Abstract
【解決手段】 本発明の温度ヒューズを使用した保護装置10は、電源12と接続されメイン電流を流す負荷14と、この負荷14の過熱を感知して作動する所定の動作温度を有する温度ヒューズ16およびこの温度ヒューズと並列に接続された電流感応ヒューズ18との保護回路20とを具備し、温度ヒューズ16を含む保護回路20は電源12と負荷14に直列接続され、温度ヒューズ16が所定の動作温度で作動直後に電流感応ヒューズ18に通電電流が流れ、それにより温度ヒューズ16の放電を阻止する。

Claims (6)
- 電源および負荷に直列接続の保護回路を設け、この保護回路は電源および/または負荷の過熱に感応して作動する所定の動作温度を有する温度ヒューズおよびこの温度ヒューズに並列接続された所定の動作電流で作動する電流感応ヒューズを具備し、前記電流感応ヒューズは前記温度ヒューズが所定の動作温度で作動した後にのみ作動することを特徴とする温度ヒューズを用いた保護装置。
- 前記電流感応ヒューズの通電電流は前記負荷のメイン電流に対して50%以内であり、前記電流感応ヒューズが作動する前記所定の動作電流は前記通電電流の2倍以上でメイン電流の100%以内に設定され、前記温度ヒューズの作動後に前記電流感応ヒューズが遮断され、それにより前記温度ヒューズの電極間に発生する放電を阻止することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の温度ヒューズを用いた保護装置。
- 前記温度ヒューズは内部抵抗が1.5mΩ/25mm以内の感温ペレット型温度ヒューズ、または内部抵抗が15mΩ/25mm以内の可溶合金型温度ヒューズであることを特徴とする請求項1または2に記載の温度ヒューズを用いた保護装置。
- 電源および負荷に直列接続した保護回路を備え、前記保護回路は過熱に感応して作動する所定の動作温度を有する温度ヒューズと所定の動作電流で作動する電流感応ヒューズとの並列回路で構成し、前記電流感応ヒューズの作動を前記温度ヒューズが前記所定の動作温度で作動した際にタイムラグさせることを特徴とする温度ヒューズを用いた保護装置。
- 前記電流感応ヒューズはタイムラグタイプ電流ヒューズまたは抵抗ヒューズであって、その内部抵抗が前記温度ヒューズの内部抵抗に比べて大きいことを特徴とする請求項4に記載の温度ヒューズを用いた保護装置。
- 前記温度ヒューズおよび前記電流感応ヒューズがそれぞれ汎用タイプヒューズであり、前記温度ヒューズの公称定格(電圧または電流)値を拡大した領域で使用可能にしたこと特徴とする請求項5に記載の温度ヒューズを用いた保護装置。
