Abstract
【解決手段】スプレーガイド式の筒内直噴内燃機関1−1において、複数の気筒30a〜dの燃焼室Aと排気経路6との連通を行う排気弁をその開閉時期を可変可能な可変排気弁42とし、可変排気弁42の開閉時期を制御する可変排気弁制御部74をさらに備え、可変排気弁制御部74は、冷間始動時であって、かつ圧縮行程または膨張行程において燃料噴射弁21により燃料を噴射する際に、可変排気弁42の開時期を遅角側に制御する。

Claims (7)
- 圧縮行程または膨張行程において燃料噴射弁により燃焼室内に噴射された燃料が当該燃焼室内に吸気された吸入空気と混合し、点火プラグ近傍において混合気となる筒内直噴内燃機関において、
複数の気筒の燃焼室と排気経路との連通を行う排気弁をその開閉時期を可変可能な可変排気弁とし、前記可変排気弁の開閉時期を制御する可変排気弁制御手段をさらに備え、
前記可変排気弁制御手段は、冷間始動時であって、かつ圧縮行程または膨張行程において燃料噴射弁により燃料を噴射する際に、前記可変排気弁の開時期を遅角側に制御することを特徴とする筒内直噴内燃機関。 - 前記筒内直噴内燃機関を循環する冷却水の水温を検出する水温検出手段をさらに備え、
前記可変排気弁制御手段は、前記検出された冷却水の水温に応じて、前記排気弁の開時期の遅角量を制御することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の筒内直噴内燃機関。 - 前記可変排気弁制御手段は、前記検出された冷却水の水温が低いほど、前記排気弁の開時期の遅角量を増加させることを特徴とする請求項2に記載の筒内直噴内燃機関。
- 前記燃料噴射弁から噴射された燃料の気化度合いを予測する気化度合い予測手段をさらに備え、
前記可変排気弁制御手段は、前記予測された気化度合いに応じて、前記排気弁の開時期の遅角量を制御することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の筒内直噴内燃機関。 - 前記可変排気弁制御手段は、前記予測された気化度合いが低いほど、前記排気弁の開時期の遅角量を増加させることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の筒内直噴内燃機関。
- 前記気化度合い予測手段は、前記燃焼室内の温度、前記燃料噴射弁から噴射される燃料の温度、当該燃料噴射弁から噴射された燃料の粒径の少なくともいずれか一つに基づいて、前記燃料の気化度合いを予測することを特徴とする請求項4または5に記載の筒内直噴内燃機関。
- 前記点火プラグの点火時期を制御する点火時期制御手段をさらに備え、
前記点火時期制御手段は、前記筒内直噴内燃機関の冷間始動時であって、かつ圧縮行程または膨張行程において前記燃料噴射弁により燃料を噴射する際に、前記点火プラグの点火時期を遅角側に制御することを特徴とする請求項1〜5のいずれか1つに記載の筒内直噴内燃機関。
