(57)【要約】 【課題】 通常は継手本体内にストッパーを装着してス
トッパー付き継手として樹脂管挿入時の押し力でも簡単
に外れることなく挿入量を適正に規制し、配管施工現場
での施工状況に必要に応じて作業者がストッパーを容易
に外すことも可能で、突き合わせ配管も容易に行うこと
ができる樹脂管接続用継手を提供する。 【解決手段】 接続樹脂管の端部外面を差し込んで接続
する円筒状に形成された継手本体10と、前記継手本体
の樹脂管15を受け入れる内周部に嵌入可能に形成さ
れ、樹脂管の端面に当接して管の差し込み深さが規制さ
れる樹脂製のストッパー20とからなり、該ストッパー
は、前記継手本体の内周面に環状凹溝16を形成し、該
環状凹溝に嵌合する円周上複数箇所に突出する嵌合突部
22と、樹脂管の端面に当接する環状部21と、該環状
部の一方の側面に設けた軸直角方向の折り曲げ溝23と
からなることを特徴とする樹脂管接続用継手である。

【発明の詳細な説明】
【0001】
【発明の属する技術分野】本発明は樹脂管接続用継手に
関し、特に樹脂管を継手本体内に差し込む際の差し込み
深さを規制するストッパーに関するものである。

【従来の技術】従来、図4で示す特開平8−27087
3号の図1で開示された、熱可塑性樹脂製継手本体の内
周面に電熱線が埋設され、中央部に熱可塑性樹脂管の差
し込み長さを規制するストッパーを継手本体と一体で形
成した電気融着継手がある。また別の例として、例えば
図5で示す同じく特開平8−270873号の図5で開
示された、継手本体内に環状溝を設けて別体のストッパ
ーの役目をするコア部材を嵌合装着した電気融着継手も
見られる。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】上記従来技術の内前者
では、継手本体とストッパーが一体であり、樹脂管と接
続作業時において、ストッパーをなしにすることが出来
ない。また上記従来技術の内後者では、継手本体内の環
状溝に別体のコア部材を嵌合してあり、この例の場合も
樹脂管と接続作業時においてストッパーの役目をするコ
ア部材を取り外すことが出来ず、ストッパーなしにする
ことが出来ない。また、取付け取り外しを出来るように
嵌合部を緩くした場合は、管差し込み時の管の押圧力で
ストッパーが容易に外れてしまい、ストッパーの役目を
果たさなくなる問題がある。
【0004】従って上記従来技術では、継手本体を接続
樹脂管に挿通できないため、配管の最終接続において管
同士を突き合わせて継手接続するいわゆる突き合わせ配
管が行えない問題があった。また取り外し可能にしたも
のでは、接続作業時に管の差し込み力でストッパーが外
れてしまい、ストッパーの役目を果たさない問題があっ
た。本発明は上記の課題を解消して、通常は継手本体内
にストッパーを装着してストッパー付き継手として樹脂
管挿入時の押し圧力でも簡単に外れることなく挿入量を
適正に規制し、配管施工現場での施工状況に必要に応じ
て作業者がストッパーを容易に外すことも可能で、突き
合わせ配管も容易に行うことができる樹脂管接続用継手
を提供する。

【課題を解決するための手段】本発明の要旨は、接続樹
脂管の端部外面を差し込んで接続する円筒状に形成され
た継手本体と、前記継手本体の樹脂管を受け入れる内周
部に嵌入可能に形成され、樹脂管の端面に当接して管の
差し込み深さが規制される樹脂製のストッパーとからな
り、該ストッパーは、前記継手本体の内周面に環状凹溝
を形成し、該環状凹溝に嵌合する円周上複数箇所に突出
する嵌合突部と、樹脂管の端面に当接する環状部と、該
環状部の一方の側面に設けた折り曲げ溝とからなること
を特徴とする樹脂管接続用継手である。上記において、
前記継手本体の嵌合凹溝に前記ストッパーの嵌合突部が
嵌合すると共に、継手本体の内周面に前記ストッパーの
環状部外面が当接することを特徴とする樹脂管接続用継
手である。
【0006】上記において、前記継手本体の内周部に
は、発熱によって樹脂管と溶融着する融着部が形成され
たことを特徴とする樹脂管接続用継手である。上記にお
いて、前記継手本体の環状凹溝の深さは、約1mm程度
で、環状凹溝の幅は約2.5mm程度に設けてある。ま
た上記において、ストッパーの嵌合突部の幅より環状部
の幅を大きく設けて、管を継手内へ挿入時の差し込み力
に対する安定性を増すように設けてある。

