Abstract
【解決手段】上記主軸に同心かつ回転可能に設けられた管状補助主軸に固定された第1駆動歯車群、上記カウンタ軸上に回転可能に設けられ上記第1駆動歯車群と常時噛み合い選択的にカウンタ軸に結合される第1従動歯車群、上記主軸と管状補助主軸との動力継脱を行う第1クラッチ、上記主軸上に回転可能に設けられ選択的に主軸に結合される第2駆動歯車群、上記カウンタ軸と同心かつ回転可能に設けられた管状補助カウンタ軸に固定され上記第2駆動歯車群と常時噛み合う第2従動歯車群、及び上記カウンタ軸と管状補助カウンタ軸との動力継脱を行う第2クラッチを備えた。

Description
(1)重量の大きいクラッチの数が、2個に減ったので、軽量の多段自動変速が可能となった。
(2)奇数段歯車と偶数段歯車とを第1歯車群と第2歯車群とに分けて配置してあるので変速時にクラッチと選択結合手段とを同時に操作することが避けられ、スムーズな変速が可能となった。
(3)歯車の選択的固定がスイッチで操作される電動モータで行われ、これによって、変速、前後進切換操作が容易になった。
(4)機械式の歯車選択用手動レバーが電動モータを作動させるスイッチに置き換えられるのでハンドル周辺のレイアウトが簡潔となった。

Claims (5)
- 主軸とカウンタ軸とを備えた車両用自動変速機において、
上記主軸に同心かつ回転可能に設けられた管状補助主軸に固定された第1駆動歯車群、
上記カウンタ軸上に回転可能に設けられ上記第1駆動歯車群と常時噛み合い選択的にカウンタ軸に結合される第1従動歯車群、
上記主軸と管状補助主軸との動力継脱を行う第1クラッチ、
上記主軸上に回転可能に設けられ選択的に主軸に結合される第2駆動歯車群、
上記カウンタ軸と同心かつ回転可能に設けられた管状補助カウンタ軸に固定され上記第2駆動歯車群と常時噛み合う第2従動歯車群、及び
上記カウンタ軸と管状補助カウンタ軸との動力継脱を行う第2クラッチ
を備えたことを特徴とする車両用自動変速機。 - 上記第1駆動歯車群と第1従動歯車群とからなる第1歯車群と、
上記第2駆動歯車群と第2従動歯車群とからなる第2歯車群との、
いずれか一方を奇数段歯車群で構成し、他方を偶数段歯車群で構成したことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の車両用自動変速機。 - 上記管状補助主軸に固定された後進駆動歯車、及び
上記カウンタ軸上に回転可能に設けられ上記後進駆動歯車と中間歯車を介して常時噛み合い選択的にカウンタ軸に結合される後進従動歯車
を備えたことを特徴とする請求項1または請求項2に記載の車両用自動変速機。 - 上記主軸上に回転可能に設けられ選択的に主軸に結合される後進駆動歯車、及び
上記管状補助カウンタ軸に固定され上記後進駆動歯車に中間歯車を介して常時噛み合う後進従動歯車
を備えたことを特徴とする請求項1または請求項2に記載の車両用自動変速機。 - 上記歯車を選択的に軸に対して結合する手段は、
電動モータによって駆動されるシフタと
同シフタに駆動され軸方向へ摺動し軸に対して回転可能な歯車に継脱する手段と
を備えて構成されていることを特徴とする請求項1乃至請求項4に記載の車両用自動変速機。
