Abstract
【解決手段】 断面略U字条のU字芯材5は合成樹脂によって押出し成形され、該U字芯材は走行しながら切削機に進入し、該切削機の刃形部10を設けた相対する回転体9が回転することによって該U字芯材に切込部17または切込凹部を形成することを特徴としている。

Description
そして、この金属製芯材の製造法としては、断面が平板状の状態で各種形状の切除孔が打ち抜きされ、その後、切除孔の平板芯材を押出し成形によって合成樹脂又はゴム等の材料を以って平板芯材の表裏に被覆層を形成し、その後に断面略U字条に機械によって折り曲げ加工され製造されている現状である。
しかしながら、合成樹脂製芯材を金属製芯材と同様に平板から製造すると、断面略U字条に折り曲げることが非常に困難であると云う問題点がある。
従って、予め断面略U字条の合成樹脂芯材を押出し成形したものを各種の形状の上下に作動するプレス型機械で切除するものでは、速度が遅いので大変に生産効率が悪いと云う問題点もある。
そして、相対する刃形部を設けた回転体をを回転させることで、上下に作動するプレス型機械より切込を速く形成し、回転体の刃形部だけを交換することによって切込部または切込凹部の幅を細い幅や広い幅に簡単に調整でき、回転体の回転速度を変えることで、切込部等の間隔を連続または不連続に形成し、相対する回転体の回転のタイミングをずらすことで、切込部等の位置を相対または互い違いに形成できる効果がある。
更に、回転体を互い違いの位置に設置することで、相対する刃形部が回転時に衝突することなくU字芯材の頭部中央まで切込むことが可能になり、U字芯材が中空金型の内部を通過後または通過中に切込部または切込凹部を安定した形状に形成できる効果がある。
また、図5の如く相対する回転体(9)(9)の間に中空金型(3)を設け、該U字芯材(5)が図6、図7の該中空金型(3)の内部を通過後または図8の如く該中空金型(3)を通過中に回転する回転体(9)の刃形部(10)によって切込部(17)または切込凹部(18)を形成するものである。
そして、前記のように切削加工された該U字芯材(5)は図16の成形工程によって図15に示す如く、軟質合成樹脂よりなる被覆層(28)が熱融着され成形品(30)として各種の開口縁の端縁に挟持して使用するものである。
次に、該回転軸(8)の各々の他方には、伝動部材のベルト(13)を架設する回転ローラー(12)(12)を設け、該回転ローラー(12)(12)の対応位置には、該ベルト(13)を架設する回転ローラー(12)を装設し、その該回転ローラー(12)には、該ベルト(13)を回転するための動力部のモーター(11)に連結してある。また、図8に示すものは、他の実施例を示すもので、該モーター(11)の回転軸(8)に刃形部(10)を設けた回転体(9)を直結する他の例である。
更に、被覆層(28)を形成する軟質合成樹脂としては、硬さHDA90(JIS K7215)以下のオレフィン系熱可塑性エラストマー、スチレン系熱可塑性エラストマー等の軟質合成樹脂が使用される。

Claims (5)
- 押出し成形機によって合成樹脂製よりなる断面略U字条のU字芯材が押出し成形され、その後該U字芯材は走行しながら切削機に進行し、該切削機に相対する支持台を有し、該支持台には、回転軸の端部に刃形部を設けた回転体を相対する所定の位置に設置した後、相対する該支持台の間を走行する該U字芯材に対して該回転体を該刃形部と共に回転させて該U字芯材に切込部又は切込凹部を連続して切削形成することを特徴とする合成樹脂芯材の製造方法。
- 請求項1における刃形部を設けた相対する回転体を互い違いの位置に設置し、該U字芯材に対して切込部または切込凹部を連続的に互い違いに切削形成することを特徴とする請求項1記載の合成樹脂芯材の製造方法。
- 請求項1における支持台の間に介在挟持される中空金型を位置し、該U字芯材が該中空金型の内部を通過後に回転軸に設けた刃形部を設けた回転体を回転させることによって該刃形部によって該U字芯材の両側から切込部または切込凹部を切削形成することを特徴とした請求項1及び2記載の合成樹脂芯材の製造方法。
- 請求項3における中空金型に相対応する切除溝を各々設け、該U字芯材が該中空金型の内部を通過中に該切除溝の内部で該回転体に設けた刃形部によってU字芯材に切込部または切込凹部を切削形成したことを特徴とした請求項3記載の合成樹脂芯材の製造方法。
- U字芯材に相対して形成した切込部または切込凹部の切削位置を所定間隔を設けて不連続に切削形成することを特徴とする請求項1、2、3又は4記載の合成樹脂芯材の製造方法。
