Abstract
【解決手段】Y2O3及びGd2O3から選ばれた少なくとも1種を母体とし、この母体に、付活剤金属として、母体構成金属と付活剤金属との総モル数基準で0.3〜1.5モル%のTm、0.3〜1.5モル%のBi及び5〜20モル%のZnを添加してなる。Y及びGdの無機塩から選ばれた少なくとも1種の無機塩と、Tm、Bi及びZnの無機塩と、有機酸とを溶媒に溶解又は分散せしめた後、焼成する。前記ナノ粒子蛍光体を含んだ発光素子。

Claims (14)
- Y2O3及びGd2O3から選ばれた少なくとも1種の酸化物を母体とし、この母体にTm、Bi及びZnからなる付活剤金属を添加してなることを特徴とする蛍光体。
- 前記Tmの添加量が、前記母体の構成金属と付活剤金属との総モル数基準で0.3〜1.5モル%であることを特徴とする請求項1記載の蛍光体。
- 前記Biの添加量が、前記母体の構成金属と付活剤金属との総モル数基準で0.3〜1.5モル%であることを特徴とする請求項1又は2記載の蛍光体。
- 前記Znの添加量が、前記母体の構成金属と付活剤金属との総モル数基準で5〜20モル%であることを特徴とする請求項1〜3のいずれか1項に記載の蛍光体。
- Yの無機塩及びGdの無機塩から選ばれた少なくとも1種の無機塩と、Tmの無機塩、Biの無機塩及びZnの無機塩と、有機酸とを溶媒に溶解又は分散せしめた後、焼成して蛍光体を作製することを特徴とする蛍光体の作製方法。
- 前記溶解又は分散せしめた後、得られた溶液又は分散液を焼成前にゲル化することを特徴とする請求項5に記載の蛍光体の作製方法。
- 前記Tmの無機塩が、Tmに換算して、前記全ての無機塩の構成金属の総モル数基準で、蛍光体中に0.3〜1.5モル%含まれるような量で添加されることを特徴とする請求項5又は6に記載の蛍光体の作製方法。
- 前記Biの無機塩が、Biに換算して、前記全ての無機塩の構成金属の総モル数基準で、蛍光体中に0.3〜1.5モル%含まれるような量で添加されることを特徴とする請求項5〜7のいずれか1項に記載の蛍光体の作製方法。
- 前記Znの無機塩が、Znに換算して、前記全ての無機塩の構成金属の総モル数基準で、蛍光体中に5〜20モル%含まれるような量で添加されることを特徴とする請求項5〜8のいずれか1項に記載の蛍光体の作製方法。
- 前記焼成が、900〜1500℃の温度で行われることを特徴とする請求項5〜9のいずれか1項に記載の蛍光体の作製方法。
- 前記有機酸が、少なくとも1種のアミノ酸であることを特徴とする請求項5〜10のいずれか1項に記載の蛍光体の作製方法。
- 前記アミノ酸が、グリシン、アスパラギン酸及びグルタミン酸から選ばれた少なくとも1種であることを特徴とする請求項11に記載の蛍光体の作製方法。
- 前記有機酸のモル数が、前記無機塩の総モル数の30〜100倍であることを特徴とする請求項5〜12のいずれか1項に記載の蛍光体の作製方法。
- 請求項1〜4のいずれか1項に記載の蛍光体又は請求項5〜13のいずれか1項に記載の作製方法により作製された蛍光体を含んでなることを特徴とする発光素子。
