【特許請求の範囲】
【請求項１】 スロットを備えたポッドドアを保持するシステムであって、
正面を持つポードドアであって、このポードドアの正面が平面で形成されている上記ポードドアと、
このポートドア内に搭載されるラッチキーアセンブリと、を有し、
上記ラッチキーアセンブリが、上記ポッドドアのスロットに対応する形状のラッチキーを備え、上記ラッチキーアセンブリが、さらに、ポッドドアをポートドアに結合するために上記平面と実質的に直交する軸の回りにラッチキーを回転させ且つポッドドアをポートドアに密着保持させるために上記軸に沿った方向にラッチキーを移動させる機構を備えていることを特徴とするシステム。
【請求項２】 更に、上記ポートドアの正面から延び且つ上記ラッチキーと実質的に平行である第２のラッチキーアセンブリを有する請求項１記載のシステム。
【請求項３】 上記第２のラッチキーアセンブリは、上記ポッドドアの第２のスロットに対応する形状の第２のラッチキーを備え、上記第２のラッチキーアセンブリが、さらに、ポッドドアをポートドアに結合するために上記平面と実質的に直交する軸の回りに第２のラッチキーを回転させ且つポッドドアをポートドアに密着保持させるために上記軸に沿った方向に第２のラッチキーを移動させる第２の機構を備えている請求項２記載のシステム。
【請求項４】 上記機構及び上記第２の機構は、単一の駆動機構を備えている請求項３記載のシステム。
