Abstract
【解決手段】上記カテーテルはこのカテーテル本体部分の先端部において、少なくとも2個の突起部を有するマッピング組立体が取り付けられており、各突起部は上記カテーテル本体部分の先端部に取り付けられている基端部および自由な先端部を有している。さらに、各突起部は少なくとも1個の電極、好ましくは、先端電極および少なくとも1個のリング状電極を有している。灌注チューブが上記カテーテル本体部分の中に延在している。使用時において、各突起部からの少なくとも1個の電極が心臓の電気的活性をマッピングするためにその心臓組織に接触して位置決めされる。

Description
(1)前記各突起部が当該突起部の先端部またはその近くに取り付けられている先端電極を有している請求項1に記載のカテーテル。
(2)前記各突起部がさらに少なくとも一つの位置センサーを有している請求項1に記載のカテーテル。
(3)前記位置センサーが、少なくとも部分的には、前記各突起部の先端電極の中に取り付けられている実施態様(2)に記載のカテーテル。
(4)前記位置センサーが前記各突起部の先端部またはその近くに取り付けられている実施態様(2)に記載のカテーテル。
(5)前記各突起部が、先端電極および少なくとも一つのリング状電極を有している請求項1に記載のカテーテル。
(7)前記各突起部は、形状記憶部が内部に配置された支持アームを持つ非導電性のカバーを有している請求項1に記載のカテーテル。
(8)前記各支持アームがニチノールを含む実施態様(7)に記載のカテーテル。
(9)前記マッピング組立体が、前記各突起部が前記カテーテル本体部分から半径方向の外方に延出する拡張状態の配置と、前記各突起部が前記カテーテル本体部分の長手軸に概ね沿って位置するつぶれた状態の配置と、の間において移動可能である、請求項1に記載のカテーテル。
(10)前記マッピング組立体がその拡張状態の配置である時には、前記各突起部が前記カテーテル本体部分から半径方向の外方に延出し湾曲状の形状をなす実施態様(9)に記載のカテーテル。
(12)前記各突起部が前記カテーテル本体部分の長手軸に対してほぼ垂直である実施態様(11)に記載のカテーテル。
(13)前記カテーテルの先端部が、心臓内に位置決めされた先端部を持つ案内用シースを通して導入され、前記マッピング組立体の前記突起部がその案内用シースにより被覆される、請求項2に記載の方法。
(14)前記位置決めステップおよび前記再位置決めステップが、前記案内用シースを前記マッピング組立体に対して基端側に移動させることを含む、請求項2に記載の方法。
(15)前記各突起部が当該突起部の先端部またはその近くに取り付けられている先端電極を有している請求項2に記載の方法。
(17)前記各突起部が先端電極および少なくとも一つのリング状電極を有している請求項2に記載の方法。
(18)前記各突起部は、形状記憶部が内部に配置された支持アームを持つ非導電性のカバーを有している請求項2に記載の方法。
(19)前記各支持アームがニチノールを含む実施態様(18)に記載のカテーテル。
(20)前記カテーテルの先端部が、心臓内に位置決めされた先端部を持つ案内用シースを通して導入され、前記マッピング組立体の前記突起部がその案内用シースにより被覆される、請求項3に記載の方法。
(22)前記各突起部が当該突起部の先端部またはその近くに取り付けられている先端電極を有している請求項3に記載の方法。
(23)前記カテーテルが、前記カテーテル本体部分の中に延在し、当該カテーテル本体部分の先端部の外側に連絡している開口した先端部を有する灌注チューブをさらに備える、請求項3に記載の方法。
(24)前記各突起部が少なくとも一つの位置センサーをさらに有している、請求項3に記載の方法。
(25)前記各突起部は、形状記憶部が内部に配置された支持アームを持つ非導電性のカバーを有している、請求項3に記載の方法。

Claims (3)
- カテーテルであって、
基端部、先端部、およびこれらの間に長手方向に沿って延在している少なくとも一つの内孔部を有する細長いカテーテル本体部分と、
前記カテーテル本体部分の先端部に取り付けられており、少なくとも二つの突起部を有しているマッピング組立体であって、前記各突起部は前記カテーテル本体部分の先端部に取り付けられている基端部および自由な先端部を有しており、前記各突起部が少なくとも一つの電極を有している、マッピング組立体と、
前記カテーテル本体部分の中に延在し、当該カテーテル本体部分の先端部の外側に連絡している開口した先端部を有する灌注チューブと、を備えるカテーテル。 - 心臓の所与の領域をマッピングする方法であって、
マッピングする心臓の前記所与の領域の中に請求項1のカテーテルの先端部を導入するステップと、
各突起部からの少なくとも一つの電極が第1の複数の心臓組織に接触するように前記マッピング組立体を位置決めするステップと、
前記第1の複数の心臓組織からの電気的なデータを記録するステップと、
各突起部からの少なくとも一つの電極が第2の異なる複数の心臓組織に接触するように前記マッピング組立体を再位置決めするステップと、
前記第2の複数の心臓組織からの電気的なデータを記録するステップと、を含む方法。 - 心臓の所与の領域の中のプルキンエ線維をマッピングする方法であって、
カテーテルの先端部をマッピングする心臓の前記所与の領域に導入するステップと、
前記各突起部からの少なくとも一つの電極が第1の複数の心臓組織に接触するように前記マッピング組立体を位置決めするステップと、
前記第1の複数の心臓組織からの電気的なデータを記録するステップと、
各突起部からの少なくとも一つの電極が第2の異なる複数の心臓組織に接触するように前記マッピング組立体を再位置決めするステップと、
前記第2の複数の心臓組織からの電気的なデータを記録するステップと、を含み、
前記カテーテルが、
基端部、先端部、およびこれらの間に長手方向に沿って延在している少なくとも一つの内孔部を有する細長いカテーテル本体部分と、
前記カテーテル本体部分の先端部に取り付けられており、少なくとも二つの突起部を有しているマッピング組立体であり、前記各突起部は前記カテーテル本体部分の先端部に取り付けられている基端部および自由な先端部を有しており、前記各突起部が少なくとも一つの電極を有している、マッピング組立体と、を備える、方法。
