Abstract
【解決手段】送信エネルギー設定点を送信品質に適用し、それにしたがって再送信エネルギー設定点を調整することによって、パケットデータ切り替えがなされた通信システムにおける出力を制御する。ある実施例では、再送信エネルギー設定点が、再送信品質の関数として調整される。
Description
許容できるエラー確率内で信号を復元するのに十分なEb/No(干渉出力スペクトル密度に対するビットエネルギーの比)を確保するように努める。出力制御PCとは、順方向リンクFLおよび逆方向リンクRLのうちの何れか一方、または両方の送信出力を調整し、与えられたエラー基準を満足するようにする処理である。理想的には、この出力制御処理は、指定された受信器において少なくとも最小の要求Eb/Noを達成するように送信出力を調整する。更に、いかなる送信器であっても、望ましいサービス品質QOSを達成するためには、必要な最小Eb/Noを超えた使用をしないことが望ましい。これによって、出力制御処理を介してなされた一人のユーザに対する利益が、他のユーザに対し無用な損失をもたらさないことを保証する。
IPトラフィックのエラー割合を、一般的に10−2であるイーサネット(登録商標)チャンネルのエラー割合に相当する値まで減少させるリンク層プロトコルとして設計された。
Claims (13)
- 基地局装置であって、
データの送信および再送信を制御するための動作が可能なプロセッサと、
コンピュータ読み取り可能な複数の手順を格納するための動作が可能なメモリ格納デバイスとを備え、
前記手順は、
送信フレームエラー割合と再送信フレームエラー割合とを決定する第1の命令群と、
前記送信フレームエラー割合と送信品質との関数として送信エネルギー設定点を決定する第2の命令群と、
前記再送信フレームエラー割合と再送信品質との関数として再送信エネルギー設定点を決定する第3の命令群と
を備えている基地局装置。 - 請求項1に記載の基地局装置において、
前記送信品質は、受信されたエラー表示信号によって測定される基地局装置。 - 請求項1に記載の基地局装置において、
前記送信エネルギー設定点と前記再送信エネルギー設定点は、パイロットに対するトラフィックの比率として決定される基地局装置。 - 請求項1に記載の基地局装置において、
前記第3の命令群は、
前記再送信フレームエラー割合、再送信品質、および送信エネルギー設定点の関数として前記再送信エネルギー設定点を決定する基地局装置。 - 請求項4に記載の基地局装置において、
前記第3の命令群は、
前記送信エネルギー設定点にデルタ値を加算することによって前記再送信エネルギー設定点を決定する基地局装置。 - 無線通信システムにおける方法であって、
送信フレームエラー割合を達成するために送信エネルギー設定点を決定する段階と、
送信エラーの発生に基づいて前記送信エネルギー設定点を調整する段階と、
再送信フレームエラー割合を達成するために再送信エネルギー設定点を決定する段階と、
再送信エラーの発生に基づいて再送信エネルギー設定点を調整する段階と
を備えた方法。 - 請求項6に記載の方法において、
前記再送信エネルギー設定点を調整する段階は更に、前記送信エネルギー設定点の関数として前記再送信エネルギー設定点を調整する段階を備えた方法。 - 請求項6に記載の方法において、
前記再送信エネルギー設定点を調整する段階は更に、再送信のための望ましいフレームエラー割合を達成するために前記再送信エネルギー設定点を調整する段階を備えた方法。 - 請求項6に記載の方法において、
前記送信エネルギー設定点を調整する段階は更に、送信のための望ましいフレームエラー割合を達成するために送信エネルギー設定点を調整する段階を備えた方法。 - 請求項6に記載の方法において、
