Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1.約0.03〜4リットルの範囲の容積と、約0.1〜2ミリメートルの範囲の全 厚の多層化壁とを有する食品を貯蔵するための実質的にゼロ酸素透過の熱可塑性 容器。 2.前記容器が、約4〜25℃の温度範囲の周囲貯蔵条件下、約30〜365日の期 間、外部大気由来の酸素が製品内に、製品重量に対して1ppm以上透過させず、 且つ前記期間が容器を充填し、シールした時点から測定したものである、請求項 1に記載の容器。 3.前記期間が約60〜365日の範囲である、請求項2に記載の容器。 4.前記期間が約60〜180日の範囲である、請求項2に記載の容器。 5.前記多層化壁の少なくとも1層が、主にポリエステルセグメントと酸素掃 去量のポリオレフィンオリゴマーセグメントとを含む酸素掃去性コポリエステル を含む、請求項1に記載の容器。 6.前記コポリエステルが、約1000〜約3000の範囲の分子量のポリブタジエン オリゴマーセグメント約2〜約12重量%とポリエステルセグメント約88〜約98重 量%とを含む、請求項5に記載の容器。 7.前記容器がさらに、場合により壁より厚く、且つ場合により一体構造であ り得るベースを含む、請求項1に記載の容器。 8.前記容器がさらに封止手段を取付けるセクションを含み、、前記容器のセ クションが場合により壁より厚く且つ場合により一体構造であり得る請求項1に 記載の容器。 9.前記容器がボトルである、請求項1に記載の容器。 10.前記多層化ボトル壁が、同様の全壁厚の一体形ポリエステルボトル壁の 少なくとも70%の透明度と等しい透明度を有する、請求項9に記載のボトル。 11.食品の貯蔵キャビティを有するニアゼロ酸素透過の熱可塑性ボトルであ って、前記ボトルは、ボトルキャビティの底部を画定するベース及び、ボトルキ ャビティの壁を形成し且つボトルキャビティに必要な容積を提供するベースから 伸長し且つベースに取付けられた、多層の、一般的に筒状の側壁を含み、前記側 壁は、ボトルキャップの取付けに好適なボトルキャビティの上部に開口部を画定 するために境界をなし、該側壁の内部層は、主にポリエステルセグメントと酸素 掃去量のポリオレフィンオリゴマーセグメントとを含むコポリエステル酸素掃去 剤配合物から構成され、前記ボトルは、充填及びキャップ後、(a)ボトルキャビ ティ内の酸素を消滅させ且つ消耗させ、(b)ボトルキャップ開口部を通して入り 得る酸素を消滅且つ消耗させ、及び(c)空気由来の酸素が掃去性内部層に到達す る速度と大体同一速度で酸素を消滅させるのに十分な酸素掃去能力を有し、(a) 、(b)及び(c)による殆ど全ての酸素の消滅が、少なくとも、特定の貯蔵条件下で 目標のボトル詰め製品の包装寿命に必要な酸素消耗レベルで維持される、該熱可 塑性ボトル。 12.酸素掃去能力及び包装寿命を、(a)ポリオレフィンオリゴマーの分子量 を変動させる、(b)掃去性コポリエステル中のポリオレフィンオリゴマーセグメ ントの重量%を変動させる、(c)ボトル壁及び底部内で追加の酸素掃去剤を場合 により同時使用する、(d)内部掃去剤層中で掃去性コポリエステルを希釈する、( e)内部掃去層の中心を外して設置する程度を変動させる、(f)ボトル壁内で酸素 掃去剤触媒を使用する、(g)酸素掃去能力を有するボトルキャップを場合により 同時使用する、(h)複数の酸素掃去性層を使用する、(i)使用する酸素掃去剤の量 を変動させる、(j)掃去剤層の厚さを変動させる、及び(k)上記の組み合わせから なる群から選択される方法により製品の要求性能に合致するように最適且つ原価 効率的に調節する、請求項11に記載のボトル。 13.前記コポリエステルが、約1000〜約3000の範囲内の分子量のポリブタジ エンオリゴマーセグメント約2〜約12重量%とポリエステルセグメント約88〜約 98重量%とを含む、請求項11に記載のボトル。 14.前記ポリエステルセグメントが、PET、PETI、PETN、APET、PEN、PETB、 これらのコポリマー、これらのブレンド及び上記の混合物からなる群から選択さ れる、請求項13に記載のボトル。 15.前記ボトルベースが、側壁の多層化酸素掃去性構造をも含む、請求項1 1に記載のボトル。 16.