Abstract
【解決手段】当該方法は(a)フェニレンジアミン又はその誘導体(オゾン化防止剤)とシリカ又はケイ酸塩との反応から成る第一の反応生成物を生じさせること、及び(b)第二の反応生成物を形成するため、無水溶媒の存在下において、前記第一反応生成物を前記プリント媒体上のシリカ基と反応させること。当該オゾン化防止シリカ(又はケイ酸塩)は、媒体のシリカ粒子に共有結合的に付着し、従って逸出もしくは蒸発することがない。オゾン化防止剤としてのフェニレンジアミンの使用は、オゾン汚染による多孔質媒体上の染料の退色の問題を解決する。

Description
従って、プリント媒体上に印刷されたインクジェットイメージのオゾン化による酸化を防止することについての要求は存在する。
(a)フェニレンジアミン又はその誘導体とシリカ又はケイ酸塩との反応から成る第一の反応生成物を生成すること、及び
(b)第二の反応生成物を形成するため、無水溶媒の存在下において、第一の反応生成物をシリカ基と反応させること、から成る。
(a)フェニレンジアミン又はその誘導体とシリカ又はケイ酸塩との反応から成る第一の反応生成物を生成すること、
(b)第二の反応生成物を形成するため、無水溶媒の存在下において第一の反応生成物をシリカ基と反応させること、及び
(c)前記インクをプリント媒体上に印刷することから成る。
Claims (7)
- 反応生成物であって、(1)フェニレンジアミン又はその誘導体とシリカ又はケイ酸塩との反応から成る第一の反応生成物、及び(2)基体上のシリカ基の反応によって生じる反応性生物。
- プリント媒体上に印刷された着色剤をオゾン分解に抗して保護する方法であって、
(a)請求項1の前記第一反応生成物を生じさせること、及び
(b)第二の反応生成物を形成するため、無水溶媒の存在下において、前記第一反応生成物を前記プリント媒体上のシリカ基と反応させることからなる方法。 - さらに、前記プリント媒体上にインクを印刷することを含み、当該インクは少なくとも1つの着色剤を含有する請求項4に記載の方法。
- 前記着色剤が染料もしくは顔料である請求項4又は5に記載の方法。
- 前記プリント媒体は、シリカを含有する少なくとも1つのコーティング層を備えた普通紙からなる請求項4又は5に記載の方法。