【作用】本発明は上記の構成であって、継手本体の内周
面に形成した環状凹溝にストッパーの嵌合突部が嵌合す
る。この嵌合突部は樹脂管端面に当接する環状部の外面
に円周上複数箇所あり、全周面ではなく、また環状部の
一方の面に折り曲げ溝があるので、この環状のストッパ
ーを折り曲げ溝から折り曲げて継手本体内周面に挿入で
き、本体内周面の環状凹溝に容易に装着することが出
来、また環状凹溝に装着したストッパーの折り曲げ溝部
を押すことで環状凹溝からストッパーを容易に取り外す
ことができる。
【0008】接続作業時において、本体の環状凹溝に装
着されたストッパーに樹脂管が当接して、継手本体内へ
の管の差し込み量が規制されるが、樹脂管端部は環状に
ストッパーに当接するため、本体内から管の差し込み力
によってストッパーが外れるようなことがない。また、
環状凹溝に嵌合するストッパーの嵌合突部の幅より、環
状部の幅を大きくして本体内周面に環状部の外面を当接
させることで、より安定して本体内にストッパーが装着
される。従って通常は管の挿入量が規制されるストッパ
ー付の継手として使用され、また作業現場において、配
管の状況に応じて作業者が本体内のストッパーを取り外
すことが出来、管に継手を装通して突き合わせ配管接続
を行うことが出来る。

【発明の実施の形態】以下図面を参照しながら本発明の
実施例を詳細に説明する。図1は本発明の第1実施例を
示す樹脂管接続用電気融着チーズ継手を示し、図2は継
手本体とストッパーとの嵌合部拡大断面図で、図3はス
トッパーの正面図を示す。図1において、継手本体10
は本管部11と枝管部12からなり、本管部11は接続
する樹脂管の外周を挿通可能な円筒状内面に形成してあ
り、本管部11の両端内周面に電熱線 を埋設して接続
樹脂管との融着部としてある。本管部11の中央部から
枝管部12が分岐しており、この枝管分岐口13内を塞
がないようにストッパー20,20を設けて、本管部1
1の両端から差し込まれる樹脂管15の差し込み量を規
制している。
【0010】継手本体10とストッパー20の嵌合部を
示す図2において、継手本体10内周面には環状凹溝1
6を設けてある。この環状凹溝16の内周面14からの
深さは0.3〜1mm程度で、継手本体の肉厚寸法に影
響しない程度の深さである。また環状凹溝の幅は2〜3
mm程度である。ストッパー20は樹脂製で図2、図3
に示すように、接続樹脂管15の端部に当接する環状部
21と環状部から円周上外周面に複数箇所に突出する嵌
合突部22を有す。環状部21の外径は継手本体の内周
面にほぼ同じで、内径寸法は接続樹脂管15の内径程度
である。また嵌合突部22の幅より環状部21の幅を大
きくしてあり、環状部21の外周面が継手本体内周面1
4に当接して嵌合されている。
【0011】また環状部21の一方側面に深さ約1.0
mm程度の折り曲げ溝23を設けてある。この折り曲げ
溝23によって環状の樹脂製ストッパー20は容易に折
り曲げることが出来、ストッパー20を継手本体の環状
凹溝16に装着する際、また本体内に装着されたストッ
パーを取り外す際に、折り曲げ溝23から容易に折り曲
げられて装着と取り外しが簡単に行える。

【発明の効果】以上説明した様に、本発明による樹脂管
接続用継手は、通常は管の挿入量が規制されるストッパ
ー付の継手として使用され、また作業現場において、配
管の状況に応じて作業者が本体内のストッパーを取り外
すことが出来、管の外面に継手を装通して突き合わせ配
管接続を行うことが出来るもので、施工性がよい樹脂管
接続用継手である。

Claims (3)

    【特許請求の範囲】
  1. 【請求項1】 接続樹脂管の端部外面を差し込んで接
    続する円筒状に形成された継手本体と、前記継手本体の
    樹脂管を受け入れる内周部に嵌入可能に形成され、樹脂
    管の端面に当接して管の差し込み深さが規制される樹脂
    製のストッパーとからなり、該ストッパーは、前記継手
    本体の内周面に環状凹溝を形成し、該環状凹溝に嵌合す
    る円周上複数箇所に突出する嵌合突部と、樹脂管の端面
    に当接する環状部と、該環状部の一方の側面に設けた折
    り曲げ溝とからなることを特徴とする樹脂管接続用継
    手。
  2. 【請求項2】 前記継手本体の嵌合凹溝に前記ストッ
    パーの嵌合突部が嵌合すると共に、継手本体の内周面に
    前記ストッパーの環状部外面が当接することを特徴とす
    る請求項1記載の樹脂管接続用継手。
  3. 【請求項3】 前記継手本体の内周部には、発熱によ
    って樹脂管と溶融着する融着部が形成されたことを特徴
    とする請求項1乃至2記載の樹脂管接続用継手。
