Abstract
【解決手段】 プライマリプーリと、セカンダリプーリと、前記プライマリプーリの駆動力を前記セカンダリプーリに伝達するベルトを備えるベルト式無段変速機において、前記プライマリプーリまたは前記セカンダリプーリは回転軸と一体に回転する固定壁と、一端が開口し前記可動シーブと一体に移動する略有底円筒状の油圧シリンダにより形成されるシリンダ室を有し、少なくとも前記回転軸を軸支する軸受の一部と、前記油圧シリンダの開口側端部とを軸方向にオーバーラップするように配置した。

Description
(1)少なくとも変速機入力軸23を軸支する軸受13の一部と、油圧シリンダ42の開口側端部とを、プライマリプーリ4の溝幅が最も広い最LOW変速比において軸方向にオーバーラップするよう配置した。これにより、軸方向の短縮化を図ることが可能となり、車両搭載性の向上を図ることができる。

Claims (4)
- エンジンの駆動力を入力する回転軸を有する固定シーブと、前記回転軸上を軸方向に移動可能な可動シーブからなるプライマリプーリと、
前記回転軸と平行に配置された回転軸を有する固定シーブと前記回転軸上を軸方向に移動可能な可動シーブからなるセカンダリプーリと、
前記プライマリプーリの駆動力を前記セカンダリプーリに伝達するベルトを備えるベルト式無段変速機において、
前記プライマリプーリまたは前記セカンダリプーリは前記回転軸と一体に回転する固定壁と、一端が開口し前記可動シーブと一体に移動する略有底円筒状の油圧シリンダにより形成されるシリンダ室を有し、
少なくとも前記回転軸を軸支する軸受の一部と、前記油圧シリンダの開口側端部とを軸方向にオーバーラップするように配置したことを特徴とするベルト式無段変速機。 - 請求項1に記載のベルト式無段変速機において、
前記固定壁を、少なくとも前記回転軸から垂直径方向に延在された第1延在部と、該第1延在部の外径側端部から可動シーブ側に延在された第2延在部とから構成し、
前記軸受の外径を、前記第1延在部の外径側端部より大径としたことを特徴とするベルト式無段変速機。 - 請求項1または2に記載のベルト式無段変速機において、
前記各プーリを軸方向から覆うサイドケースと、
前記サイドケースに対し固定される係合部と前記外輪をサイドケース側に対して軸方向に支持する外輪支持部を有する支持部材を設け、
前記係合部と前記外輪支持部の軸方向位置をオフセットしたことを特徴とするベルト式無段変速機。 - 請求項1ないし3に記載のベルト式無段変速機において、
前記可動シーブの内周にボールベアリングを収装する複数の軸方向溝が設けられ、
前記可動シーブ内周と前記回転軸外周との軸方向溝のシール面のシール径と、前記軸方向溝間を結ぶ摺動面の摺動径とを略同一としたことを特徴とするベルト式無段変速機。
