- 前記トランスデューサは結合流体の中に封入されており、および、中立的浮力がある請求項13に記載のシステム。
- 前記膜は前記トランスデューサが被写体に直接接触することを防止する請求項16に記載のシステム。
- 前記スキャンヘッドは、少なくとも1ミクロンの精度で前記トランスデューサを位置決めする請求項12に記載のシステム。
- 超音波画像を生成するシステムであって、
少なくとも25メガヘルツ(MHz)の周波数の超音波を発生させる手段と、
前記超音波を被写体の中に送信する手段と、
前記被写体から超音波を受信する手段と、
少なくとも15フレーム/秒(fps)のリアルタイムのフレームレートと30ミクロン(μm)未満の空間分解能とを有する画像を提供するように前記超音波を処理する手段
とを備えるシステム。 - 被写体から前記超音波発生手段を隔離する手段をさらに含む請求項22に記載のシステム。
- 前記隔離手段は前記超音波発生手段を結合流体内に封入する請求項23に記載のシステム。
- 前記隔離手段はポリカーボネート、ポリエステル、アクリル、および、ポリメチルペンテンから選択される請求項24に記載のシステム。
- 前記隔離手段は、さらに、ポリエステル、ポリカーボネート、アクリル、熱可塑性エラストマー、シリコーンエラストマー、SurlynTM(登録商標)イオノマー、SurlynTM(登録商標)8940、KaptonTM(登録商標)、ポリメチルペンテン、TPXTM(登録商標)MX−002、TPXTM(登録商標)95、および、MX−004と、TeflonTM(登録商標)、MylarTM(登録商標)、ポリエチレン、ポリカーボネート、ポリプロピレン、および、ポリウレタンのフィルムとから選択される膜を含む請求項24に記載のシステム。

少なくとも25メガヘルツ(MHz)の周波数の超音波を被写体の中に送信するステップと、
前記被写体から超音波を受信するステップと、
少なくとも15フレーム/秒(fps)のリアルタイムのフレームレートと30ミクロン(μm)未満の空間分解能とを有する画像を提供するように、前記受信された超音波を処理するステップと、
を含むことを特徴とする方法。
