Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1.2つの基板間に電気‐光学材料を有する表示装置であって、少なくとも一方 の基板が透明であり、第1の基板に画像電極が設けられており、各画像電極が スイッチング素子を経て行電極及び列電極に結合され、画像電極は他の電極及 び駆動手段に容量結合されて行電極に選択信号を与えるとともに行電極又は前 記他の電極にバイアス信号を与えるようになっている当該表示装置において、 駆動手段が、バイアス信号の電圧レベルを温度に応じて変える手段を有して いることを特徴とする表示装置。 2.請求の範囲1に記載の表示装置において、第2の基板に少なくとも1つの対 向電極が設けられていることを特徴とする表示装置。 3.請求の範囲2に記載の表示装置において、駆動手段が、対向電極に信号を与 える手段を有していることを特徴とする表示装置。 4.請求の範囲1に記載の表示装置において、画像電極が隣の行電極に容量結合 されていることを特徴とする表示装置。 5.請求の範囲1に記載の表示装置において、この表示装置には2つの基板のう ちの1つの基板上で少なくとも1つの温度センサが設けられていることを特徴 とする表示装置。 6.請求の範囲5に記載の表示装置において、温度センサは、フェースダウンボ ンディングチップ内に設けられていることを特徴とする表示装置。 7.請求の範囲5に記載の表示装置において、駆動手段と温度センサとが1つの 半導体本体内に形成されていることを特徴とする表示装置。
