Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1. 内燃機関(2)のためのスタータユニットであって、一方ではスタータ発電 機(4)、他方では慣性体(5)によって行う2つの始動方法を有しており、内 燃機関(2)のクランクシャフト(3)に設けられた少なくとも1つのクラッチ (6,7)に連結可能、若しくは該クラッチ(6,7)から連結解除可能であっ て、慣性体(5)が内燃機関(2)を回転エネルギで始動させることができる形 式のものにおいて、 切替装置(11)が設けられており、該切替装置(11)が内燃機関(2) の温度に応じてスタータユニット(1;13)を、一方の始動方法から他方の始 動方法へと切り替えることを特徴とする、内燃機関のためのスタータユニット。 2. 内燃機関(2)が低温である場合に行われる始動方法が、慣性体(5)を用 いて実行可能な衝撃始動方法であって、該始動方法を行う際にはスタータ発電機 (4)が慣性体(5)を事前に高速回転させる、請求項1記載のスタータユニッ ト。 3. 内燃機関(2)が高温である場合に行われる始動方法が、直接始動方法であ って、該始動方法を行う際にはスタータ発電機(4)が、クランクシャフト(3 )に連結された状態の慣性体(5)を駆動する 、請求項1または2記載のスタータユニット。 4. 切替装置が、エンジンオイルの温度に依存しており、エンジンオイルを予備 加熱することにより、選択的スタートの回数が減少される、請求項1から3まで のいずれか1項記載のスタータユニット。 5. オイル予備加熱が潜熱蓄え器(12)によって行われている、請求項4記載 のスタータユニット。 6. 直接始動を行う際に、短い減圧位相が調整可能である、請求項3から5まで のいずれか1項記載のスタータユニット。 7. 始動方法が、衝撃始動と直接始動との組み合わせであって、クランクシャフ ト(3)の始動回転が衝撃始動を介して行われ、該衝撃始動及び又は引き続き行 われる高速回転が、直接始動を介して補助されている、請求項4から6までのい ずれか1項記載のスタータユニット。 8. 衝撃スタートの有効回転数が、内燃機関(2)の周囲条件に応じて調整可能 である、請求項1又は4から7までのいずれか1項記載のスタータユニット。 9. 一方の始動方法から他方の始動方法への切替の限界条件が適宜に算出可能で ある、請求項1から8までのいずれか1項記載のスタータユニット。 10.オートマチック切替トランスミッションの構成部材に接続された、請求項1 から9までのいずれか1 項記載のスタータユニットにおいて、該ユニットのために唯1つのクラッチ(6 )しか設けられていないことを特徴とする、請求項1から9までのいずれか1項 記載のスタータユニット。 11.スタータモータを適当に制御することにより、切替トランスミッションの同 期化を補助することができる、請求項1から10までのいずれか1項記載のスター タユニット。
