Abstract
【解決手段】 ランプ1aとパラボラ形状の金属リフレクタ1bとからなる光源1からの光をコールドミラー2で折り曲げ、フライアイインテグレータ3、4経て光変調素子10B、10G、10Rに与え、この光変調素子で変調された変調光を投写レンズ20で拡大投写する投写型表示装置において、コールドミラー2をファン32からの冷却風で冷却するとともに、コールドミラー2を透過した紫外線及び赤外線をキャビネット30の外に放出し、紫外線及び赤外線がランプ1a側へ再帰反射することを防止する。

Claims (6)
- ランプとパラボラ形状のリフレクタとからなる光源からの光をミラーで折り曲げ、フライアイインテグレータを経て光変調素子に与え、この光変調素子で変調された変調光を投写レンズで拡大投写する投写型表示装置において、前記リフレクタは金属リフレクタで構成され、前記光源から可視光、紫外線、赤外線を含む光が与えられるミラーを冷却する手段を設けるともに、前記光源からの光から紫外線及び赤外線を除去する紫外線及び赤外線除去手段を備え、除去した紫外線及び赤外線のランプ側への再帰反射を防止するように、前記紫外線及び赤外線除去手段を配置したことを特徴とする投写型表示装置。
- 前記ミラーは青板ガラスで形成され、前記ミラー設置面上下に通風口を設け、ミラー面に沿って冷却風を案内し、ミラー面を冷却することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の投写型表示装置。
- 前記ミラーの背面にミラーの温度分布を考慮して形成されたヒートシンクが設けられていることを特徴とする請求項1又は2に記載の投写型表示装置。
- 前記ミラーとしてコールドミラーを用い、このコールドミラーを透過した紫外線及び赤外線を光路外に放出するように構成したことを特徴とする請求項1ないし3に記載の投写型表示装置。
- 前記ミラーは全反射ミラーであり、前記フライアイインテグレータ間に紫外線及び赤外線カットフィルタを光路に対して傾斜させて配置し、前記紫外線及び赤外線カットフィルタで反射された紫外線及び赤外線を光路外に放出するように構成したことを特徴とする請求項1ないし3に記載の投写型表示装置。
- 前記ミラーは全反射ミラーであり、前記フライアイインテグレータの前記ミラーに対向するレンズ面に紫外線及び赤外線カットの膜を被覆し、ランプ側への紫外線及び赤外線の反射光を拡散させるとを特徴とする請求項1ないし3に記載の投写型表示装置。