前記製品の目標の包装寿命が約30〜365日の範囲であり、且つ貯蔵条件 が約4〜25℃の範囲の温度を含む、請求項11に記載のボトル。 17.(i)多層化ボトル製造装置を使用して樹脂の第1層を成形し、 (ii)多層化ボトル製造装置を使用して樹脂の第2層を成形し、 (iii)多層化ボトル製造装置を使用して樹脂の第3層を成形し、次いで (iv)多層化ボトル製造装置を使用して、樹脂の第1、第2及び第3層を完成した 多層化ボトルに変形させる 段階を含み、前記装置は、(A)少なくとも2種類の異なった樹脂を別個に加工し 、次いで(B)少なくとも3層を有する層状ボトルを成形するための手段を有し、 該ボトルの少なくとも一つの層は、主にポリエステルセグメントと酸素掃去量の ポリオレフィンオリゴマーセグメントとを含むコポリエステル酸素掃去剤樹脂配 合物を含む、多層化酸素掃去性ボトルの製造法。 18.前記第1、第2及び第3層を同時に成形する、請求項17に記載の方法 。 19.前記第1、第2及び第3層を逐次的に成形する、請求項17に記載の方 法。 20.前記コポリエステルが、約1000〜約3000の範囲内の分子量のポリブタジ エンオリゴマーセグメント約2〜約12重量%とポリエステルセグメント約88〜約 98重量%とを含む、請求項17に記載の方法。 21.前記ポリエステルセグメントが、PET、PETI、PETN、APET、PEN、これら のコポリマー、これらのブレンド及び上記の混合物からなる群から選択される、 請求項20に記載の方法。 22.前記ボトルを、最初に多層化ボトルプレフォームとして形成し、続いて 最終ボトル容積まで膨張させる、請求項17に記載の方法。 23.前記ボトルプレフォームを、得られたボトルの特性を改良するために特 別な温度処理にかける、請求項22に記載の方法。 24.前記コポリエステルが、約1000〜約3000の範囲内の分子量のポリブタジエ ンオリゴマーセグメント約2〜約12重量%とポリエステルセグメント約88〜約98 重量%とを含む、請求項22に記載の方法。 25.前記ポリエステルセグメントが、PET、PETI、PETN、APET、PEN、これら のコポリマー、これらのブレンド及び上記の混合物からなる群から選択される、 請求項24に記載の方法。 26.前記ボトルを、それらの特性を改良するために特別な温度処理にかける 、請求項17に記載の方法。 27.完成したボトルを、使用するまで、空気の酸素含量と比較して低減酸素 環境下で貯蔵する、請求項17に記載の方法。 28.前記ボトルが層構造A/B/Cの3層ボトルであって、ボトルキャビティ を画定する層Cはバージンボトル詰め用ポリエステルから構成され、層Bは請求 項17に記載のコポリエステル酸素掃去剤から構成され、及び層Aはバージンポ リエステル、リサイクルポリエステル、再生利用ポリエステル及びこれらの混合 物から選択されるボトル詰め用ポリエステルから構成される、請求項17に記載 の方法。 29.層Aが、層Cの約2〜約10倍の範囲の厚さである、請求項28に記載の 方法。 30.前記ボトルが層構造A/B/C/D/Eの5層ボトルであって、ボトルキャ ビティを画定する層Eはバージンボトル詰め用ポリエステルから構成され、層B 及びDは請求項17に記載のコポリエステル酸素掃去剤から構成され、層Cはボ トル詰め用ポリエステルから構成され、及び層Aはボトル詰め用ポリエステルか ら構成され、層C及びAは独立して、バージンポリエステル、リサイクルポリエ ステル、再生利用ポリエステル、及びこれらの混合物からなる群から選択される 、請求項17に記載の方法。 31.少なくとも1層が、(a)主にポリエステルセグメントと酸素掃去量のポ リブタジエンオリゴマーセグメントとを含むコポリエステルと、(b)コバルトが 存在する層の重量に対して約50〜500ppmの範囲のコバルトとを含む組成物を含む 多層化熱可塑性容器であって、前記コバルトが脂肪族コバルトカルボキシレート として供給される、該多層化熱可塑性容器。 32.前記組成物がさらに、ベンゾフェノンが存在する層の重量に対して約50 〜500ppmの範囲のベンゾフェノンを含む、請求項31に記載の容器。 33.容積が約0.03〜約4リットルの範囲であり、且つ全壁厚が約0.1〜2ミ リメートルの範囲である、請求項31に記載の容器。
