Description
特許文献2は、先端カバーと後端カバーとで密閉されたカプセル容器を有し、本体の外周面と後部カバーの内周面との間に水密用のOリングを介挿すること、軟性材からなる先端カバーと本体との接着剤を、弾性変形が加わっても水密が確保できる接着剤を用いて固定することを開示する。
特許文献3は、超音波振動を付与することにより超音波発熱によって観察側カバーとカプセル本体とを一体的に溶着固定することを開示する。
図1はカプセル内視鏡の構成図を示す。カプセル内視鏡1は、第2の外装部材としての筒状カバー2と、第1の外装部材としての透明カバー3とを備える。これら筒状カバー2と透明カバー3とは、互いに嵌合して一体化した円筒状のカプセル内視鏡筐体4を形成する。
筒状カバー2は、円筒状に形成され、一端部に円形状の第1の開口部端部2aが形成され、他端部に半球部2bが形成されている。この筒状カバー2は、レーザ光吸収剤を含有する樹脂材、すなわちレーザ光を透過させない非透過樹脂部材で、かつレーザ光を吸収する熱可塑性樹脂部材により形成されている。この筒状カバー2は、レーザ光を透過させない非透過樹脂部材の種類としては、例えばポリカーボネイト(PC)、ABC樹脂(ABC)、ポリサルホン(PSU)、ポリフェニルサルホン(PPSU)、ポリフェニレンオキサイド(PPO)、ポリフェニレンサルファイド(PPS)、スチレン樹脂、ナイロン6(PA6)又はナイロン66(PA66)等のポリアミド(PA)、ポリエチレン(PE)、ポリプロピレン(PP)又はスチレンーアクリロニトリル共重合体等にカーボンブラック等の所定の着色剤を混入したものが挙げられる。なお、非透過樹脂部材は、必要に応じてガラス繊維等により機械的強度を強化してもよい。又、筒状カバー2は、色素部材が添加されている。これにより、筒状カバー2は、レーザ光の照射により溶融すると、色素部材により変色する。色素部材としては、例えばチタンホワイト、TiO2、色素(シアニン系)等が挙げられる。
すなわち、レーザ光Qは、透明カバー3の第2の開口部端部3aを透過し、熱可塑性樹脂部材により形成される筒状カバー2の第1の開口部端部2aに照射される。このレーザ光Qの照射方向は、透明カバー3に対して略垂直方向すなわちカプセル内視鏡筐体4の側面に対して略垂直方向に照射される。この場合、レーザ光Qは、カプセル内視鏡筐体4を回転させながら、又はレーザ光Qの照射方向を変えながらカプセル内視鏡筐体4の側面の全周に亘って照射される。
レーザ光Qが透明カバー3を透過し、筒状カバー2に照射されると、当該筒状カバー2の第1の開口部端部2aは、加熱溶融し、第1の開口部端部2aと第2の開口部端部3aとが熱溶着、すなわち透明カバー3と筒状カバー2とが溶着する。
保護部材18を設けたので、この保護部材18によりレーザ光Qやその散乱光を吸収することにより、これらレーザ光Qやその散乱光によりCCDイメージャ5等に影響を与えることがない。
図2はカプセル内視鏡の構成図を示す。筒状カバー2と透明カバー3とは、筒状カバー2の第1の開口部端部20と透明カバー3の第2の開口部端部21を互いに嵌合させて一体化している。第1の開口部端部20は、筒状に形成されている。第2の開口部端部21は、透明カバー3の外面側の全周に段差22を設けてなる。しかるに、筒状カバー2の第1の開口部端部20が外側で、透明カバー3の第2の開口部端部21が内側で、これら第1の開口部端部20と第2の開口部端部21とが互いに挿入し合って嵌合する。換言すれば、筒状カバー2が透明カバー3の上面に被さっている状態にある。又、筒状カバー2の第1の開口部端部20の先端部は、透明カバー3の段差22に突き当てた状態にある。
図3はカプセル内視鏡としての内視鏡先端部の構成図を示す。この内視鏡先端部30は、内視鏡のライトガイド部位である。この内視鏡先端部30は、金属製の先端構成部材31を設けている。この先端構成部材31には、照明光学系装着用の穴32が設けられている。この照明光学系装着用の穴32には、ライトガイドファイバーバンドル33が挿入固定されている。このライトガイドファイバーバンドル33は、ガラス部材により形成されている。このライトガイドファイバーバンドル33には、口金34が固着されている。この口金34は、レーザ光Qを吸収する熱可塑性樹脂部材により形成されている。
図4は内視鏡先端部の構成図を示す。カバーガラス35は、ガラス部材から形成され、可視光及びレーザ光Qを透過する。このカバーガラス35とライトガイドファイバーバンドル33との間には、レーザ吸収部材40が設けられている。このレーザ吸収部材40は、レーザ光Qを吸収する熱可塑性樹脂により形成されている。なお、カバーガラス35におけるレーザ吸収部材40と接触する面は、例えば梨地状に形成してもよい。
図5は内視鏡先端部の構成図を示す。先端構成部材31は、レーザ光Qを吸収する熱可塑性樹脂部材により形成されている。この先端構成部材31には、テーパ状開口部50が設けられている。このテーパ状開口部50は、ライトガイドファイバーバンドル33を設けた側から開口側に向かって広がるテーパ状に形成されている。このテーパ状開口部50の口径は、ライトガイドファイバーバンドル33の口径よりも大きく形成されている。
