Abstract
【解決手段】多くの極低温装置において、例えば、磁気共鳴イメージングシステム(MRI)用超伝導コイル、超伝導変圧器、超伝導発電機、電子装置のようなコンポーネントは液化ガス(例えば、ヘリウム、ネオン、窒素、アルゴン、メタン)と接触させることにより冷却する。第1の局面において、本発明は、熱交換器チューブにフィンを設けた極低温装置内のパルスチューブ型冷凍装置PTRを提供する。この構成において、フィンまたはバッフルはヘリウム雰囲気から熱交換器への分布した熱伝達に利用可能な表面積を増加するものと考えられる。

Claims (17)
- 極低温装置内のパルスチューブ型冷凍装置(PTR)であって、PTRの熱交換器チューブにフィンが設けられているPTR装置。
- 第1の熱交換器チューブの長さの一部にわたってフィンが設けられている請求項1のPTR装置。
- 2段構成であり、第2段の熱交換器チューブにフィンが設けられている請求項1または2のPTR装置。
- 多段構成である請求項1または2のPTR装置。
- 熱交換器チューブが低温で中位の熱導電率を有する薄壁の合金で作成されている請求項1乃至4のうち任意の1項のPTR装置。
- フィンは環状フィンである請求項1乃至5のうち任意の1項のPTR装置。
- 環状フィンは熱交換器チューブの外側に沿って規則的に離隔されている請求項6のPTR装置。
- 環状フィンのサイズは一様でない請求項6のPTR装置。
- フィンは1またはそれ以上の螺旋形状のストリップシートより成る請求項1乃至5のうち任意の1項のPTR装置。
- フィンは外側に延びるプロングより成る請求項1乃至5のうち任意の1項のPTR装置。
- フィンは熱交換器チューブの周面に固着された矩形のシートより成り、これらのシートは熱交換器チューブに一方の端縁部が固着されている請求項1乃至5のうち任意の1項のPTR装置。
- 熱交換器チューブはその壁の一部を構成するフィンを画定するように波形であり、この波形は熱交換器チューブの軸に関して軸方向かまたはその垂直方向に波形である請求項1乃至5のうち任意の1項のPTR装置。
- フィンは請求項6乃至12に従うタイプの1またはそれ以上のフィンである請求項1乃至5のうち任意の1項のPTR装置。
- 1またはそれ以上のパルスチューブは断熱壁部を有する請求項1乃至13のうち任意の1項のPTR装置。
- 磁気共鳴イメージング装置に連携する請求項1乃至12のうち任意の1項のパルスチューブ型冷凍装置。
- 熱交換器チューブにフィンを設けた極低温装置内のパルスチューブ型冷凍装置(PTR)を使用する方法であって、PTR装置のチューブを取り囲む雰囲気から熱交換器チューブに連携するフィンを介して熱交換器チューブへ熱を伝達するステップより成る方法。
- 再凝縮器は磁気共鳴イメージング装置に連携している請求項16の方法。
