Claims (4)
- 充電器並びに電動工具にそれぞれ着脱自在に装着され、充電器によって充電されるとともに電動工具に装着されたときに該電動工具に電力を供給する電池パックであって、
複数の二次電池を接続してなる組電池と、組電池の正極並びに負極とそれぞれ接続される一対の電源端子と、前記二次電池の両端電圧を個別に検出し該検出電圧が第1の所定値よりも高いときに充電器に対して充電制御信号を出力する第1の制御回路と、前記二次電池の両端電圧を個別に検出し該検出電圧が第1の所定値よりも低い第2の所定値を下回ったときに放電停止信号を出力する第2の制御回路と、前記充電制御信号並びに放電停止信号を個別に出力する信号端子とを備え、
前記第2の制御回路は、両端電圧がほぼ一定となる定電圧素子、該定電圧素子の両端電圧に応じて設定される前記第2の所定値と前記二次電池の両端電圧とを比較する複数の比較器を具備した検出回路と、充電器若しくは電動工具に装着された状態で充電器あるいは電動工具から与えられる制御信号に応じて前記検出回路に動作用電源を供給する電源制御回路とを具備し、前記定電圧素子はツェナーダイオードであり、当該ツェナーダイオードの両端間には、少なくとも2個以上の前記二次電池が電気的に接続されていることを特徴とする電動工具用の電池パック。 - 前記第2の制御回路は、検出電圧が第2の所定値を下回った時点から放電停止信号が出力されるまでの時間を遅らせる遅延回路を具備することを特徴とする請求項1記載の電動工具用の電池パック。
- 前記電源制御回路は、前記定電圧素子や比較器への電源供給経路を各別に開閉する複数のスイッチ要素を具備することを特徴とする請求項1又は2記載の電動工具用の電池パック。
- 前記電源端子と前記信号端子のグランドが分離されていることを特徴とする請求項1又は2記載の電動工具用の電池パック。
