Description
Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1.第一の酸素化された炭化水素を二酸化炭素と水とに酸化するための第一の電気 化学電池であって、該電池によって生成された電気エネルギーを受け取るための 電気出力手段を有する前記第一の電気化学電池;及び 二酸化炭素を第二の酸素化された炭化水素及び酸素に還元するための第二の電 気化学電池であって、これに電気エネルギーを供給するための電気入力手段を有 する前記第二の電気化学電池 を含む再生式燃料電池系であって、 該第一及び第二電気化学電池は、該第一の電池内で生成された該二酸化炭素及 び水を、該第二の電池に供給し、かつ該第二の電池内で生成された該第二の酸素 化された炭化水素及び酸素を、該第一の電池に供給するように、相互に流体接続 関係にあることを特徴とする前記再生式燃料電池系。 2.該第一の電気化学電池が、液体供給型燃料電池である、請求の範囲第1項に記 載の再生式燃料電池系。 3.該第二の電気化学電池が、逆液体供給式燃料電池である、請求の範囲第1項に 記載の再生式燃料電池系。 4.該第一及び第二の酸素化された炭化水素が、メチルアルコール、蟻酸メチル、 ホルムアルデヒド及び蟻酸からなる群から選択される、請求の範囲第1項に記載 の再生式燃料電池系。 5.該第一及び第二の酸素化された炭化水素が、同一の化合物である、請求の範囲 第1項に記載の再生式燃料電池系。 6.更に、該第一の電気化学電池に成分を添加し、又はそこから成分を取り出すた めの第一の搬送手段と、該第二の電気化学電池に成分を添加し、又はそこから成 分を取り出すための第二の搬送手段とを含む請求の範囲第1項に記載の再生式燃 料電池系。 7.酸素化された炭化水素及び二酸化炭素を、可逆的に相互転化する方法であって 、 第一の酸素化された炭化水素を、第一のゾーンにおいて、二酸化炭素と水に酸 化し、及び 二酸化炭素と水との混合物を、第二のゾーンにおいて、第二の酸素化された炭 化水素と酸素とに還元する工程を含み、 該第一及び第二のゾーンが、該第一のゾーン内で生成された該二酸化炭素及び 水を該第二のゾーンに供給し、かつ該第二のゾーン内で生成された該第二の酸素 化された炭化水素及び酸素を、該第一のゾーンに供給するように、相互に流体接 続関係にあることを特徴とする上記方法。 8.該第一及び第二の酸素化された炭化水素が、メチルアルコール、蟻酸メチル、 ホルムアルデヒド及び蟻酸からなる群から選択される、請求の範囲第7項に記載 の方法。 9.該第一及び第二の酸素化された炭化水素が、同一の化合物である、請求の範囲 第7項に記載の方法。 10.該還元段階が電気エネルギーを消費し、かつ該方法が更に、該第二のゾーン に電気エネルギーを供給する工程をも含む、請求の範囲第7項に記載の方法。 11.該第二のゾーンに供給された電気エネルギーが、発電プラントのオフピーク 発電から得られる、請求の範囲第10項に記載の方法。 12.該酸化段階が、電気エネルギーを生成し、かつ該方法が更に、このようにし て生成された電気エネルギーを回収する工程をも含む、請求の範囲第7項に記載 の方法。 13.二酸化炭素を還元して、酸素化された炭化水素を生成する方法であって、二 酸化炭素、水及び電気エネルギーを、還元ゾーンに供給して、該二酸化炭素と水 とを反応せしめて、酸素及び酸素化された炭化水素又は酸素化された炭化水素の 混合物を生成する工程を含むことを特徴とする上記方法。 14.該酸素化された炭化水素が、メチルアルコール、ホルムアルデヒド、蟻酸、 又は蟻酸メチルである請求の範囲第13項に記載の方法。 15.該還元ゾーンに供給される二酸化炭素が、工業的副産物として得られる請求 の範囲第13項に記載の方法。 16.該還元ゾーンに供給される電気エネルギーが、発電プラントのオフピーク発 電から得られる請求の範囲第13項に記載の方法。 17.該酸素化された炭化水素がメチルアルコールであり、かつ該方法が更に、該 メチルアルコールを脱水してジメチルエーテルを生成し、及び該ジメチルエーテ ルを脱水して、エチレンを生成する工程を含む、請求の範囲第14項に記載の方法 。 18.電気エネルギーを化学的エネルギーとして貯蔵し、かつ該貯蔵された化学エ ネルギーから電気エネルギーを回収する方法であって、 酸素化された炭化水素及び二酸化炭素を、請求の範囲第7項に従って、可逆的 に相互に転化し、 エネルギー貯蔵モード及びエネルギー回収モードで、酸化及び還元段階を実施 する工程を含み、 ここで該エネルギー貯蔵モードは、第二のゾーンにエネルギーを供給し、かつ かくして生成した第二の酸素化された炭化水素及び酸素を第一のゾーンに搬送す る工程を含み、及び 該エネルギー回収モードが、該第一のゾーンにおいて、第一の酸素化された炭 化水素を酸化し、かくして生成した二酸化炭素及び水を該第二のゾーンに搬送し 及びこのようにして生成される電気エネルギーを、該第二のゾーンから回収する 工程を含む上記方法。 19.電気エネルギーを化学的エネルギーとして貯蔵し、かつ該貯蔵された化学エ ネルギーから電気エネルギーを回収する方法であって、 請求の範囲第1項に記載の再生式燃料電池系を準備し、及び 該再生式燃料電池系をエネルギー貯蔵モード及びエネルギー回収モードで動作 させる工程を含み、 ここで該エネルギー貯蔵モードが、電気エネルギーを第二の電気化学電池の電 気入力手段に供給する工程、及び このようにして生成した第二の酸素化された炭化水素及び酸素を、第一の電池 に搬送する工程を含み、及び 該エネルギー回収モードが、第一の電気化学電池内で、第一の酸素化された炭 化水素を酸化し、 このようにして生成された二酸化炭素及び水を、第二の電気化学電池に搬送し 、及び このようにして生成した電気エネルギーを、電気出力手段から回収する工程を 含む上記方法。
