Abstract
【解決手段】屈折倍率1.73≦nd≦1.82及びアッベ値43≦vd≦53をもち、かつ良好な耐薬品性及び結晶化に対する安定性を有する無鉛無砒素光学ランタンフリントガラスを下記組成によって製造する。

Description
本発明に従ったガラスは下記組成(酸化物としての重量%、以下w/w(重量/重量と略記する)から構成される。
実施例2
前記酸化物の出発原料として、好ましくは炭酸塩、硝酸塩、及び/またはフッ化物を秤量し、次いで1または2種以上の清澄剤、例えばSb2O3を添加した後十分に混合する。バッチを約1300℃において連続状の溶融凝集体に溶融し、次いで清澄(1350℃)及び均質化する。このガラスを約1220℃の鋳造温度で鋳造し、加工により望ましい寸法とする。

- 以下の組成を特徴とする、屈折能1.73≦nd≦1.82及びアッベ値43≦vd≦53をもち、かつ良好な耐薬品性及び結晶化に対する安定性を有する無鉛無砒素光学ランタンフリントガラス:
SiO2 0.1−5.5
B2O3 27−35
La2O3 42−48
−−−−−−−−−−−−−−−−−−
BaO 0−5
ZnO 0.5−5
−−−−−−−−−−−−−−−−−−
Y2O3 6−12
TiO2 0−4
ZrO2 4−10

WO3 0−5 - SiO2含量が0.1〜4.9重量%であり、かつNb2O5含量が0.5〜5重量%であることを特徴とする請求項1項記載のガラス。

WO3 0.1−2 - 望ましい熱成形処理それぞれの粘度温度分布の微調整のため、(BaO+ZnO)が総量として最大8重量%までアルカリ土金属酸化物(MgO、CaO、SrO)で置き換えられることを特徴とする請求項1〜5のいずれかに記載のガラス。
- 可融性及びイオン交換特性を向上するための、Na2O、K2O及びCs2Oの和集合から成る全アルカリ金属酸化物含量が最大で8重量%であることを特徴とする請求項1〜6のいずれかに記載のガラス。
- 以下の成分(w/w)を含む清澄剤をさらに含むことを特徴とする請求項1〜7のいずれかに記載のガラス:
Sb2O3 0−1 及び/または
SnO 0−1
NaCl 0−1
SO4 2- 0−1
F- 0−1 - 請求項1〜8のいずれかに記載のガラスから製造されるレンズ、プリズム、光ガイドロッド、光ファイバ、光学窓、光学部品、及びデジタル映写、フォトリトグラフィー、ステッパー、エキシマレーザ、ウェハー、コンピュータチップ用光学部品、及び集積回路、集積回路及びチップを内蔵する電子装置、及び遠距離通信、光通信工学、情報伝達、及び自動車分野の光学/照明機器の製造のための前記ガラスの使用。
