Abstract
【解決手段】タイミングスプロケット1と相対回転可能なベーン部材3を、進角側・遅角室17,18へ油圧を選択的に給排させることにより正逆回転させて、前記スプロケットとカムシャフト2との相対回転位相を変換させる。オイルポンプ25と流路切換弁23との間の供給通路21の最小通路断面積Sよりも、流路切換弁の供給ポート30及び第1、第2ポート31,32の開口断面積S1,S2を大きく形成すると共に、流路切換弁と各進角室、遅角室との間の第1、第2油通路19,20の通路断面積S3も大きく形成して、流路切換弁から各室へ供給される作動油の流路抵抗を十分に低減する。

Description
前記進角室または遅角室へ給排する油圧を制御する流路切換弁と、
前記オイルポンプと流路切換弁との間に設けられた供給通路と、
前記流路切換弁と進角室または遅角室との間に設けられた油通路とを備え、
前記流路切換弁は、バルブボディに形成されて、前記供給通路や油通路にそれぞれ連通する複数のポートと、バルブボディの内部に摺動自在に設けられ、前記各ポートを開閉するスプール弁体とを有し、
前記供給通路が直接連通する前記供給ポートの最大開口断面積を、前記供給通路の最小通路断面積よりも大きく形成したことを特徴とする内燃機関のバルブタイミング制御装置。

Claims (4)
- オイルポンプから圧送された油圧によって駆動される被駆動機構と、
前記オイルポンプから被駆動機構へ供給される作動油圧を制御する流路切換弁と、
前記オイルポンプと流路切換弁との間に設けられた供給通路と、
前記流路切換弁と被駆動機構との間に設けられた油通路とを備え、
前記流路切換弁は、バルブボディに形成されて、前記供給通路や油通路にそれぞれ連通する複数のポートと、バルブボディの内部に摺動自在に設けられ、前記各ポートを開閉するスプール弁体とを有し、
前記供給通路が直接連通する前記供給ポートの最大開口断面積を、前記供給通路の最小通路断面積よりも大きく形成したことを特徴とする内燃機関の油圧制御装置。 - 前記油通路の通路断面積と該油通路に直接連通する前記ポートの開口面積を、前記供給通路の最小通路断面積よりもそれぞれ大きく形成したことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の内燃機関の油圧制御装置。
- 前記油通路から被駆動機構に有する各油室までの間を複数の分岐通路によって連通すると共に、該各分岐通路の合計通路断面積を、油通路と直接連通する前記ポートの最大開口断面積よりも大きく形成したことを特徴とする請求項1または2に記載の内燃機関の油圧制御装置。
- 前記被駆動機構は、機関の運転状態に応じて機関弁の開閉時期を可変にするバルブタイミング制御機構であることを特徴とする請求項1〜3のいずれかに記載の内燃機関の油圧制御装置。
