Abstract
【解決手段】送信器は、与えられた通信リンクのためのアンテナ多様化配置を決定し、送信シナリオを適用する。基地局は、遠隔局に、アンテナ多様化状況を問い合わせる。アンテナ多様化状況情報に応答して、基地局は、送信シナリオを決定し、適用する。ある実施例では、基地局は、複数のSISO移動局への合成MIMO送信を生成する。

ここで、h0,0は直接経路であり、h0,1は送信アンテナ0とユーザ端末アンテナとの間の反射経路である。さらに、h0,0と、h0,1との関連性が低いと仮定しよう。この場合、RAKE受信器は本質的に適合したフィルタであるので、平均SNR比であるγは、

送信用のデータが、個々のデータストリームとして、複合乗算器204,206に与えられる。複合乗算器204,206の各々には、独特のコードが加えられる。第1のコードc1は、乗算器204に加えられ、第2のコードc2は、乗算器206に加えられる。乗算器204では、信号dがコードc1によって拡散され、乗算器206では、信号dがコードc2によって拡散される。そして、複合乗算器204,206の各々は、送信アンテナ208,210にそれぞれ結合される。このように、信号dは、各アンテナ毎に独特の拡散コードによって拡散される。アンテナ208は、拡散データ信号の一つを送信する。一方、アンテナ210は、他の拡散データ信号を送信する。受信器212は、2つのアンテナ214,216を備えている。

(2)送信器は、MIMOチャンネル用の固有モードを計算し(後述する)、固有モードに基づいて送信される変調シンボルを決定し、この変調シンボルの線形的な前処理(フィルタリング)を行い、前処理された変調シンボルを送信する。
(3)受信器が、この線形的な送信処理の補完的な処理(例えば、空間的にマッチしたフィルタリング)を実行し、各送信チャンネル(すなわち各固有モード)に必要とされるNC個のマッチしたフィルタ計数を計算する。
完全なCSI処理は、更に、チャンネルの固有値(後述する)に基づき各送信チャンネルに対するデータ処理(例えば、適切なコーディングと変調スキームの選択)を行い、変調シンボルを導出することを伴う。

前記多様化制御装置は、移動局の多様化可能性について前記移動局に対して問い合わせを行い、前記移動局との第1の通信リンクを確立するように動作する基地局装置。 - 請求項2に記載の基地局装置において、
前記多様化制御装置は、前記移動局のアンテナ構成と、前記基地局のアンテナ構成とにしたがって前記送信シナリオを決定するように動作する基地局装置。 - 請求項3に記載の基地局装置において、
