Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1.MPEG符号化画像を表すデータのデータストリームを処理するシステムに おけるMPEG互換信号処理システムであって、 MPEG圧縮されたデータを圧縮解除して圧縮解除されたデータを作成するデ コンプレッサ(18〜21)と、 前記圧縮解除されたデータをデータ削減してデータ削減された情報を作成する データ削減ネットワークであって、前記データ削減ネットワークが再圧縮ネット ワーク(40、42)およびサブサンプリング・ネットワーク(36、38)を 含んだものと、 前記データ削減された情報に応答する画像データプロセッサ(60〜72)と 、 前記サブサンプリング・ネットワークがアクチベートされているときに、前記 再圧縮ネットワーク(42)を選択的にインヒビットする制御ネットワーク(4 5)と を含むことを特徴とするMPEG互換信号処理システム。 2.請求項1において、 前記再圧縮ネットワークは複数のコンプレッサを含み、 前記制御ネットワークは、前記サブサンプリング・ネットワークがアクチベー トされているときに前記コンプレッサ(42)のうち一つをインヒビットする ことを特徴とするシステム。 3.請求項2において、 前記サブサンプリング・ネットワークは前記圧縮解除されたデータに応答して 、サブサンプリングされ、圧縮解除されたデータを作成し、 前記コンプレッサは並列に配置されて、前記サブサンプリングされ、圧縮解除 されたデータを含んだデータストリームの所定成分を処理して再圧縮されたデー タを作成し、 前記再圧縮されたデータはメモリ(60)に記憶される ことを特徴とするシステム。 4.請求項2において、 前記制御ネットワークは、前記コンプレッサのうちインヒビットされた一つか ら電力を除去することを特徴とするシステム。 5.請求項1において、 前記再圧縮ネットワークおよび前記サブサンプリング・ネットワークはDPC Mループに配置されており、さらに 記憶され再圧縮されたデータを圧縮解除するための圧縮解除ネットワーク(8 0〜84)と、 動き補償処理ネットワーク(90)と を含むことを特徴とするシステム。 6.圧縮されたMPEG符号化画像を表すデータのデータストリームを処理する 方法において、 MPEG圧縮されたデータを圧縮解除して圧縮解除されたデータを作成するス テップと、 前記圧縮解除されたデータをデータ削減して、データを再圧縮するステップと データをサブサンプリングするステップによってデータ削減された情報を作成す るステップと、 前記サブサンプリング・ステップがアクチベートされるときに前記再圧縮ステ ップを選択的にインヒビットするステップと を含むことを特徴とする方法。 7.請求項6において、 さらに、前記再圧縮されたデータをメモリに記憶するステップを含んでおり、 前記サブサンプリング・ステップでは前記圧縮解除されたデータをサブサンプ リングして、サブサンプリングされ、圧縮解除されたデータを作成し、 前記再圧縮ステップは、並列に動作して前記サブサンプリングされ圧縮解除さ れたデータを含んだデータストリームの所定成分を処理し、前記再圧縮されたデ ータを作成する複数の圧縮機能(compressing functions)を含み、 前記インヒビット・ステップでは、前記サンプリング・ステップがアクチベー トされているときに前記複数の圧縮機能のうち一つをインヒビットする ことを特徴とする方法。 8.請求項6において、 前記インヒビット・ステップは、データ圧縮ネットワークからの電力除去を伴 うことを特徴とする方法。
