Abstract

Description
基板1内に据つけられたリフタ4は、上板3内に据つけられたチャック5へ向けて、およびそれから離れるように移動可能である。上板3は、チャック5へ向かったり、それから離れたりする枢軸運動のためにアーム7上に第1の継ぎ合わせ作業ロール6を支持している。上板3または、第1の継ぎ合わせ作業ロール6とチャック5上の缶端との間のような相対運動が第1の作業継ぎ目を作り出した後、チャック5へ向かったり、それから離れたりする運動のためにアーム9上に第2の継ぎ合わせ作業ロール8を支持している。
薄板は5182のようなアルミニウム・マグネシウム合金シート、または一方の側面上にポリエステルフィルムの層とともに3004のようなアルミニウム・マンガン合金から成るのが望ましい。所望の場合、"他の側面"上にポリプロピレンフィルムを使用してもよい。

表4は、継ぎ合わせチャック30上の、概ねに垂直な円筒状面33の長さのパラメータを示し、かつ末端のチャック壁24と仕上がった二重継ぎ目との間の位置関係も示す。温度処理によってまたは炭酸塩化生成物が発生する力は、完成した二重継ぎ目の最も強い部分の方へ向けられ、かつそれの抵抗を受けることが図8から理解されるであろう。
缶端は、もし圧力保持基準が許すならば、これらの缶端は、より剛性の環状部分内で比較的小さい中央パネルを有するのでより薄い金属から経済的に製造される。

Claims (8)
- 周縁のカバーフック(23)と、前記カバーフックの内部から垂れ下がるチャック壁(24)と、該チャック壁から半径方向内向きに延びる、外向きに凹で環状の強化ビード(25)と、前記強化ビードの内側部分(27)によって支えられた中央パネル(26)を有し、前記チャック壁(24)は、40°と60°の間の角度cで前記中央パネル(26)の外部に垂直な軸に対して傾斜し、前記強化ビード(25)の凹部の横断面の半径が0.75mm未満である缶端(22)と缶体(12)の間に二重継ぎ目を形成する装置であって、

- 前記垂直な軸に対する前記チャック壁(24)の角度が、40°と45°の間にある、請求項1または2に記載の装置。
- 前記強化ビードの外壁が、−15°と+15°の間の角度で前記缶端の前記中央パネル(26)に垂直な線に対して傾斜し、かつ前記外壁の高さh1が2.5mmまでである、請求項1から3のいずれかに記載の装置。
- 前記強化ビードが、前記凹部の半径によって連結される外側部分に平行な内側部分を有する、請求項1から4のいずれかに記載の装置。
- 周縁のカールの直径に対する前記中央パネルの直径の比が80%またはそれ未満である、請求項1から5のいずれかに記載の装置。
- 前記缶端が、熱可塑性ポリマフィルムと、シートアルミニウム合金、またはすず板もしくは電気クロム被覆鋼の薄板から製造されたものである、請求項1から6のいずれかに記載の装置。
- 前記薄板が、アルミニウム・マンガン合金シート上の0.010インチ(0.25mm)未満の厚さのポリエチレン・テラフタル酸塩フィルムを含む、請求項7に記載の装置。
