したクラッド材で形成されており、アルミニウム層25が、電池ケース6側に配されているとともに、アルミニウム層25の周縁部25aが、ニッケル層26の周縁よりも封止栓17の外側に突出していて、レーザで注液孔16の周辺部に溶接されている。

Claims (6)
- 電池ケースに設けた注液孔から前記電池ケース内に電解液を注入したのちに、前記注液孔を封止体で塞いで前記封止体を前記注液孔の周辺部に溶接することで、前記注液孔が封口されている密閉型電池において、
前記封止体は、アルミニウムやアルミニウム合金で形成されたアルミニウム層と、前記アルミニウムとは異なる金属あるいはその金属合金で形成された異種金属層とを上下に接合したクラッド材で形成されており、
前記アルミニウム層が、前記電池ケース側に配されているとともに、前記アルミニウム層の周縁部が、前記異種金属層の周縁よりも前記封止体の外側に突出しており、
前記アルミニウム層の周縁部が、前記注液孔の周辺部に溶接されていることを特徴とする密閉型電池。 - 前記封止体は、前記注液孔の周辺部に溶接される頭部と、前記頭部の下面から下向きに突出する軸部とを有しており、
前記封止体の軸部が、前記注液孔に挿入されており、
前記封止体の頭部が、前記アルミニウム層の上側に前記異種金属層を接合した前記クラッド材で形成されている請求項1記載の密閉型電池。 - 前記アルミニウム層の周縁部が、0.1mm以上の突出寸法分だけ前記異種金属層の周縁よりも前記封止体の外側に突出している請求項1又は2記載の密閉型電池。
- 前記電池ケースは、少なくとも外面側がアルミニウムやアルミニウム合金で形成されている請求項1又は2又は3記載の密閉型電池。
- 前記封止体の軸部が、前記頭部の前記アルミニウム層と一体形成されている請求項2又は3又は4記載の密閉型電池。
- 前記アルミニウム層の周縁部が、前記注液孔の周辺部にレーザで溶接されている請求項1又は2又は3又は4又は5記載の密閉型電池。
