Claims (15)
- 基端および先端を有する可撓性の長さの長いカテーテル本体と、前記基端および先端を有するカテーテル本体の先端における可撓性の先端部と、前記カテーテル本体および先端部を通って長手方向へ延びる第一内腔とを備えており、該第一内腔は前記先端部の先端において開口しており、前記カテーテル本体および先端部を通って長手方向へ延びる第二内腔を備えており、該第二内腔は前記カテーテル本体の軸線からずれており、前記第二内腔に配置されると共に前記カテーテル本体の長さで延びる曲がることが可能であるが圧縮されないコイルスプリングを備えており、該コイルスプリングは前記カテーテル本体の基端および先端において前記カテーテル本体へ固着されており、前記コイルスプリングを通ってコイルスプリングに摺動可能に配置されると共に前記先端部の第二内腔の部分へ延びる長さの長い引張りワイヤを備えており、該引張りワイヤは前記先端部の先端に固着された先端と、前記カテーテル本体の基端において制御ハンドルへ固着された基端とを有し、前記カテーテル本体およびコイルスプリングに対して引張りワイヤを長手方向へ動かして前記先端部を偏向するために、前記カテーテル本体の基端に設けられた制御ハンドルを具備することを特徴とする操縦可能な開口内腔型のカテーテル。
- 前記カテーテル本体の外径が約0.254cm(約0.1インチ)よりも大きくないことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の操縦可能なカテーテル。
- 前記第一内腔の直径が少なくとも約0.075cm(約0.03インチ)であることを特徴とする請求項2に記載の操縦可能なカテーテル。
- 前記第一内腔の直径が少なくとも約0.127cm(約0.05インチ)であることを特徴とする請求項2に記載の操縦可能なカテーテル。
- 前記カテーテルの先端部に配置された前記引張りワイヤの一部に対し包囲するように可撓性を有する圧縮可能で滑らかなスリーブを更に具備することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の操縦可能なカテーテル。
- 前記スリーブはポリテトラフルオロエチレンからなることを特徴とする請求項5に記載の操縦可能なカテーテル。
- 前記コイルスプリングが前記引張りワイヤに対し包囲するように前記カテーテルの先端部へ延び、該先端部におけるコイルスプリングの部分は曲がることが可能であると共に圧縮されることが可能であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の操縦可能なカテーテル。
- 前記カテーテル本体および先端部を通って延びる第三内腔と、前記先端部に保持された少なくとも一つの電極と、各電極へ取り付けられた電極リード線とを具備しており、該電極リード線は前記第三内腔を通って前記カテーテル本体の基端へと延びることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の操縦可能なカテーテル。
- 前記カテーテル本体の基端に隣接して分離付属部品を具備し、該分離付属部品は管状の側部アームを具備し、前記第一内腔は該側部アームの内部へ分岐することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の操縦可能なカテーテル。
- 前記カテーテル本体と先端部とが一体の押出成形品であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の操縦可能なカテーテル。
- 基端および先端を有する可撓性の長さの長いカテーテル本体と、前記基端および先端を有するカテーテル本体の先端における可撓性の先端部と、前記カテーテル本体および先端部を通って長手方向へ延びる第一内腔とを備えており、該第一内腔は前記先端部の先端において開口しており、前記カテーテル本体および先端部を通って長手方向へ延びる第二内腔を備えており、該第二内腔は前記カテーテル本体の軸線からずれており、前記第二内腔に配置されると共に前記カテーテル本体の長さで延びるコイルスプリングを備えており、前記コイルスプリングは前記カテーテル本体の基端および先端において前記カテーテル本体へ固着されており、該コイルスプリングは曲がることが可能であるが圧縮はされず、前記コイルスプリング内に摺動可能に配置されると共に前記コイルスプリングを通って延びる長さの長い引張りワイヤを備えており、前記引張りワイヤは前記先端部の先端に固着された先端と、前記カテーテル本体の基端において制御ハンドルへ固着された基端とを有し、前記カテーテル本体および先端部を通って延びる第三内腔と、前記カテーテル本体およびコイルスプリングとに対して長手方向へ前記引張りワイヤを動かすために、前記カテーテル本体の基端に取り付けられた制御ハンドルと、前記先端部に保持された少なくとも一つの電極と、前記先端部に保持された各電極へ取り付けられた電極リード線とを備えており、各電極リード線は前記第三内腔を通ってカテーテル本体の基端へと延びることを特徴とする操縦可能な開口内腔型の電極付きカテーテル。
- 前記カテーテル本体の外径が約0.254cm(約0.1インチ)よりも大きくないことを特徴とする請求項11に記載の操縦可能なカテーテル。
- 前記第一内腔の直径が少なくとも約0.075cm(約0.03インチ)であることを特徴とする請求項12に記載の操縦可能なカテーテル。
- 前記第一内腔の直径が少なくとも約0.127cm(約0.05インチ)であることを特徴とする請求項12に記載の操縦可能なカテーテル。
- 前記カテーテル本体の基端に隣接して分離付属部品を具備し、該分離付属部品は管状の側部アームを具備し、前記第一内腔は該側部アームの内部へ分岐することを特徴とする請求項11に記載の操縦可能なカテーテル。
