缶材料を準備し、
0.003〜0.0005インチの側壁厚さを有する缶に前記材料を成形する、ことを特徴とする方法。 - 電池缶を製造する方法であって、

0.0025〜0.0005インチの側壁厚さを有する缶に前記材料を成形する、ことを特徴とする方法。 - 電池缶を製造する方法であって、

前記端部壁が前記円筒壁の内部に向かって変位して、凹んだ内側壁を有する凹部を形成するように、前記中空の缶円筒を逆絞り加工する段階と、
前記凹んだ内側壁の一部と前記中空の缶円筒の円筒壁の一部との間の距離を減少させる段階と、
を備える、ことを特徴とする方法。 - 前記端部壁が前記円筒壁の内部に向かって変位して、凹んだ内側壁を有する凹部を形成するように、前記中空の缶円筒を逆絞り加工する段階の間に、前記円筒壁の内部を通して前記端部壁を変位させる、ことを特徴とする請求項5に記載した方法。
- 前記端部壁が前記円筒壁の内部に向かって変位して、凹んだ内側壁を有する凹部を形成するように、前記缶円筒を逆絞り加工する段階の間に、前記内側壁の一部をテーパ加工してテーパ状内側壁を形成する、ことを特徴とする請求項5に記載した方法。
- 前記凹んだ内側壁の一部と前記中空の缶円筒の円筒壁の一部との間の距離を減少させる段階の間に、前記テーパ状内側壁におけるテーパ状部分の少なくとも一部を移動させて前記円筒壁に隣接させる、ことを特徴とする請求項5に記載した方法。
- 前記凹んだ内側壁の一部と前記中空の缶円筒の円筒壁の一部との間の距離を減少させる段階の間に、前記円筒壁の少なくとも一部を移動させて前記テーパ状内側壁のテーパ部分に接触させる、ことを特徴とする請求項5に記載した方法。
- 前記凹んだ内側壁の一部を前記缶円筒の円筒壁に接触させた後で、前記円筒壁の一部を前記円筒壁から切り取る段階を備える、ことを特徴とする請求項5に記載の方法。
