Abstract

Claims (17)
- 少なくとも1つの電池と、
前記少なくとも1つの電池に結合される放電スイッチと、
関連するコードレス電力工具のトリガーの位置に応じて前記放電スイッチに制御信号を供給する監視及び制御の回路と、
を備え、
前記放電スイッチは、前記制御信号に応じて前記コードレス電力工具の負荷に与えられる放電電流を制御することを特徴とする電池パック。 - 前記負荷は、前記コードレス電力工具の要素を駆動するモーターを備え、前記モーターは、前記放電スイッチによって制御される前記放電電流を受信し、前記放電スイッチは、前記放電電流を制御することによって、前記モーターにより駆動される前記要素の速度を制御することを特徴とする請求項1記載の電池パック。
- 前記制御信号は、パルス幅変調(PWM)された信号を備え、前記放電スイッチは、前記放電電流を制御するために前記PWM信号のデューティサイクルに応じることを特徴とする請求項1記載の電池パック。
- 前記監視及び制御の回路は、前記放電電流を監視し、もし前記放電電流が最大放電電流閾値と等しいかそれより大きければ、前記放電スイッチを開けることを特徴とする請求項1記載の電池パック。
- 前記放電スイッチは、電界効果トランジスタ(FET)を備えることを特徴とする請求項1記載の電池パック。
- 負荷と、
トリガーと、
前記負荷へ電力を供給する少なくとも1つの電池を備えた電池パックと
を備え、
前記電池パックは、さらに、前記少なくとも1つの電池に結合される放電スイッチと、前記トリガーの位置に応じて、前記放電スイッチに制御信号を供給する監視及び制御の回路とを備え、前記放電スイッチは、前記制御信号に応じて、前記負荷に供給される放電電流を制御することを特徴とするコードレス電力工具。 - 前記負荷は、前記コードレス電力工具の要素を駆動するモーターを備え、前記モーターは、前記電池パックの前記放電スイッチによって制御される前記放電電流を受信し、前記放電スイッチは、前記放電電流を制御することで前記モーターにより駆動される前記要素の速度を制御することを特徴とする請求項6記載のコードレス電力工具。
- 前記トリガーの前記位置に応じて、入力信号を、前記電池パックの前記監視及び制御の回路に提供する速度選択回路を、さらに備えることを特徴とする請求項7記載のコードレス電力工具。
- 前記速度選択回路は、1つの抵抗と直列になった可変抵抗を備え、
前記可変抵抗の抵抗値は、前記トリガーの前記位置に応じて設定され、かつ前記要素の希望する速度を表し、前記1つの抵抗の抵抗値は、最大放電電流率を表すことを特徴とする請求項8記載のコードレス電力工具。 - 前記制御信号は、パルス幅変調(PWM)された信号を備え、前記放電スイッチは、前記PWM信号のデューティサイクルに応じて前記放電電流を制御することを特徴とする請求項6記載のコードレス電力工具。
- 前記監視および制御の回路は、前記放電電流を監視し、もし前記放電電流が最大放電電流閾値と等しいかそれよりも大きければ、前記放電スイッチを開くことを特徴とする請求項6記載のコードレス電力工具。
- コードレス電力工具のトリガーの位置を監視する段階と、
前記トリガーの位置に応じて電池パックの放電スイッチの状態を制御して、前記コードレス電力工具の負荷に与えられる放電電流を制御する段階と
を備えることを特徴とする方法。 - 前記負荷は、前記コードレス電力工具の要素を駆動するためのモーターを備え、前記モーターは、前記電池パックの前記放電スイッチによって制御される前記放電電流を受信し、前記放電スイッチは、前記放電電流を制御することで前記モーターにより駆動される前記要素の速度を制御することを特徴とする請求項12記載の方法。
- 前記放電電流を監視する段階と、
もし、前記放電電流が最大放電電流閾値と等しいかそれより大きければ、前記電池パックの前記放電スイッチを開ける段階と
をさらに備えることを特徴とする請求項12記載の方法。 - 一旦前記電池パックが前記コードレス電力工具に結合されると、工具識別信号を前記電池パックに提供する段階をさらに備え、前記工具識別信号は、前記コードレス電力工具に特有のデータを表すことを特徴とする請求項12記載の方法。
- 前記データは、前記コードレス電力工具の最大放電電流を備えることを特徴とする請求項15記載の方法。
- 前記データは、前記コードレス電力工具の熱的過負荷点を備えることを特徴とする請求項15記載の方法。