図6は電子内視鏡の挿入部先端の構成図を示す。この電子内視鏡の挿入部先端は、硬質な部材により形成された先端構成部と、この先端構成部を覆う先端絶縁カバーとにより形成されている。このうち先端構成部は、金属部材等により略円柱形状に形成されている。
この先端構成部は、第1のユニット60と第2のユニット61とを一体化した撮像ユニット62を有する。第1のユニット60は、複数の光学系で構成した前端の対物レンズ63を第1の枠体であるレンズ枠64に配設して対物ユニットを形成する。
この第2のユニット61は、第1のユニット60のレンズ枠64の後方側に外嵌する第2の枠体であるCCDホルダー69を有する。このCCDホルダー69は、撮像部65の先端面に設けられている。このCCDホルダー69をレンズ枠64に外嵌させることによって第1のユニット60と第2のユニット61とが一体化して撮像ユニット62を形成する。
上記説明は、樹脂部材71を設けた例であり、レンズ枠64をレーザ光吸収部材にすれば、樹脂部材71がなくても良い。
Claims (14)
- 可視光とレーザ光とを透過する光学樹脂材により形成された第1の外装部材と、
前記第1の外装部材と面接触するように載置され、レーザ光吸収剤を含有する樹脂材により形成された第2の外装部材とから成り、
前記第1の外装部材からレーザ光を照射して前記第2の外装部材を溶融し、前記第1の外装部材と前記第2の外装部材とをレーザ溶着により固着することを特徴とするカプセル内視鏡。 - 可視光とレーザ光とを透過する光学樹脂材により形成された第1の外装部材と、
前記第1の外装部材と面接触するように載置され、樹脂材により形成された第2の外装部材と、
前記第1の外装部材と前記第2の外装部材とが面接触する間に設けられたレーザ光吸収部材とから成り、
前記第1の外装部材からレーザ光を照射して前記レーザ光吸収部材を溶融し、前記第1の外装部材と前記第2の外装部材とをレーザ溶着により固着することを特徴とするカプセル内視鏡。 - 前記第1の外装部材と前記第2の外装部材とを固着して成るカプセル内視鏡筐体は、円筒状に形成され、
前記第1の外装部材と前記第2の外装部材との固着部は、前記カプセル内視鏡側面の全周に亘って設けられたことを特徴とする請求項1又は2記載のカプセル内視鏡。 - 前記第1の外装部材と前記第2の外装部材との固着部は、前記第1の外装部材を外側とし、前記第2の外装部材を内側として嵌合したことを特徴とする請求項1又は2記載のカプセル内視鏡。
- 前記第1の外装部材に形成された第1の開口部端部と、
前記第2の外装部材に形成された第2の開口部端部と、
を有し、
前記第1の外装部材と前記第2の外装部材との固着部は、前記第1の開口部端部内に前記第2の開口部端部を挿入して嵌合し、かつ前記第1の開口部端部と前記第2の開口部端部との境界面は、レーザ光照射による溶着によって一体的に密着固定されることを特徴とする請求項1又は2記載のカプセル内視鏡。 - 前記第1の外装部材と前記第2の外装部材との前記固着部は、前記第1の開口部端部と前記第2の開口部端部とが面接触する嵌合面と、前記第1の開口部端部と前記第2の開口部端部との突き当て面とを有し、前記嵌合面又は前記突き当て面のうち少なくとも一方に対する前記レーザ光照射により溶着してなる、
ことを特徴とする請求項5記載のカプセル内視鏡。 - 前記第2の外装部材は、熱可塑性樹脂部材により形成されたことを特徴とする請求項1又は2記載のカプセル内視鏡。
- 前記第2の外装部材は、色素部材を含有することを特徴とする請求項1又は2記載のカプセル内視鏡。
- 前記レーザ光吸収部材は、前記第1の外装部材の内壁に設けられたことを特徴とする請求項2記載のカプセル内視鏡。
- 前記レーザ光吸収部材は、前記第2の外装部材の外壁に設けられたことを特徴とする請求項2記載のカプセル内視鏡。
- 前記レーザ光は、前記第1の外装部材に対して26%以上の透過率を有することを特徴とする請求項1又は2記載のカプセル内視鏡。
- 前記第1の外装部材の端部と前記第2の外装部材の端部との嵌合部に設けられ、少なくとも前記レーザ光を吸収する保護部材を有することを特徴とする請求項1乃至3のうちいずれか1項記載のカプセル内視鏡。
- 可視光とレーザ光とを透過する光学樹脂材により形成された第1の外装部材に対して面接触するように、レーザ光吸収剤を含有する樹脂材により形成された第2の外装部材を載置し、
前記第1の外装部材からレーザ光を照射して前記第2の外装部材を溶融し、前記第1の外装部材と前記第2の外装部材とをレーザ溶着により固着する、
ことを特徴とするカプセル内視鏡の製造方法。 - 可視光とレーザ光とを透過する光学樹脂材により形成された第1の外装部材に対して面接触するように、樹脂材により形成された第2の外装部材を載置し、
前記第1の外装部材と前記第2の外装部材とが面接触する間にレーザ光吸収部材を設け、
前記第1の外装部材からレーザ光を照射して前記レーザ光吸収部材を溶融し、前記第1の外装部材と前記第2の外装部材とをレーザ溶着により固着する、
ことを特徴とするカプセル内視鏡の製造方法。
