Description
Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1.基板と基板上に配置された指示薬化合物とを含む指示薬装置であって、 前記指示薬化合物は、食品分解により生成された揮発性塩基に、0℃より低い 温度で比色定量的に反応し、 前記指示薬装置は、食品との使用に適合した、指示薬装置。 2.前記指示薬化合物は、約pH1.0〜約pH6.0の範囲で、色が変化する 化合物を含む請求項1に記載の装置。 3.前記指示薬化合物は、約pH2.5〜約pH5.0の範囲で、色が変化する 化合物を含む請求項2に記載の装置。 4.前記指示薬化合物は、アミノまたはアルキルアミノ官能基の不存在下で、1 つ以上の酸の官能基を有する化合物を含み、前記1つ以上の酸の官能基のうち少 なくとも1つが、−COOH,−SO3,−S(O2)O−、またはその塩である 請求項1に記載の装置。 5.前記指示薬化合物は、ハロゲン化キサンテン染料、スルホン化アゾ染料、ま たはスルホン化ヒドロキシ官能トリフェニルメタン染料である請求項1に記載の 装置。 6.前記指示薬化合物は、ブロモフェノールブルー、フロキシンB、ローズベン ガル、コンゴレッドまたはメタニルイエローである請求項5に記載の装置。 7.前記装置は、基板上に塗布された第1のポリマーマトリックスをさらに含み 、前記指示薬化合物が、第1のポリマーマトリックス内に配置される請求項1に 記載の装置。 8.前記第1のポリマーマトリックスが、シリコン含有マトリックスを含む請求 項7に記載の装置。 9.前記第1のポリマーマトリックスが、モノマー材料の酸触媒による重合によ って形成される請求項7に記載の装置。 10.前記モノマー材料が、テトラアルコキシシラン、アルキルトリアルコキシ シランまたはその混合物である請求項9に記載の装置。 11.前記装置は、前記第1のポリマーマトリックスの一部を覆っている第2の ポリマーマトリックスをさらに含み、前記第2のポリマーマトリックスが、分解 中の食品により生成される揮発性塩基を透過しない請求項1に記載の装置。 12.前記第2のポリマーマトリックスが、薄い小片を除き、第1のポリマーマ トリックスのすべてを覆う請求項11に記載の装置。 13.前記装置は、第1のポリマーマトリックス内に配置されたポリマー樹脂を さらに含む請求項7に記載の装置。 14.前記装置は、第1のポリマーマトリックス内に配置された酸材料をさらに 含む請求項7に記載の装置。 15.前記酸材料が、アルミナ水和物、ゼオライト、またはリン酸である請求項 14に記載の装置。 16.前記装置は、食品パッケージ内の包含に適合する請求項1に記載の装置。 17.前記基板が、紙、プラスチック、綿、亜麻、樹脂、ガラス、繊維ガラスま たは布である請求項1に記載の装置。 18.前記装置は、食品との使用に適した材料からなる請求項1に記載の装置。 19.食品との使用に適合した指示薬装置を製造する方法であって、 指示薬化合物、溶媒および酸の溶液を形成する工程と、 シランモノマー材料を前記溶液に添加する工程と、 前記溶液を基板に置く工程と、 基板上でシランモノマー材料を重合させて、シリカマトリックスを形成する工 程とを含み、指示薬化合物が、シリカマトリックス内に配置される方法。 20.腐敗した冷凍食品を検知する方法であって、 基板と基板上に配置される指示薬化合物とを含む指示薬装置であって、前記指 示薬化合物が、腐敗した冷凍食品によって生成される揮発性塩基に0℃より低い 温度で比色定量的に反応する指示薬装置を、冷凍食品に曝す工程と、 前記装置を視覚的に検査し、食品が腐敗しているかどうかを、前記指示薬化合 物の色が変化したかどうかを観察することによって決定する工程とを含む方法。 21.前記指示薬装置が、指示薬化合物の上にアミン不透過性ポリマーマトリッ クスをさらに含み、 前記アミン不透過性ポリマーマトリックスの一部を取り外し、指示薬化合物を 露出させる工程をさらに含む請求項20に記載の方法。 22.取り外したアミン不透過性ポリマーマトリックス部分に隣接する指示薬化 合物の色変化の拡散量を視覚的に観察することによって、食品の分解量を決定す る工程をさらに含む請求項21に記載の方法。 23.食品生産物での使用のための食品パッケージであって、 食品生産物用のパッケージと、 食品生産物から発する揮発性塩基に曝されるようにパッケージに付随する請求 項1に記載の指示薬装置とを含む食品パッケージ。 24.2つ以上の請求項1に記載の指示薬装置を含み、各指示薬装置が、異なる 指示薬化合物の量を有するか、または指示薬化合物に備わる酸の量が異なる請求 項23に記載の食品パッケージ。 25.食品生産物が、冷凍された赤肉、豚肉、トリ肉、加工肉製品または海産食 物である請求項23に記載の食品パッケージ。 26.望ましくないアミン生成生物学的作用物質の存在を検知する方法であって 、 基板と基板上に配置される指示薬化合物とを含む指示薬装置であって、前記指 示薬化合物が、前記アミン生成生物学的作用物質により放出される揮発性塩基に 比色定量的に反応する指示薬装置を、食品生産物に曝す工程と、 前記装置を視覚的に検査し、食品生産物が、望ましくないアミン生成生物学的 作用物質を含有しているかどうかを、前記指示薬化合物の色が変化したかどうか を観察することによって決定する工程とを含む方法。 27.前記指示薬装置が、指示薬化合物の上にアミン不透過性ポリマーマトリッ クスをさらに含み、 前記アミン不透過性ポリマーマトリックスの一部を取り外し、指示薬化合物を 露出させる工程をさらに含む請求項26に記載の方法。 28.取り外したアミン不透過性ポリマーマトリックス部分に隣接する指示薬化 合物の色変化の拡散量を視覚的に観察することによって、食品生産物の生物学的 作用物質の量を決定する工程をさらに含む請求項27に記載の方法。 29.前記食品生産物が、穀物であり、前記望ましくない生物学的作用物質が、 クロホ菌である請求項26に記載の方法。 30.基板と基板上に配置された指示薬化合物とを含む指示薬装置であって、前 記指示薬化合物は、食品分解によって生成された揮発性塩基に、水の媒介なしに 比色定量的に反応し、前記指示薬装置は、食品との使用に適合した指示薬装置。 31.基板と基板上に配置された指示薬化合物とを含む指示薬装置であって、前 記指示薬化合物は、食品分解により生成された揮発性酸に、0℃より低い温度で 比色定量的に反応し、前記指示薬装置は、食品との使用に適合した指示薬装置。 32.前記装置は、基板上に塗布された第1のポリマーマトリックスをさらに含 み、前記指示薬化合物が、第1のポリマーマトリックス内に配置される請求項3 1に記載の装置。 33.前記装置は、第1のポリマーマトリックス内に配置される塩基材料をさら に含む請求項32に記載の装置。 34.腐敗した冷凍食品を検知する方法であって、 基板と基板上に配置される指示薬化合物とを含む指示薬装置であって、前記指 示薬化合物が、腐敗した冷凍食品によって生成された揮発性酸に0℃より低い温 度で比色定量的に反応する指示薬装置を、冷凍食品に曝す工程と、 前記装置を視覚的に検査し、食品が腐敗しているかどうかを、前記指示薬化合 物の色が変化したかどうかを観察することによって決定する工程とを含む方法。
