Abstract
【解決手段】ディファレンシャル装置のリングギヤ2と噛合うピニオンギヤ3を有するピニオン軸5を回転支持する転がり軸受(4,6)を備え、潤滑オイルが、リングギヤ2の回転によるはねかけにより、転がり軸受6のテール側開口部より内部に流入し、ピニオンギヤ3側開口部より流出する車両用ピニオン軸支持装置において、転がり軸受6のピニオンギヤ側開口部直近に、軸方向に延設するはねかけオイル遮蔽板7を設ける。或いは、前記はねかけオイル遮蔽板7の径方向外側直近に、径方向に延設するはねかけオイル反射板8を設ける。更に、前記はねかけオイル遮蔽板7の代わりにはねかけオイル反射ブロックを設ける。

Description
ピニオンギヤ側転がり軸受のピニオンギヤ側開口部直近に、軸方向に延設するはねかけオイル遮蔽板を設けることを特徴とする。
前記ピニオンギヤ側(ヘッド側)の円錐ころ軸受6の外輪6aは、ケース1内側のボス部1b(或いはケース1内壁)に固定され、撹拌された潤滑オイルは、ケース1の内部の空間12を通過してテール側の円錐ころ軸受4とピニオンギヤの円錐ころ軸受6の間に流入し、該円錐ころ軸受6の内輪6bの小端側開口部より流入して大端側開口部から排出される。即ち、この車両用ピニオン軸支持装置は、内輪6bのテール側の開口部側より潤滑オイルが流入し、内輪6bの大端部側(ピニオンギヤ側)の開口部から流出する条件で使用される場合に適用される。前記円錐ころ軸受6の外輪6aを嵌合固定するケース1の内側のボス部1bのピニオンギヤ3側の開口部直近に、軸方向に延設するはねかけオイル遮蔽板7が設けてある。この遮蔽板7は、ケース1内側のボス部1bと一体に形成してもよい。

Claims (3)
- リングギヤと噛合うピニオンギヤを有するピニオン軸のヘッド ギヤ側とテール側をそれぞれ回転支持する転がり軸受を備え、ケース内に貯留される潤滑オイルが、リングギヤの回転によるはねかけにより、ピニオンギヤ側の転がり軸受のテール側開口部よりこの転がり軸受内部に流入し、ピニオンギヤ側開口部より流出する車両用ピニオン軸支持装置において、
ピニオンギヤ側転がり軸受のピニオンギヤ側開口部直近に、軸方向に延設するはねかけオイル遮蔽板を設けることを特徴とする車両用ピニオン軸支持装置。 - 前記はねかけオイル遮蔽板の径方向外側直近に、径方向に延設するはねかけオイル反射板を設けることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の車両用ピニオン軸支持装置。
- ケース内壁或いはケースボス部に、前記ピニオンギヤ側開口部の転がり軸受の軸受外輪外周面より軸方向に延びる円筒面と該円筒面に対して径外方に平面を有するはねかけオイル反射ブロックを設けることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の車両用ピニオン軸支持装置。
